So many amazing builds this time!!! Keep up the great job!!! Also keep in mind
    Build-n-Share Challenge #225 - A Tiny Hangout ** Due 30th April**

You can still submit your Easter/Cottontail challenge for everyone to comment on until May 15. :D Or later--no judging on that one!

Okay, just an FYI for everyone's further amusement. A few hundred years ago, the head male of the family got into an argument with a very powerful wizard. Mr. Cottontail had no idea the man was even a wizard since he was a stranger. But he was to pay for his prideful sins and rude comments. As it was then in the month of the pagan fertility celebrations, the wizard cursed the current Mr. Cottontail and all the heads of his family to follow that they would turn into human-sized rabbits ever year during that month. Ever since then, the change has taken place every sunset to sunrise of the month during which the fertility celebration (now called Easter) takes place. Even through out this terrible cursed time, the real Cottontail spirit of giving and loving others (which started with Peter Cottontail the younger, son of the original man who received the curse) shines in the hearts of all the Cottontails. They use their creativity and skills to share fun and gifts with all those that Peter can get to in a single night using his powerful back rabbit haunches. His Easter basket is bottomless, and the spirit of his magic allows it to stay full as he delivers his goodies to all! This just goes to prove that even if you are a little different or "cursed" with something others see as bad, you can always turn it into something good using the love and creativity you were born with (or learned). So, if you think that you can't do something because it is too hard or embarrassing, remember what Peter Cottontail has to overcome ever year and give it a second try!!!

(I have no idea what the real Peter Cottontail books are really about--this is just for our story)

Great addition to the story @iampes23 and the part about giving things a second try 👌

@creativemetaphor ~ Warren Hall definitely has wow factor! Gorgeous colors and comfortable furnishings in all directions. Love all the little details you added to the Arts and Crafts room, that must have taken a bit of time. Another enjoyable picture tour!!

The Cottontail family is cute <3

@Kgaff ~ Neat how we both built in Riverview. Your home has cute curb appeal! the eggs leading to the play area is a clever idea! Oh my ... so is the bunny flowed bed! Love the color palette and furnishings you chose, such a cozy home. The colorful floor pattern for the deck is delightful! Enjoyed your pretty picture tour & had fun imaging the family living here!!

@seaben ~ I'm sorry, I didn't mean to overlook your build when I was going through the thread yesterday. Your Easter home makes me think of a bag of jellybeans! Some are brightly colored, some lighter but they bring smiles to faces as favorite colors & flavors are grabbed. The entryway with all the flower pots is pretty as is the girl's nursery. Your use of plants and rugs brightens up the space and makes me think of bunnies, which is the point. LOL

Thanks @ADWilson at first I thought it was to much color but I was like that's the exact point right

Thank you for the autograph. Ah, right this way, ma’am, you’re expected.”
    “It was my pleasure.”
The voices drifting through your partially open door alert you that your next client is here and you look up from the monitor in time to see a stylishly dressed young woman stepping inside, casually placing her hand on Rose's arm as she passed her.
You recognize her as the well-known celebrity Diana Grace, and can’t blame Rose for her startruck reaction. It’s taking an effort to keep your own jaw from dropping to find yourself in the presence of such a famous person. Determinedly, you remember your job and greet her. “Hello and welcome, Ms. Grace. We’re honored that you’ve chosen us to build your perfect home.”
She smiles pleasantly at you. “You come highly recommended. I’m sure you’ll be able to meet my needs.”
“We’ll definitely do our best.” You catch sight of Rose still standing in the doorway, watching with obvious awe. “Rose, don’t you have something to do? I think I hear the phone.”
“What? Oh, right, I’ll just ah, go answer that…” Rose nearly trips over her own feet on her way out but manages to recover herself.
“Now where were we...Oh yes, what did you have in mind? Something sleek and contemporary, perhaps?”
Diana seems amused but not bothered at all by Rose’s reaction. “Oh, no, I’m looking for cozy, comfortable and perhaps a touch rustic. I want it to be my own little kingdom out in the country. I have many friends who like to visit, and will need at least a couple of rooms for them to stay overnight. A guest bath or two as well.”
You nod, noting it all down. “Anything else?”
“I need a pool, of course, Space for entertaining both inside and out is a must.”
“Do you have a color preference?”
“I enjoy bright, cheerful colors, but not painfully bright, and soft fabrics. Neutrals are fine as accent colors.” She smiles again, dazzling you so you have to blink and bring your mind back to the task at hand.
    “And your budget?”
    “Will 80,000 be enough?”
“That should be plenty. Let me see you out.” You rise to escort her to the door, pretending not to notice Rose quickly turning back to her desk and tapping furiously away at her computer.

    The Brief:
    Budget: 80,000
Requires at least three bedrooms and 2 baths.
    Requires a pool
Requires space for entertaining, both inside and out.

    Optional Challenge:
Create Diana Grace and show her various outfits. Be sure to tell us about her likes and traits. Note: Late Night and Showtime are not required for this challenge.

The deadline for this challenge is Sunday, 31st May, 2020, no later than 12:59:59PM EST/New York Time.

My apologies, everyone. I guess I was more exhausted than I thought when I posted this challenge. It should be corrected.

Lol No room challenge in Sims 3--we can do a Sim challenge of creating Ms. Diana Grace and showing all her clothes as well as giving all her likes, traits, etc. Show her in her new home.
**By the way, this is challenge 226 everyone.**

Thanks so much for listing and doing this month's challenge!

Welcome and congrats to the new judges! Thanks also to the existing team members who write and develop the creative briefs and handle other tasks. While I may not join in much, I do appreciate this thread helping to keep our forum community alive. Best wishes!

(This budget was brutal! LOL I mean, it wasn't really, but it was hard to make a celebrity getaway with all the bells and whistles I wanted to add and keep to that cost)

OFFICIAL ENTRY FORM #226 - Starstruck
    NAME: creativemetaphor
LINK TO LOT: Cedarview Cabin - no cc
    LINK TO MEDIA: Cedarview Cabin
OPTIONAL CHALLENGE: n/a (ignore the tester/upgrader sims)
    LEVEL: advanced
LOT SIZE, ADDRESS & FINAL COST: 30x40, replaces empty 40x40 lot on Ruby Ave in Hidden Springs, Final cost 79,988
    LOT DESCRIPTION & DETAILS:
Falling firmly on the rustic-end of "a touch", this cabin is a cozy, relaxing retreat for Ms Grace and her guests. Three bedrooms, 2 1/2 baths, two fireplaces, a large kitchen and ample dining (seating) options.

There is a high fence around most of the lot for privacy, with railings at the rear to allow for appreciating the view. The living room bay window extends slightly over the large pool. Lounge chairs and the juice bar are situated under a trellis. Indoor record player and outdoor speakers for music or dancing. A fire pit, grill, and hot tub round out the outdoor activities, with access to the open back lawn.

The large double swing barn 'doors' off the dining room offer a sense of bringing the outdoors in and help to join the entertaining areas together. The landscaping suits the world and adds to the rustic feel.
