I added a few more chapters, well really just broke up some long ones. It's looking like this story will be about 22 or 23 chapters. I like shorter chapters, so I'm trying to keep my chapters between 800-1200 words, it seems like a natural stopping point for my writing. And I also discovered some of my edits were not saving in Wordpress, so now I have to go back and re-fix my typos and bad grammar, sorry about that. Anyway, hope you enjoy the next chapter.

@15aewar I know they're not technically part of the sims lore, but I took the idea from aliens being able to switch their disguises, and figured why not? If there are all these other supernaturals in the sims, why not shifters?

Yeah, it's really neat. Vampires and mermaids can do it, too. There's a lot of potential there!
@mercuryfoam I'm glad I got this out at a good time. Right now, I have a very loose deadline of Wednesdays and Sundays, anytime before 7 pm US CST, but that might change in the future.
Sorry everyone for no updates. I think I will take a break this week as I haven't been feeling well. I think I just need some time to rest and recuperate this week. I left the last chapter on a bit of a cliffhanger, so thanks for being patient.

I'm back! Here's the next chapter. We're getting closer to the end, and I'm trying to give all the minor characters some much-needed screen time. Gibbs and Soto make an appearance in this chapter as well as Barnes.
Alright, we're almost done with Story 1. Just the epilogue after this chapter, which will hopefully tie up some loose ends. I'm hoping this chapter doesn't feel rushed, and that it makes sense.

@15aewar Thank you! I was really worried I had too many plot twists and cliffhangers. They're so much fun to write, I can't help myself. The next story, I probably won't have as many twists, I think I outdid myself in this first story, LOL. But who knows, these ideas usually come to me when I least expect it.
