If I can't simply remove that one file, I'll remove the entire module and hope some of the fun doesn't leave with it. Thank you for the mention. I'm very protective of my Sims, but most especially of my Ancestors, of which John and Sarah Jane are. Without them, I wouldn't be here. It's a direct line.

As for my sweet guys ❤️ I can only say that Thorne has referred to his "plan" numerous times, and it never sounded like it would end well for Don. Even the last line of part 2 in that update is a warning. It says "Thorne seemed to find him irritable"
Big hints at the end of Thorne's talk with Dash, especially when he gets back to Don and talks to him. Also Thorne's thoughts when he's gone on his trip, and his happiness that he will "at least" be able to take Don to Hawaii. Then there's the times when he's glad that the home he bought for them was out in the middle of nowhere. Plus, if you examine his need for Don to say he loves him, you realize that it was important so that he knew it would hurt Don if he left him. With Don's non-committal issues it may not have hurt Don at all if Thorne left him. Once he knew that Don loved him, his way was clear. He had to stay with him at the new house for so long so that he could make sure that Don became completely dependant on Thorne for every need. Even his thoughts about how he'd have given up trying to repair the broken relationship (that he and Don had after Thorne threatened him) with anyone else but Don. All of it ... everything that Thorne did - was leading to that moment. 😣 There is probably a hint in every Thorne and Don chapter.

My son does not recover, no matter what we try, but there is so much in the discription of C-PTSD that my son has, it's scary. One of the main things being the disassociation, which has been getting worse and worse. He's been treated for PTSD and psychotic depression. Neither treatment worked.
I've been clicking around on the page you linked, and I'll definitely be looking into it more. If there is a person in our area that treats this, dear God, maybe he will recover!

Yeah, that's why some of my sims have the "Always Welcome" reward. Only 500 points needed for the reward. I dont abuse it and do stuff in an acquaintances house. But if my sim is over at their best friends house, they wont get yelled at for repairing a broken appliance, cooking on the grill at a get together, or crashing on the couch or spare bed for an overnight visit, etc.
I spend the majority of my time playing Sims, organizing their screenshots, writing stories and comments for this thread, writing stories for my blog, and building in the game. Basically I don't do anything else. Which is bad, very very bad, because while I'm not really actively trying to get ready for success in my future, I should be doing more to sort and pack for my inevitable move to a condo, working on treatment for my son and spending more time keeping up with my grandchildren. These are all much more important than Sims, yet I can't seem to do it. Guilt does not keep me awake though, I'm to busy doing all the Sims things I mentioned. At any rate, if you discover a way to become more "productive" please share! Because I can't!!
Anyway, your flashback update. You'd explained how Nick chose Tony as "his" star before. But it was cool to see it in action. Especially to hear his dad explain why the headlining child would not be the one he was looking for.
And when Nick saw Tony and knew he was the one, that was cool.
I've seen a Lot of little kid's and middle school kid's plays (ages 4 to 13) but one of my children were always in them, so I admit I've never had the experience of noticing one special child that always drew my eyes back.
Although, I wouldn't have been looking at them like a talent agent either. I have a tendency to watch the headlining singers, because Wow! We have some great ones in our town. Not mine 😉 Mine are good actors, but can't sing at all.
My oldest son got the understudy role for a lead role in Guys and Dolls in middle school, which meant he got to play the lead at the last performance on Sunday.
He is so bad at singing that they had him kind of speak the words of the song, while the actual lead sang the song standing a bit behind him in a dim spotlight (they weren't trying to pretend that it was my son singing, lol)
Anyway .... 😅 Back to Tony. It was the back screen story that has been unexplored before that was the most revealing.
Tony never expected to even be looked at for the role. He was just happy to be around Lucas. It was interesting to hear that he'd memorized the scenes by heart. I'll bet he knew every line of every scene.
But Lucas didn't even know his name. Or at least he pretended not to 🤔 You get the feeling that Tony was as rejected as Peter was when he was a child. Perhaps that's why they connected so well.
It was cute how you used childish speech and behavior for the kids. And it never ceases to amaze me that people who don't speak English as their first language seem to know all the little sayings and silly songs and actions that we have here. It's crazy!

