How lovely @Sandraelle ! It is perfect with its heather, ivy, and outdoor patio with tree. I love the brick, the wood, and the floors. And, yeah the parking lot would probably be best.
Thank you so much @ciane! And I like how your parking lot turned out.
This is a 1 bedroom Late Night type of apartment on the 3rd floor of the Dim Sum Palace restaurant. There's also a bookstore, art shop, and music store (all fake) for an artsy type of Sim to practice their skills without leaving home .
I'm just testing the lot right now and will upload soon.
@fxchrfxchr, your residential build for the Chinatown area looks fantastic! Great choice of colors, textures and patterns. Great job and glad you joined in!
Giovanni’s is perfect @Sandraelle ! Love the warm rustic ambiance of the interior and it all looks so authentic. Another great addition to the world. Links added to page 1. Well done!
@soocoolsim, Thanks Paula! I was going for authentic and rustic so I'm glad you like!
Sorry for your CC issues @seaben - hope you can get it sorted out ok.
@soocoolsim, WOW (with mouth hanging open in amazement)!! The details in your Notre Dame cathedral and the things you've used to make this building so authentic is totally amazing and breathtaking! What a lot of work you've put into this build. Your cemetery looks great too! Can't wait to look closer at the details when it's in game.
@ @Sandraelle , Giovanni's is such an authentic and awesome looking pizzeria. I can't wait to send my sims to sample the delizie culinarie in such beautiful surroundings.
Thank you very much @Hidehi! I was going for authentic based on inspiration pics I saw, so glad you think so!
Wow, lots of great new lots! I love them all. @Sandraelle Your pizzeria is wonderful - I'd go there tonight for dinner if it were open and sit near the fountain! I especially loved that area, and the outdoor areas. My sims are thankful that I don't use the vector mod, and they can still go.
LOL @suzses, hope your simmies enjoy it.....And thank you for your nice comments. If I could go to my restaurant, I think I'd eat outside looking at the canals, lol. (BTW, that inspiration picture you found is gorgeous for your next Paris apartment.)
@seaben - For the ones without names, try to google to see what item they are. For the ones that tell you what the items are, save the CASt texture and then delete the item to replace with the store content that hopefully has a store icon on it rather than the cc icon.
cut and paste form my Sims 3 feed:
Hope everyone is doing alright and hanging in there. Sorry, I been MIA had a friend pass away right before the covid19 stuff. This friend was the one who saved my computer twice when it died the past 4 years and built my new one in December (all with being Sims 3 friendly (extra cooling stuff, memory etc.)). So I find it hard to even open sims atm.
So, sorry to basically Houdini on you guys. Hope you guys are doing well.
@HollownessDevour It is so hard to lose a friend, especially such a special one who has been there for you and supported your creativity, I am so very sorry. Please take care of yourself and take as much time as you need. We all love you!
i don't know what was causing those two package files to show up in my lot because i uninstalled everything except monte vista the green house and the business as usual bistro and nothing got replaced but the package files went away here is the restaurant/abroetum without those files https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=9373948 and i will now check my corner shops

