The Future Cube event last month mentioned "Self-organization will be key to a happy future", and since it's one of the few phrases that hasn't been found to have a connection to EL or Knitting, it could be the game pack, and subsequently fit into those different themes?

It’s almost definitely a dragon pack/reminiscent of game of thrones. The gnome freezer bunny on a llama sounds like the ice king and the vet with multiple cats reminds me of the mother of dragons. I’ve noticed the sims team does this a lot with popular media: Strangerville was their version of Stranger Things. Sulani was their version of Moana. Realm of Magic was their version of Harry Potter. I think this game pack will be an adaptation of the most successful pop culture thing in a while: Game of Thrones. I have no idea how they would pull that off in a game pack though I’m excited to see them try!

this would be for totally awesome!!! Simguruninja had a picture on Twitter recently with the sims midevil or however you spell it,in the background. Seemed so random. And if it has dragons @Gordy
    Would be thrilled! 🤭
Zombies, oh please oh please give us zombies!! :'(

The Sims 4 hasn't introduced a new musical instrument since 2017

To me, self-organization is in reference to the new inventory update we got in the patch.

All the mascots in the future cube, the word "foe" etc could be hinting to a highschool pack?

Mmm! It's also been speculated that they're doing something for teens soon, since they were omitted from the last survey. They did ask about school-related things though, and I doubt they would have included that in the poll if it was already so far in the works... but you never know.

A crime pack! That would fit so well with EL!

I just want something different honestly. Im getting tired of the whole American suburban style packs and worlds (Willow Creek, Oasis Springs, Brindleton Bay, Britechester, Granite Falls, Magnolia Promenade, Newcrest, StrangerVille and now Evergreen Harbor). Even Sulani was based on Hawaii.
The only non-American style ones are San Myshuno (Japanese, I believe), Windenburg (Germany), Selvadorada (Latin-American), Forgotten Hollow (Fantasy), Glimmerbrook (Fantasy),

Personally, I'd reverse San Myshuno and Britechester in your list. Britechester was, I believe, specifically modeled on English college towns though the similarity to American New England is also valid - probably because a lot of American New England towns were modeled on English ones. And San Myshuno... could easily be Chicago or New York as much as Tokyo... or really just about any major city with skyscrapers anywhere. (I live just outside Chicago and visiting San Myshuno with my sims feels like going "downtown")

But yeah, time for something new.

Well this sounds too good to be true! I hope they would think of that, it would be awesome!
I was wondering... Do we know if Eco Lifestyle and this game pack that will be released will be the last TS4 extensions?

Maybe a pack about tourism or something where you can have monuments in your town?

AKA yet another pack I wouldn't bother getting.

That sounds interesting. If they bring Paris to TS4 hope it's really the city and no the countryside around it like in TS3.

It's all interesting, and they were spot on with their Eco Living "tea". While I love playing in France in Sims 3 (even now!), and the idea of a romantic Paris world with more romance interactions sounds wonderful, I am curious how the Gurus would be able to justify calling this "never been done before". I'm open to the idea of it though....

    Yay, we're getting werewolves! :wink::p

What? They're not doing an "American Werewolf in Paris" pack?

    Aw darn.

    :p

(I'm joking, of course. I'm not actually expecting it to be such a pack.)

I'm still not clear on if "Never done before" is the theme, the mechanics/gameplay or both. A lot of people are assuming either the theme or both (mostly both), and I can see a lot of people being disappointed if it turns out to be the gameplay but set in a theme that has been previously visited.

I'm curious to know what it means as well. I am okay with a theme being revisited. It's so hard to tell how people will react no matter what. The forums seem mostly split in half. I keep my expectations open to what the Devs consider. I won't throw a fit if it's something I don't care for...but if it is a Romance Travel to Paris pack....swoon.

I mean, if it is Paris, maybe they’ll have an establishment like Le Chat Noir - maybe it’ll be a somewhat period inspired Paris. If they do that, all the cats on the promo image make sense.

Or it could be a pun and a reference to the Paris Catacombs. With a darker more mystery/adventure theme.
    Sometimes I stream.

What promo image with cats are you referring to?

Ah, sorry! The “six month roadmap” image. It only used renders from existing packs. But some have speculated those images were chosen with intent to hint towards future packs.