Since getting engaged, April and Mia have been talking a lot about their future. While they love their tiny house, they decided it was time live larger. With all the royalities and money April makes from her writing career, the couple was able to expand their house into a 3 story, 5 bedroom, 4 bath unintentional modern monstrosity complete with an indoor pool (my bad).
Mia also got a promotion at work, from GP to Medical Specialist. She decided to focus on Sports Medicine.
She's also been branching out into writing non-fiction medically based books. Infact...
She won a Starlight Accolade award for her book Get Fit: With Science.
Since im on my phone again and I cant go back and forth ill answer backwards. @AlwaysAsking oh yeah imagine a bullet and put Dons name on it as he zoomed through what he needed. Yes Robertson as i dislike the name without the "son" Iggy is gonna have a ball with it. Yes more is coming for them perhaps an update that is too long we shall see.

Tiffani is a trip! Wow. I don't think I've ever played an evil sim for long, except Malcolm. And Peony kept him in line with no problems whatsoever 😄 And then he aged up with all those positive traits and it's hard for him to be evil now, lol.

The club activities interest me. She doesn't have the klepto trait, right? But she does it because it's a club activity. I have romance with one other club set for two teen clubs in my game, and I was using my controlled sim, obviously, when I noticed two of the other kids kissing each other for real, like not on the cheek or anything, and they'd never met before, because I'd just put the girl in the game (I wasn't controlling either of these kids) My point being, they never had a first kiss, I don't have autonomy for that, but they could kiss. I meant to go in and play as one of them to see if they'd still need a first kiss interaction as the played Sim, but I forgot to, lol.
Lol, I didn't click on the Simpson's song because it would have been in my head for days. I love that song. Yes, it went well with her club.

Max's behavior was totally unbelievable that day 😯😮😳 Your game is the most sentient game I've ever heard of! Honestly! I don't know what else could have been going on besides him worrying about Viktor. I mean really, I've never played him, but I've seen him in the thread, and he seems to have no redeeming qualities at all. Not like Wolfgang.
But he can't manage to be evil at all! And cloud gazing? Really? Really? Just how much can this game do? It's shocking! I'm glad that Viktor went to him to try to make him feel better. I mean, he did, but for how long? Only while he was with him. Idk how this is going to work. Viktor will have to move in with him (or vice versa) in order to quell his fears, but that will be a very unhealthy relationship 😯😣
The Diego moment is the same. He was still there when you switched back, and obviously wanted to be able to clean Jessica's tile. So cool! Of course that classy pose was the best part 😅 Poser, yes, that's the right word.

As for hitting the pause button fast enough, I never take my finger off of it. I press it on, press it off, just as quick as you just read that, lol. And if I see I've caught something good I have to pan all over to find the best angle. It takes Forever!!! But hey, you can get good shots. 😉

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting the shots you want.
I have two pieces of advice, if it's not too late, and you haven't done a ton of screenshots in the current apartment, use the same color scheme and furniture in a bigger one. As readers we really won't notice as you change over because we aren't seeing the big picture like you are. And so far we've only seen his introduction update 😊
The other one being, do you use the emotion paintings? They are invaluable to me for my Ian and Lawrence stories. Lawrence needs to appear sad fairly often, but he's never sad when he's with Ian, unless other men are hitting on him lol.
So I have to have him look at sad paintings to get any decent shots. The angry paintings work great, but I find that a lot of regular interactions can make them look mad, so I don't use them that much.
I don't know what shots you are looking for, but level 9 emotion paintings can get your what you need, no problem.
You can find them in the gallery too. Jasper has painted a level 9 in every category except sad, so I had to get one from the gallery.
Oh, actually I do have one more idea. The simrays from the scientist career can cause a panic reaction, and that can be helpful too. I can't remember if Sims who haven't been scientists can use them or not though.

