Doesn't matter. In TS2 when a female sim becomes visibly pregnant the overriding outfit is the maternity one. Remains that way until baby is delivered. That is a difficult, even sometimes dangerous, time for woman. So, EA, how about some respect for the ladies? 1 proper outfits for the occasion, 2 immunity from your sick sense of humor regarding attire for unplayed sims.
took my sims out to a restaraunt and spotted this guy
I like how the lady is trying to defy physics and go through the table just to avoid the fashion reject in the Mr. Rodgers Sweater, Acid Wash Jeans, & 80's Aviator Sunglasses.
What a fun thread to look through.
I think most outfits would actually look nice and normal without the glasses, hats, rings, bracelets and socks. I personally would prefer if they just disabled accessoires for townies.
While I adore this thread so much I'll never understand why they don't have townies wear the styled looks. That way they'll at least look somewhat put together...

What the???
One of my politician Sims leaves the apartment in San Myshuno to go tip someone singing on the street. I get down there, an elder bobbing up and down in that outfit singing, "Lalala-lala... Lalala-lala..."
This made me laugh too much!
It's the color of the shoes. I see this sort of thing IRL way too often. Nowadays people just don't care how they look, so the devs just shove the common attitude to the absurd extreme. Or maybe that's how people in CA look these days.

I agree. I was going to say the same thing. Nothing wrong with the outfit.
Actually, that's awesome! Reminds me of college/university! You should see how they dressed in my mother and dad's college/university days in the 1960's!
@AlbaWaterhouse For random Townies, that's not bad for 'fashion'.
Lily Feng is not really a townie though, a custom built character for San Myshuno in 'City Living'. Although I haven't played her as a PC, I did modify her outfits a bit.

This one came to my front door, never met her, no clue who she is.
And I guess even aliens have trouble color matching.
I love MCCC, cant count how many on the spot make overs I've done

Found this one in Newcrest.

Neither does this:
What the heck....
Looks like a satisfied customer to me.

"Carry on! Left, right, left, right..."
EDIT: Needless to say, he got deleted quickly.
Let's start with the heat wave!
Lily Feng had such a confident attitude in her outfit!
Everyone knows that there's nothing better to fight heat than gloves!
And now, the Spice Festival:
Everyone was running left and right for some reason

The outfit is "interesting" choice. The stilettos is the funniest part though, imo!
