For Halsey, yes, it's more pop than punk. I would call that pop. Pop punk has more rock elements to it. ๐
Do you know how to play the violin?
Gonna have to scratch my head on that song. Good song, excellent video...but where was even a single molecule of punk? I didn't hear it and I listened for it the whole way through. It was melodically, harmonically, rhythmically...really similar to some of Green Day's softer pieces. "Alternative" maybe because it wasn't classic Rock, but somehow for something to sound at all punk to me, it has to have some harder or faster element, and that had an easy, swingy, soft-n-gentle sound throughout. Now I have no idea what pop punk is or isn't. I'll have to defer to your determination on that because I'm lost.
That's what pop punk is but maybe it's just Simple Plan that is a tad bit lighter. Pop punk is different from 'punk' punk like The Ramones or Rancid.
I don't have just one channel I watch most, since I kind of browse from a bunch of music, makeup tutorials, play throughs etc. But I guess CrashCourse? Nerdy, I know ๐ค
I'll watch it when I get my headphones (guess I forgot to have them with me again ๐). Is this also the same band you said you have been anticipating a new song from since they're new?

A habit of yours?
I've never heard of Crash Course before.
Yep, it's that band. ๐
I don't even know if I have a habit... ๐ Maybe headbanging to songs too much?
I make up a story. Strangely enough, my dreams can coincide with the story sometimes.
It's a history/science channel that explains things in a super fun way. Plus, John Green hosts it. ๐ And I don't think I remember head-banging to songs myself, so I think that counts!
Do you ever get that feeling when you wake up a little earlier that you just need to hold that moment and pause before you face life again?