Ok guys! My Romeo and Juliet post will be up soon but I have a few questions as they are a few sim days away from aging up.
Question 1: Should they have a house in a warmer city or one where it snows? They will have a tiny house with a lot of outdoor features to save space.
Question 2: What should they name their baby if it's a boy? They will name it Calla for a girl (Juliet's moms name was Lily). I like Easton, Deacon or Atticus if that gives you a good idea of names.
Question 3: In the future I will have them marry (obviously haha), but I'm trying to figure when they should get engaged and married.
Engaged as teenagers, after the child is born and then married right after their YA birthday but before school.
Engaged at YA birthday and married after graduation.
Engaged at graduation and married after they are established in their careers.
Also should they have a wedding or an elopement?

@AlwaysAsking Wow! That update was intense. I know Don deserves it but I feel bad for him. I do really wanna see the baby when Don has it. I hope Don learns his lesson, I think he has. Thorne is kind of harsh. Maybe he went too far? I mean for him to trick Don like that for so long, but didn't he say at one point that he and Don were both monsters or something to that extent? It does make for a really good story though. Keep writing please!

I didn’t take many screenshots this play session, but Samuel did end up setting up a cooking and baking club. I designed a café as the hangout, which was pretty cool as the members would make stuff, bring it out and the customers would eat it! The other members are Samuel’s friend Lilliana Kealoha, and Summer Holiday from Willow Creek.
Amanda also got invited into Partihaus. She’d been invited to Discotheque Pan Europa by one of the club members, I forget who. She hadn’t particularly made friends with any of the other members, but she clearly made an impression!
Sorry for the delay guys but I wanted to wait until New Year's on the Sims. I didn't make it because I was packing my lunch for work tomorrow. There aren't many pictures of Romeo or Juliet but I think there's a couple.
Winterfest Fun! The Capulet family had a lot of fun on Winterfest and got a TON of gifts.
Of course Juliet had to invite Romeo.
The family went to the Spice Festival which happened the day after Winterfest.
Hermia was going through a phase so her father helped her out by being a bear haha
And yes Romeo was invited. Juliet spent hours talking to him outside, until around 3 am.

I think that if you're trying to stay true to the original Romeo and Juliet story in a way, that they should be in a warmer climate. As far as I know it doesn't snow much in Italy, except in the mountains. I'm totally saying this from memory - lol - of high school geography. Which I attended in the early 80's. I may have it wrong 😉
I Love the Calla / because of Lily name! So pretty! As far as boy's names, Idk if it matters to you but there's already a toddler named Atticus in a story in the thread, and an adult named Easton. I don't remember any Deacons. 😊

I think it would be cute if they got engaged as teens. The grown ups would think it meant nothing, but to them it's real.
For me the married before or after University is kind of a personal preference. But depending on if you have aging on, University can use up most of their young adult lives. So that's a consideration.

I do love how the internet connects people 😊 It's so much easier to get information and ideas now. You can talk to almost anyone in the world (ok - exaggeration lol) The trick is to find people with the right information.
My daughter in law never stopped searching for an answer to my granddaughter's condition, and it was pictures on the internet of children with Cohen's Syndrome that made her ask the genetic specialists to test her for it.
They initially refused, saying she didn't have enough of the symptoms. But let me tell you, she looks exactly like the kids who have it (well - the young kids). Certainly my D I L never would have found the syndrome back in my time, with libraries and encyclopedias 😅
I hope that your Ehlers -Danlos diagnosis has helped you with getting proper care. How can you treat something when you don't know what it is, right?

