    Vague Last Exception?

    My game is throwing exceptions that only say this:

    <?xml version="1.0" ?><root>
    </root>

    Do you have any thoughts about what I should do to fix it?

      That is a blank last exception. It is mostly uncommon but happened to me recently too.
      Known causes are:

      -bad CC (yes CC can break to, especially if it is an object that got a new interaction with the update it previously didn't have)
      -installed mods meant for EPs, GPs or SPs that you don't own (make sure you have none of those mods)
      -CC traits, foods
      -too many script mods

      I think there are several othe causes, do you happen to be on the discord server of MCC? They can help with last exceptions

      With no MCCC in the game, this is a game error not a mod.
      MCCC gives full details of the mod causing the trouble.

      This I call, the game taking exception to being required to start. Or, a bad update.

      I get a LE when my sims sit in on skill classes. I took it to the Deaderpool Discord and they said it's an EA error.

      I had one of these recently, I have MCCC. They didn’t tell me it was an EA error, they just told me to get this “better exceptions” mod. It wasn’t particularly helpful. I also realised that I should delete my cache, since my “localthumbcache” was over 53,000 KB. So I deleted that plus other bits of cache and I haven’t had a problem since.

      I actually delete my localthumbcache regularly. I also move extra saves and screenshots out of my game folder.

      I've gotten this LE several times since the June Patch for EL and use MCCC too. Always delete my localthumbcache before starting to play any of my saved games. It figures that this LE would be due to an EA glitch. FAIL as usual. :P

      I hadn't ever deleted my localthumbcache :D hence the huge size. It hasn't affected my gameplay in any way. I haven't noticed other glitches/bugs that others have mentioned like the toilet catching fire.

      Just check your mod guys and if they fit the description I listed delete them.

      Vanilla player here and I've had this LE too.
