@seaben Thank you, I am so glad you put forth this little challenge
I think your living room is my favorite part of your house, the colors just work so well there! I also love that little pond you've tucked away into a corner. The rustic feel really works throughout the whole thing.
@kgaff that is fantastic! I love that we had the same idea. Where are your amazing windows from, I don't have those! And I love that double-storied arched porch on the front, that is just beautiful. The whole thing is absolutely lovely!
And thank you, once I settled on the foundation orientation I really felt inspired with this.
@Pinkusfamily Oh that is really lovely! Beautiful landscaping especially. I really love your addition of a detached garage/shed
@ciane Oh I really love your color scheme! And that's a perfect little niche for the pool to fit into.
@ADWilson What a great idea to combine the two challenges! You've worked both together here for a great build! Especially remarkable for the no store content and very few expansions or stuff packs! That little workshop could even work equally as a play house for the kids!
Thank you so much for your kind comments also, you are all really making me blush here!
@creativemetaphor I remember those windows I use them a lot I can check Witch EP there from tomorrow I'm glad that everyone decided to do the shell and I want to remind anyone that was planning to do the shell challenge it's do tomorrow at 12 PM Central Time
@seaben ~ This is a nice home for a fairy family! Plenty of room, especially bathrooms. Cute pond! Your idea for nursery room off of child's bedroom is clever and makes moving them when they age up easier. The colors you used reminds me of spring, flower gardens and obviously fairies. Your idea for tracking down the gnomes is a fun one.
@Pinkusfamily Love your house! It has a cozy, lived in feel. You have a way of filling it up but not making it fee messy (for lack of a better word) if you know what I mean. I like the way you layed it out, the kitchen/dining/family room is my fav.
@ciane Nice and open first floor but I like the basement level the best with the warm wood and the layout. Great job roofing the place, it was a hard one to get the roof right.
@ADWilson Very clever of you to combine two challenges into one build. You did a marvelous job of getting all those rooms on one level. I really like your mix of wall coverings, they all work so well, great colors too.
@seaben First of all, thanks for doing this challenge, it was fun and seems to have caught on well. Your house turned out great too. The greens you used work well with the dark wood. I think green is one of those colors that is hard to work with, so well done. I can't get over how you got everything on one floor also.
This challenge now closed
I will post the next shell tomorrow I didn't play today and thanks for the feedback on my builds and on the challenge @ADWilson@ciane@Kgaff and @Pinkusfamily it means a lot to me that your taking interest
ok the next shell is ready you can download it here and here are pictures with grid mode on and @creativemetaphor the windows @kgaff used are from showtime
I put on page one the that you can rotate the lot and that you can put it on a bigger lot and the original lot size is 30x30 and yes your only supposed to use one inspiration object

are we supposed to use one of the three items you have shown in picture 2?
Could you post the size of the lot? I found it 30 x 30
Are we allowed to turn the lot any way we want?