@AlwaysAsking I knew Thorne always had a plan and it never seemed to be looking good for Don but I didn't guess what or why. Thorne certainly had some good motivation though it sound like he feels a bit guilty that he didn't help his friends sister more at the time either. Don should have trusted his gut instincts about Thorne (I suppose being pregnant and sick didn't help much). How did you get everyone to look so miserable on Sulani? They really look quite sad. I have to say I loved Don's ugly pregnancy outfits LOL but he looked quite good in the Dad cardigan (and his pregnant body looked a bit like dad bod lol). I loved Thornes blue and purple trackpants (when he does the confident hand kiss) - what pack are they from? Ialways find there's swatches I've never used and they make the clothes look really nice. The house is quite magnificent - it looks like a cross between a swiss mountain house and an english stone cottage. I am interested to see if the Landgraabs will get involved (or even Dash) to help Don. It is pretty bad punishment to find out you have missed your daughter growing up (especially now you are mature enough to appreciate having a daughter). Though no where near what Alice went through. I also worry that Thorne is still underestimating Don - when he stops being sad he might use those brains (that go with the bigger vocab.) to think of a solution.

Yes Calkeb and Mina fussed autonomously - poor little Marquis was so sad but he is so good that he couldn't tantrum or fuss - I think he just didn't want to be in the highchair as he ate when I finally made them let him out. Yes Sergio hates kids - it is part of his generally charming personality. I wish I had a mod that made Caleb a little more dangerous LOL. He divorced Luna after getting her pregnant with twins and then another child in my Jess save. Poor Jade - she and Kendrick are trying A LOT. Jade already has 3 kids - my limit for unplayed sims with MCC so maybe it is having an issue even though it shouldn't affect played sims who can have as many as you choose. Tiffani's 2 traits are evil AND klepto - can't wait to see what her 3rd one becomes. I love playing an evil sim - it is heaps of fun doing all the terrible things and seeing all the other sims react in horror (or pleasure if you have an evil club). Malcolm was evil in the Minty game but he also fell in loive with Minty and his kids and stood up to Nancy and I really got stuck as to what to do with nice redeemed Malcolm as I wasn't expecting it. Max, on the other hand, is too broken I think - a very sad childhood leading to him having a twisted view of the world - even Lovely Viktor may be too late to help (and I really want to use ryttu3k s lovely sims with Viktor). I have not played Max - his actions are all his own. And Orange is going to regret meeting Tiffani eventually (she is as patient as Thorne) -plus he deserves it for bullying Koteyka's Peter.
What I did with Colton was very easy - I always do it when I want to control 2 sims at the same time but they aren't from the same household - I will put it in a spoiler and you can choose whether or not to look (like you tempted us with spoilers before - and I didn't look LOL
Basically , I moved Colton into Jade's household to shoot the scene - clicked bring Colton here (MCC let me pick his outfit and he has enough promotions to have unlocked the uniform as everyday wear) then they talked and travelled home. Then I swapped him back to his own household - it doesn't affect any relationships and lets you control a scene swapping control between two sims - mostly I like autonomy but I needed to "cheat" this one as there is no real being arrested in the game. I chose him because he does have friendly relationships with both Tiffani and Jade (If she was in real trouble I would send scary vampire detective LIlith)
@ChuChuExpress I use MCCto bring in 70% of my townies but I am always re-dressing the game generated 30% as well as all the children who are born to everyone. So I get happy when ever there are only a few fashion faux pas to fix.
@RedDestiny92 Loved Cassie and Yuki's wedding. That venue really suits Oasis Springs. Joaquin showing up pregnant was a shock for Candi wasn't it. They always look so funny pregnant though (doesn't stop me having pregnant males though). Poor Candi was looking so unhappy after that (even through the wedding). I hope things look up for her.

I had not been at Salim´s appartment before, so it was a bit of a bad surprise. No wonder that he is always hanging out at his friends or love interests places - I would too, if I were him.
I am trying to play each version of Morgyn a little differently and explore different routes he could have choosen, based on his traits. The first version prefers peaceful family life, second is an ambitious politican and third one became a criminal.

In my other save, Salim had two kids with Cassandra Goth and eventually went on to date his son´s ex-girlfriend (said son had by then came out as gay and started dating Lucas Munch), only for her to break up with him soon afterwards. Last I saw him, he was spending a lot of time with his now ex-girlfriend´s now ex-boyfriend (that she had dumped him for, but it did not work out either.) No idea where all of this is going
Salim is very nice, but not really a relationship material, if you are looking for someone dedicated. He would rather take a nap instead
I cheated and gave Ada the no jealousy reward trait, so she is not keeping secrets from anyone. Morgyn knows that she is sleeping with Salim, Salim knows that she is sleeping with Morgyn and both are cool with it. Salim gets to be the cool uncle with no real responsibilities, just as he prefers.

