To the OP, these are the mods I'm usign rn:

    - Meaningful Stories (roBurky) - best modever :)

    By Kawaii Stacie:
    - Education System
    - Hotel Resort Mod
    - Sleepover
    - Basic Event Bundle
    - Graveyard Mod
    - Life Decider Mod
    - Residential History
    - Traits Bundle
    - Also, sometimes, Slice of Life but I have to find an updated version. I do tend to delete most of this mod though but I love its memory system. Really wish we had memories like that hardcoded into the game.

Not using right now, but might reinstall soon:
    - MCCC

Sacraficial’s Life’s Tragedies is great for adding in a whole bunch of random events, some even deadly, to the game. My sim was throwing a new years eve party when an armed robber came and everyone freaked out.

LittleMissSam has a mod called “more away actions,” this is useful for inactive sims, you can get them to do plenty more things compared to the standard set of away actions. She also has a mod called “More Holiday Icons,” this adds plenty more holiday icons.

Zurbu has two mods I really like, “More Club Icons,” which adds more club icons, and the “Simology Mod Pack,” this adds the ability to select what actions have what effect on your sims, for example I can set it so my sim gets bored when they play video games, or get angry when working out, etc.

Weerbesu has two mods I like to use, “Improved Autonomy during Loading Screens,” and “No Empty Venues,” this makes loading into a public lot a lot more interesting as sims will be loaded in already doing things as opposed to just standing at the front of the lot.

TwistedMexi TOOL mod is great for adding objects into the worlds themselves. I like to add the Get Together bushes into the base game worlds so my cats and dogs have areas to explore. I also like to use it to add swings and such to parks in the world, it’s great for whatever else you see fit to add into the world, like basket ball nets, toddler playground equipment, extra decor, etc.

NoelleBelleFluer has base game work from home mods, I like the work from home option, so this adds it to base game careers, the criminal one is broken though, but every other one seems to work just fine.

I know its a lot, I’m kind of obsessed with mods, they really are a game changer.

In addition to this one by LittleMsSam, KawaiiStacie's Explore mod adds a ton of extra away actions including shopping, jobs, vacations and skills classes - I use it quite a bit.

I think I need to try the mod. Sims mourning actually makes them feel more human and less like robots

I actually like that they mourn for their loved ones for a longer time. It seems more human for them to not just forget about it after a few hours or a day. The family I'm playing now just lost one of their beloved cats and they are in mourning for four days according to the moodlet. It just seems way more realistic to me and it's why Meaningful Stories has become my absolute favourite mod to play with.

Did you guys know, within the MC Command Centre mod you can enable autonomous proposals..

so your sim will no longer have to be the one proposing to their boyfriend/girlfriend..they may actually propose to your sims :open_mouth:

I've had this enabled for ages (years) but I've only ever had one autonomous proposal...

I didn't know either. I've enabled it now.

Is it weird that with everything MC Command Center does, maybe my favorite thing is to turn off the phone. I mean completely turn it off, no incoming calls, texts, anything. My sims can finally sleep through the night :D

I've just discovered one that I'm completely in love with... Automatic beards...with shaving and trimming options. It adds a lovely little bit of realism that makes me sooo happy. On Mod The Sims :)

There are a lot of good mods here: https://scarletsmods.com/mods/ that I use in my game. Also: https://littlemssam.tumblr.com/ has a ton.

Does anyone feel intimidated by some of these mods? Some I would like to try but I am doing research first.

Does anyone know if the SrslySim - Cooking Overhaul, that uses additional custom plants is compatible with All Year Plants by Scarlet? Cooking Overhaul mod looks complicated. It does a lot and I have questions before I install it. Saving this one for a new save file. I don't want anything to mess up my current save.

I downloaded the Automatic Beards mod but did not put it in my game yet. Does anyone know what happens if your Sim already has a beard. Do I edit my sim in cas and remove his beard first or what?

I was so happy when I saw these. I didn't vote for most of the ones that were chosen. :D

There is a mod conflict detector tool too: https://ts4-package-conflict-detector.software.informer.com/1.9/

Also good tool just to organize CC and you may need to use chrome to translate it since it is in French:
    https://luniversims.com/files/file/73-sims-4-tray-importer/

    Some other cool mods:

Also make sure you have a virus and malware protector whenever downloading any CC or mods. Modthesims has prescreen mods/CCs, so won't have viruses attached to their files.

Oops. I put this in the wrong thread. Sorry to derail.

@KiniHokulani @Scobre Thank you both for help and guidance. I will check out the mod conflict detector. I am a longtime player and have used functional mods in past versions of the game. I have been using MCC since it came out and just now slowly fleshing out The Sims 4 with mods. Modding sure has come a long way. I am excited! It's almost like getting a new stuff pack. lol Thanks Again!

I also have Britpinkie's more events mods... but I don't think they work anymore.

Does the mod conflict detector only work with PCs?

Btw, just wanted to say that I'm in love with the new Myers Briggs aspects in the Slice of Life mod :D Kinda wish they'd add this to base game as it reminds me a ton of horoscopes :D
