I know you weren't directing it at me specifically, but you said 'anyone' and I'm part of anyone. But your response was you weren't asking me, which is why I told you to make it explicit next time. 💁♀️
Used to work at a vet clinic. The owner of the clinic had a cougar "Big Kitty" had been surrendered by his owner due to legal issues. Unfortunately, since he was already domesticated, he wouldn't be able to be returned to the wild. No zoos would take him, so he ended up at our vet clinic. So cool to pet a mountain lion!
There was also "Jimmy" the monkey! He was a little spider monkey, who for some reason didn't like men! Needless to say, I didn't pet Jimmy!
Also we had a client who brought in a bobcat (full blooded bobcat) ! While the doctor had the cat asleep (for a teeth cleaning) I got the chance to pet him!
Went grocery shopping and did some social distancing. Hard to keep a 2m distance in a supermarket when people are standing in line at the cashier.
I went to the store today too. They only let 15 people in at a time, and they put tape on the floors to give people the idea on how far they should stand away from each other. Still, I was waiting in the marked-out line (we were spread out) and a lady came right up to me and asked if I was waiting in line. That made me feel a little nervous.
The toilet paper's coming back now, and there was a bunch of ground chicken and beef 30% off. Stuff all gone at my grocery store includes
Red Rose Tea (I bought Morse's this time. I wanted to try something new anyway)
Cornmeal (seriously? I thought I was the only one who bought this stuff. I wanted to have more for polenta but I'll wait a bit longer)
Powdered milk
Certain potato chip/snack bags. Particularly Humpy Dumpy Original Party Mix and Cheese Puffs. But those always sell out regardless. They're very popular here.
A certain brand of bread. Much of the others is fully-stocked.
Flour. I'm glad I got some already, but I would've liked to buy another bag. I'm sure it'll be back soon enough.
Most of the rice, except the giant bags.
Much of the dried beans and lentils.
I'm sure there was actually more, but that's what I saw today and what I saw the last time I was there.