I am taking back everything I said about hoping that Don and Thorne would have a happy ending. After the last act Thorne pulled, I no longer wish anything good to him. Don may have his flaws - and not few - but Thorne´s level of gaslighting and manipulation is something else, especially over something Don didn´t even have a clue he had done while still very young. Is Nancy still a criminal in this save? Perhaps Don should ask Malcolm to ask a favor from his mom to, ahem, take care of Thorne. Sorry if I am being too evil to him, but plum, I was rooting for you, Thorne!
Morgyn woke up angry (someone has anger issues) and wasn´t really in the mood to talk about his feelings, his stomping was genuine. He and Ada actually made up before Lorelai was born, he was there when she got striken by lightning but I accidentally deleted the pic.
Ada had invited Morgyn in as an attempt to make friends with another spellcaster. Caleb came over, she opened the door to him and returned to kitchen where Morgyn was, the rest you know. It was the first time I have ever seen a sim autonomously start a fight with someone they had never met before.
No, you didn´t skip anything, it´s me who accidentally skipped a part of story. All you need to know is that Ada and Morgyn made up off-screen, are raising Lorelai together and have entered a friends-with-benefits relationship.
Truth to be told, I don´t know what happened to Morgyn´s money. I had moved Lorelai in with him for few days while Ada was wrapping up her schoolwork and then I moved her back in with Ada, somewhere along the way his money vanished. I could have cheated it back, but it made too good of a plot point to miss.
Morgyn is great, as long as you keep him away from Caleb. I am using a mod that makes relationships more meaningful, so he remembers that he hates Caleb and gets angry whenever he sees him. (I always hated how in unmodded game, it was basically impossible to make enemies, because all sims were coded to be nice to each other, even if their relationship was deep in red)
Salim loves his girlfriend, but not enough to put up with her full-time. Seeing her in every few days and getting to be a fun uncle with no real responsibilities is an ideal solution to him.

As for my sweet guys ❤️ I can only say that Thorne has referred to his "plan" numerous times, and it never sounded like it would end well for Don. Even the last line of part 2 in that update is a warning. It says "Thorne seemed to find him irritable"
Big hints at the end of Thorne's talk with Dash, especially when he gets back to Don and talks to him. Also Thorne's thoughts when he's gone on his trip, and his happiness that he will "at least" be able to take Don to Hawaii. Then there's the times when he's glad that the home he bought for them was out in the middle of nowhere. Plus, if you examine his need for Don to say he loves him, you realize that it was important so that he knew it would hurt Don if he left him. With Don's non-committal issues it may not have hurt Don at all if Thorne left him. Once he knew that Don loved him, his way was clear. He had to stay with him at the new house for so long so that he could make sure that Don became completely dependant on Thorne for every need. Even his thoughts about how he'd have given up trying to repair the broken relationship (that he and Don had after Thorne threatened him) with anyone else but Don. All of it ... everything that Thorne did - was leading to that moment. 😣 There is probably a hint in every Thorne and Don chapter.

Ok, well, "the powers that be" seem to have been working again. Because the link to the disorder you gave to Koyteka might be what I've been looking for.
My son does not recover, no matter what we try, but there is so much in the discription of C-PTSD that my son has, it's scary. One of the main things being the disassociation, which has been getting worse and worse. He's been treated for PTSD and psychotic depression. Neither treatment worked.
I've been clicking around on the page you linked, and I'll definitely be looking into it more. If there is a person in our area that treats this, dear God, maybe he will recover!

Yeah, that's why some of my sims have the "Always Welcome" reward. Only 500 points needed for the reward. I dont abuse it and do stuff in an acquaintances house. But if my sim is over at their best friends house, they wont get yelled at for repairing a broken appliance, cooking on the grill at a get together, or crashing on the couch or spare bed for an overnight visit, etc.

