Hey Simmers,
I’m sure many of y’all are diving deep into eco lifestyle. I know I am having a blast and coming up for air was hard. I thought I could create a thread where we could ask and answer each other’s questions about the new pack. I know I’ve had a lot since this pack has a lot going on and it’s not always super clear about how to do things.
My current questions are:
1. Does use of electronics and powered items cause a more industrial footprint?
(You can upgrade them to be more green so I’ve been a little confused about this)
2. What are the best ways to be more green or more industrial?
3. Do you see your neighbors actively participating in N.A.Ps? (Haven’t gotten this far yet)
Feel free to post your questions and answer other players. I hope y’all are having a good time with the new pack and happy simming.

Does anyone know where sims can collect water in Evergreen Harbour? I struggled to find water points last night.

I think the only way water is collected is through the Dew collectors.
Yes. This is one of my complaints about the pack. The industrial side dropped far too quickly for me. I hope they can fix this or at least there will be a mod to steady it a bit.
This may be a really dumb question - How do you vote for community lot types? I have went to the board and they are greyed out Am I missing something obvious?
You can make some with the fabricator.
No, you can collect water from water pumps, ponds, some wells, fishing and swimming spots if you are living off the grid (it's a base game update). But I don't have Eco Lifestyle yet, so I don't know about specific places in Evergreen Harbor.
I found one in grims quarry yesterday but I can’t seem to find one at all in port promise. Not sure there is one there.
A couple ways. Use the recycler or if you have the new lot trait for recycling you can search recyclables and compost and click on those in your inventory and turn them into bits and pieces.
I haven't managed to find this career in faculties' "bonuses": only simple engineers (robots) and eco specialists.
Physics or Communication depending on branch
It is a career perk. I think it´s Design Guru. Then you can click on the vertical Garden for "Grow "Meat"" (sorry I am playing with German language settings)
1. Can you have this lot trait on apartments in San Myshuno?
2. If yes, will garbage spawn inside of the apartment and on the lot surrounding the apartment (where the festivals are)?
