Let's be honest; I buy every pack anyway. I never pre-order and I don't purchase on release, but I always buy every pack. I even bought Bowling Night, and if that's not a specialist pack I don't know what is.

Having now read more and reflected on it I would say maybe only if I can make the town worse not more eco friendly. The sims 4 is already a hyper eco utopian where everyone is brainwashed to be super happy no matter what it seems. I want something negative and dark please.

I preordered it. I hope I get to play it early with a midnight download.

This is the kind of pack I've been wanting for a couple of years now, and I can see how it will (hopefully) fit in well with other packs.

I might wait for a salw because of budget reasons (it's not that I think this particular pack isn't worth the full price, I think overpricing is a wider issue and I don't have the spare cash anyway) or see if I get lucky in giveaways.

But yup, from what I've seen so far, I'll be getting this pack at some point. I can't imagine it getting less likely with more info.

Unfortunately, I'm not interested in any of the game play features. :( If the world is big, I might snag it on a sale, though it'd have to be heavily discounted.

I'm pretty sure I'm buying it, but even more sure that I'll wait for a sale.

Yes I'm eager to get it. I will get it in a bundle as I was thinking about getting jungle adventure next (more for the build buy items really) ... I'd like to say that I'll wait until I can combine it with knitting stuff, but let's be real...I'll never have that amount of patience.

I want to like this pack, really I do! I can find things that I like e.g. the grit, the grim, the world objects, polluted city, the fact that if you leave the city the pollution can become worse, some CAS items but other than that I'm stumped at how I could intergrate this into all my saves. 40 quid is a lot of money to pick up pixel trash which I did not too long ago in Island Living. I didn't even enjoy Island Living conservation that much and I only did it because that was the most interesting aspect of that pack (to me, anyway)!

It's going to be a hard sale for EA, unfortunately. It's the timing that's off to me - much like MFPS and C&D. They've released too much of the same stuff in a short period of time and it just feels... off to me.

Yes I’ll probably buy it but I said maybe because I’m still in the curious and intrigued stage. Like I think I want it but I can’t be totally sure until I get more info.

Judging from the trailer only. No, because there is nothing new in my opinion. It is just recycled gameplay. The bicycles are already in university living. The scrap metal machine is same animation as cupcake factory. The vacuum is the same animation as the machine you used to attack the mother in Stranger ville. The worm/chicken object is the same animation as my first pet stuff. The market is the same gameplay as city living.

The only thing new is dumpster diving. We need more than that.

Yep dystopian world and death by flies is going to be fun. I mean I could wait and get it doing some playtesting, but for the farming features it has don't think I will wait. I adore Stardew Valley so this pack is right up my alley.

I'm with you on the Stardew front there, but why didn't they just give us a farming pack? WHY??? I don't hate the idea of this pack. Maybe I'll get it some time in the future when there's a sale, but I think I'm gonna wait 4 more info before blowing my money away.

Maybe. I guess. I’m waiting for more info.
Cas so far doesn’t appeal to me but we’ll see.
Build/buy looks ok, but we haven’t seen everything. I’m going for new kitchen counters (actually the ones from Island living would fit well with this EP).
As for gameplay, candle making, juice making, up-cycle, apparently they said there will be new traits, I could use that.

I liked some of the features shown so far, but overall wasn't thrilled about the trailer. Vertical gardening, candle making, wind turbines & solar panels are something I could get a lot of use out of. Once we get more info I think it will help me decide. If I do decide to get it for the features I like, I'll wait for a sale because to me it just doesn't garner a full EP price.

I wouldn't pay money for it. If I got it for free I might be interested depending on more info about the world.

I definitely want it. I love Strangerville and still play it, same for Island Living and the conservationist career. So this is right up my alley. I love combining gameplay. Like sending a sim to university to study biology then having them live in Sulani after graduation to do their post graduate work and then write books on conservation and ecology. I don’t do linear pack play throughs I combine the aspects of the pack with my regular gameplay and find I get a lot of mileage out of them that way.

Already preordered. There's a lot in this one that will slot so nicely into my ordinary, everyday gameplay so I'm quite excited for this one. Plus, I really enjoy the sims actions making a difference to their environment 🌱

I've stopped playing TS4 after University.
I am back to playing TS3. I passed on Tiny Living mainly because it did not have ladders and spiral staircases.
We've got ladders now at least.

But now that we have Eco-lifestyle, I am glad I did not buy Tiny living.
The two seem to have overlap, and just doesn't seem right since they are released so close together.

Eco-Lifestyle will be perfect for one of my sims however, so I can use it, but I think I will wait until the next game pack and stuff pack comes out
and the first major EA sale. This just doesn't seem like it's worth the price.
But the real reason why this is a maybe is because I am waiting to see if there will ever be a trait/emotions/whims overhaul in this game.
Because it doesn't seem to matter what pack you pile on if those game play features aren't addressed.

I do have the Slice of Life and Meaningful Stories mods, and I just found out a mod that fixes what I don't like about whims,
so that may be enough. I just may be waiting for a good sale.

I play like you do. I play parts of a pack gameplay together with other parts from other packs. I think that's why im finding the packs replayable.

If Target has a 50% off sale, when Cats and Dogs was released. If not then, I’ll wait for it to be on sale.

As much as I hate it, I'll end up buying it anyway because I'm a completionist. Sigh..