I spend the majority of my time playing Sims, organizing their screenshots, writing stories and comments for this thread, writing stories for my blog, and building in the game. Basically I don't do anything else. Which is bad, very very bad, because while I'm not really actively trying to get ready for success in my future, I should be doing more to sort and pack for my inevitable move to a condo, working on treatment for my son and spending more time keeping up with my grandchildren. These are all much more important than Sims, yet I can't seem to do it. Guilt does not keep me awake though, I'm to busy doing all the Sims things I mentioned. At any rate, if you discover a way to become more "productive" please share! Because I can't!!
Anyway, your flashback update. You'd explained how Nick chose Tony as "his" star before. But it was cool to see it in action. Especially to hear his dad explain why the headlining child would not be the one he was looking for.
And when Nick saw Tony and knew he was the one, that was cool.
I've seen a Lot of little kid's and middle school kid's plays (ages 4 to 13) but one of my children were always in them, so I admit I've never had the experience of noticing one special child that always drew my eyes back.
Although, I wouldn't have been looking at them like a talent agent either. I have a tendency to watch the headlining singers, because Wow! We have some great ones in our town. Not mine 😉 Mine are good actors, but can't sing at all.
My oldest son got the understudy role for a lead role in Guys and Dolls in middle school, which meant he got to play the lead at the last performance on Sunday.
He is so bad at singing that they had him kind of speak the words of the song, while the actual lead sang the song standing a bit behind him in a dim spotlight (they weren't trying to pretend that it was my son singing, lol)
Anyway .... 😅 Back to Tony. It was the back screen story that has been unexplored before that was the most revealing.
Tony never expected to even be looked at for the role. He was just happy to be around Lucas. It was interesting to hear that he'd memorized the scenes by heart. I'll bet he knew every line of every scene.
But Lucas didn't even know his name. Or at least he pretended not to 🤔 You get the feeling that Tony was as rejected as Peter was when he was a child. Perhaps that's why they connected so well.
It was cute how you used childish speech and behavior for the kids. And it never ceases to amaze me that people who don't speak English as their first language seem to know all the little sayings and silly songs and actions that we have here. It's crazy!
And I know and Love that song. I generally don't like slow songs at all, but I make an exception for that one 😊 My question is, why do you know it?

Since getting engaged, April and Mia have been talking a lot about their future. While they love their tiny house, they decided it was time live larger. With all the royalities and money April makes from her writing career, the couple was able to expand their house into a 3 story, 5 bedroom, 4 bath unintentional modern monstrosity complete with an indoor pool (my bad).
Mia also got a promotion at work, from GP to Medical Specialist. She decided to focus on Sports Medicine.
She's also been branching out into writing non-fiction medically based books. Infact...
She won a Starlight Accolade award for her book Get Fit: With Science.

Tiffani is a trip! Wow. I don't think I've ever played an evil sim for long, except Malcolm. And Peony kept him in line with no problems whatsoever 😄 And then he aged up with all those positive traits and it's hard for him to be evil now, lol.

The club activities interest me. She doesn't have the klepto trait, right? But she does it because it's a club activity. I have romance with one other club set for two teen clubs in my game, and I was using my controlled sim, obviously, when I noticed two of the other kids kissing each other for real, like not on the cheek or anything, and they'd never met before, because I'd just put the girl in the game (I wasn't controlling either of these kids) My point being, they never had a first kiss, I don't have autonomy for that, but they could kiss. I meant to go in and play as one of them to see if they'd still need a first kiss interaction as the played Sim, but I forgot to, lol.
Lol, I didn't click on the Simpson's song because it would have been in my head for days. I love that song. Yes, it went well with her club.