Hmm @seaben ... when I run custard cleaner on your new file it is still showing 9 CC packages... (the ones I've unchecked). Did you upload the correct one?
* * * * * * * * * * Let’s keep in touch on Answers HQ until the new EA forums are launched in July!
@soocoosim i uploaded the right one and i did use 9 store contents when i scanned it it showed 9 store contents see
it shouldn't have any problems because all of my store content is pack files and i only have store content
But it shouldn't show the store content @seaben. It's probably that you had them as package files first and didn't swap them out with the sims3pack. You'll have to delete each of them and grab the actual sims 3 pack version for them.
@seaben -
Did you move out your package files from your mods file and delete the CASpart, compositor, and script cache.files?
Did you move out all the files from your dcBackup folder EXCEPT ccmerged?
Did you move out the savedSim and library folders?
Did you move out all the .ebc files and look at what was left in your launcher? (Then put your .ebc files back in the dcCache folder again.)
If you have no cc installed, and load your game without the old caches, there should be NO cc.
If you have no cc, you can rename your old lot. Try putting it in the bin and placing it again. Grab the parts that are showing as cc and see if they have a store icon.
If they have the store icon and you have moved out all cc, the files should not show up in CUSTARD when you share it again.
One other question for you... do the items show a store icon or a cc icon?
Sometimes when I've installed venues, the content installed into a .dbc file instead of an .ebc file.
@ciane my store content is installing into .dbc files after trying everything you said to do what did you do to fix this issue when it happened to you?
@seaben - I reinstall into a brand new sims 3 folder. It should just be venues that are a problem.
It doesn't always happen that a .dbc file is created. Sometimes you get lucky and it installs into an .ebc file as it should. So just reinstall the venues affected into a fresh sims 3 folder and then change the number on the end of the files to follow your other ones sequentially and move them into your old sims 3 folder.
It is also possible to download some of that content from the venue without downloading the whole venue. @Valgon57 has had help isolating the exact number to type directly in to the url. Then you can copy over the newly created files into your old sims 3 folder. I'll see if I can find a link to that thread.
I hope this works for you. I have it bookmarked.
Download his awesome work and you'll have all the individual item links for things in the venues.
So, if they don't install into .ebc files for you in a brand new sims 3 folder, you can create another brand new sims 3 folder and download the individual files.
Thank you to everyone for your kind comments regarding my lot I am humbled by the quality of the lots you folks have created and am honoured to be able to contribute.
So, testing went well. Routing seems okay - the only "issue", for me anyways, is that the newspaper is delivered at the back of the lot in spite of my setting the front of the lot as the front.
My first attempt to upload to the exchange failed . So, as suggested by Crinrict, I cleared the DCBackup, re-exported, and this time it worked. The only difference is that I had changed the images to custom ones in the first but not the second. Would that have prevented uploading?
@fxchrfxchr - Changing the images shouldn't have affected the upload unless your image sizes made the upload over 10Mb. Sometimes the launcher just has problems and doing some things, like you did, will help it out. Keeping the launcher as clear as possible helps, so I often move out screenshots and old exports too. Nice job on your upload and we look forward to you tackling another.
I can't fix the store contents @ciane at this point there are two options I could leave the lots the way they are and downloaders could place the store items or I could try and figure out how to convert them to not contain store content 😞😞😞😞😞
It should just be a matter of installing the store items listed into a fresh Sims 3 folder, renumbering the dccache .ebc file that is created, and copying that file into your old sims 3 folder; but ... I know sometimes things are just don't work out as we'd like. Sorry @seaben.
I've just finished upgrading the Anchor, so I should be able to upload it this weekend. All I have left to build in London in bar#2. I'm guessing that lot next to city hall that is labelled as a dance club in game is bar#2. It not, just redirect me. I'm thinking of doing two floors maybe for the bar and dance club, and then having an apartment over that.
The long flat should also be able to upload this weekend as it's been finished for awhile and just been my tester's home. I furnished only the outdoors on one end, but I furnished the basement apartment too. So for this upload, I've hidden the basement and all other apartments.
I also have the Winter festival lot done, but it's only summer in my game; so It'll take a lot longer to test out the winter fest and get pics of it. However, I can upload it earlier if @jessabeans is getting close to another world update.
@ciane do you now how to to use testingcheatsenabled true to change the weather you press control shift c all at the same time and type in testingcheatsenabled true and then shift click the ground and there will be options to manipulate the weather

I hope everyone stays safe and well.
Very nice lot indeed @fxchrfxchr . I've added the link to your download on page 1. Well done!
If you would like to do another Chinatown lot... I had claimed Chinatown community lot #2 30x30 which you are welcome to have if interested. I'll be busy for the next while with a DNA claim and my Disney Paris resort and can always circle back later on other available lots.
PS: I usually resize my pics to 500x500 pixels before replacing the defaults which makes a huge difference to the file size.

@romagi1, Thank you Rox! I think that may be the first time I've actually used some of those wall patterns, believe it not. Haha