Max's behavior was totally unbelievable that day 😯😮😳 Your game is the most sentient game I've ever heard of! Honestly! I don't know what else could have been going on besides him worrying about Viktor. I mean really, I've never played him, but I've seen him in the thread, and he seems to have no redeeming qualities at all. Not like Wolfgang.
But he can't manage to be evil at all! And cloud gazing? Really? Really? Just how much can this game do? It's shocking! I'm glad that Viktor went to him to try to make him feel better. I mean, he did, but for how long? Only while he was with him. Idk how this is going to work. Viktor will have to move in with him (or vice versa) in order to quell his fears, but that will be a very unhealthy relationship 😯😣
The Diego moment is the same. He was still there when you switched back, and obviously wanted to be able to clean Jessica's tile. So cool! Of course that classy pose was the best part 😅 Poser, yes, that's the right word.

I'm sorry to hear that you're having trouble getting the shots you want.
I have two pieces of advice, if it's not too late, and you haven't done a ton of screenshots in the current apartment, use the same color scheme and furniture in a bigger one. As readers we really won't notice as you change over because we aren't seeing the big picture like you are. And so far we've only seen his introduction update 😊
The other one being, do you use the emotion paintings? They are invaluable to me for my Ian and Lawrence stories. Lawrence needs to appear sad fairly often, but he's never sad when he's with Ian, unless other men are hitting on him lol.
So I have to have him look at sad paintings to get any decent shots. The angry paintings work great, but I find that a lot of regular interactions can make them look mad, so I don't use them that much.
I don't know what shots you are looking for, but level 9 emotion paintings can get your what you need, no problem.
You can find them in the gallery too. Jasper has painted a level 9 in every category except sad, so I had to get one from the gallery.
Oh, actually I do have one more idea. The simrays from the scientist career can cause a panic reaction, and that can be helpful too. I can't remember if Sims who haven't been scientists can use them or not though.

Winterfest Fun! The Capulet family had a lot of fun on Winterfest and got a TON of gifts.
Of course Juliet had to invite Romeo.
The family went to the Spice Festival which happened the day after Winterfest.

I think that if you're trying to stay true to the original Romeo and Juliet story in a way, that they should be in a warmer climate. As far as I know it doesn't snow much in Italy, except in the mountains. I'm totally saying this from memory - lol - of high school geography. Which I attended in the early 80's. I may have it wrong 😉
I Love the Calla / because of Lily name! So pretty! As far as boy's names, Idk if it matters to you but there's already a toddler named Atticus in a story in the thread, and an adult named Easton. I don't remember any Deacons. 😊

I think it would be cute if they got engaged as teens. The grown ups would think it meant nothing, but to them it's real.
For me the married before or after University is kind of a personal preference. But depending on if you have aging on, University can use up most of their young adult lives. So that's a consideration.

I do love how the internet connects people 😊 It's so much easier to get information and ideas now. You can talk to almost anyone in the world (ok - exaggeration lol) The trick is to find people with the right information.
My daughter in law never stopped searching for an answer to my granddaughter's condition, and it was pictures on the internet of children with Cohen's Syndrome that made her ask the genetic specialists to test her for it.
They initially refused, saying she didn't have enough of the symptoms. But let me tell you, she looks exactly like the kids who have it (well - the young kids). Certainly my D I L never would have found the syndrome back in my time, with libraries and encyclopedias 😅
I hope that your Ehlers -Danlos diagnosis has helped you with getting proper care. How can you treat something when you don't know what it is, right?

@AlwaysAsking I knew Thorne always had a plan and it never seemed to be looking good for Don but I didn't guess what or why. Thorne certainly had some good motivation though it sound like he feels a bit guilty that he didn't help his friends sister more at the time either. Don should have trusted his gut instincts about Thorne (I suppose being pregnant and sick didn't help much). How did you get everyone to look so miserable on Sulani? They really look quite sad. I have to say I loved Don's ugly pregnancy outfits LOL but he looked quite good in the Dad cardigan (and his pregnant body looked a bit like dad bod lol). I loved Thornes blue and purple trackpants (when he does the confident hand kiss) - what pack are they from? Ialways find there's swatches I've never used and they make the clothes look really nice. The house is quite magnificent - it looks like a cross between a swiss mountain house and an english stone cottage. I am interested to see if the Landgraabs will get involved (or even Dash) to help Don. It is pretty bad punishment to find out you have missed your daughter growing up (especially now you are mature enough to appreciate having a daughter). Though no where near what Alice went through. I also worry that Thorne is still underestimating Don - when he stops being sad he might use those brains (that go with the bigger vocab.) to think of a solution.

What I did with Colton was very easy - I always do it when I want to control 2 sims at the same time but they aren't from the same household - I will put it in a spoiler and you can choose whether or not to look (like you tempted us with spoilers before - and I didn't look LOL
@ChuChuExpress I use MCCto bring in 70% of my townies but I am always re-dressing the game generated 30% as well as all the children who are born to everyone. So I get happy when ever there are only a few fashion faux pas to fix.
@RedDestiny92 Loved Cassie and Yuki's wedding. That venue really suits Oasis Springs. Joaquin showing up pregnant was a shock for Candi wasn't it. They always look so funny pregnant though (doesn't stop me having pregnant males though). Poor Candi was looking so unhappy after that (even through the wedding). I hope things look up for her.

I had not been at Salim´s appartment before, so it was a bit of a bad surprise. No wonder that he is always hanging out at his friends or love interests places - I would too, if I were him.
I am trying to play each version of Morgyn a little differently and explore different routes he could have choosen, based on his traits. The first version prefers peaceful family life, second is an ambitious politican and third one became a criminal.

In my other save, Salim had two kids with Cassandra Goth and eventually went on to date his son´s ex-girlfriend (said son had by then came out as gay and started dating Lucas Munch), only for her to break up with him soon afterwards. Last I saw him, he was spending a lot of time with his now ex-girlfriend´s now ex-boyfriend (that she had dumped him for, but it did not work out either.) No idea where all of this is going
Salim is very nice, but not really a relationship material, if you are looking for someone dedicated. He would rather take a nap instead
I cheated and gave Ada the no jealousy reward trait, so she is not keeping secrets from anyone. Morgyn knows that she is sleeping with Salim, Salim knows that she is sleeping with Morgyn and both are cool with it. Salim gets to be the cool uncle with no real responsibilities, just as he prefers.

I am taking back everything I said about hoping that Don and Thorne would have a happy ending. After the last act Thorne pulled, I no longer wish anything good to him. Don may have his flaws - and not few - but Thorne´s level of gaslighting and manipulation is something else, especially over something Don didn´t even have a clue he had done while still very young. Is Nancy still a criminal in this save? Perhaps Don should ask Malcolm to ask a favor from his mom to, ahem, take care of Thorne. Sorry if I am being too evil to him, but plum, I was rooting for you, Thorne!
Morgyn woke up angry (someone has anger issues) and wasn´t really in the mood to talk about his feelings, his stomping was genuine. He and Ada actually made up before Lorelai was born, he was there when she got striken by lightning but I accidentally deleted the pic.
Ada had invited Morgyn in as an attempt to make friends with another spellcaster. Caleb came over, she opened the door to him and returned to kitchen where Morgyn was, the rest you know. It was the first time I have ever seen a sim autonomously start a fight with someone they had never met before.
No, you didn´t skip anything, it´s me who accidentally skipped a part of story. All you need to know is that Ada and Morgyn made up off-screen, are raising Lorelai together and have entered a friends-with-benefits relationship.
Truth to be told, I don´t know what happened to Morgyn´s money. I had moved Lorelai in with him for few days while Ada was wrapping up her schoolwork and then I moved her back in with Ada, somewhere along the way his money vanished. I could have cheated it back, but it made too good of a plot point to miss.
Morgyn is great, as long as you keep him away from Caleb. I am using a mod that makes relationships more meaningful, so he remembers that he hates Caleb and gets angry whenever he sees him. (I always hated how in unmodded game, it was basically impossible to make enemies, because all sims were coded to be nice to each other, even if their relationship was deep in red)
Salim loves his girlfriend, but not enough to put up with her full-time. Seeing her in every few days and getting to be a fun uncle with no real responsibilities is an ideal solution to him.
