You just slide them under bulky things that are solid down to the floor, or nearly to the floor, like counters and dressers. You need to have MOO on, of course.

@60smusicluvr Yes, sims can still use them. I haven't seen any problems when doing it with counters and dressers. In some other cases, I've tried things that didn't work - maybe like trying to hide one behind something else in a corner but not being able to arrange it so the sim can route there - and that planter idea above (I really wanted that to work ).
It is great that you have uploaded Neoteric to the Exchange. It is a very lovely modern family home! Very stylishly nice design and furnishing of each room! It is very nice!
I've just had a very fun week participating in @ADWilson 's aMAYzing gift exchange. There were so many really nice gifts, including even an island world, a lot of nice houses and community lots, households, renovacy challenge setups/stories. If you haven't already, you should stop by the gifting thread ( https://forums.thesims.com/en_us/discussion/957762/sims-3-amayzing-gift-exchange-open-for-gifting/p1 ) and take a peek. The gifts start on pg. 38 (yes, we were chatty while we were making our gifts).
My buddy was @Mystik1978 for whom I made a few things she was interested in having for her game. They were built for Isla Paradiso where she's begun playing recently and included a farm (something she wanted to try out), a household for the farm, two community lots, and two houseboats.
A quick listing of her gifts from me:
~ The Culpepper Household ~
Backstory and description are on pg. 38 of gift exchange post linked above.
Time for me to catch up on your latest builds. Neoteric is such a lovely home. I love the way you decorate... so sleek and coordinated with just the right amount of clutter. Well done with your gift exchanges creations as well! 🤗🌟

Thank you, @soocoolsim I really appreciate your stopping by and your nice comments. I have some catching up to do, too, in this section. I've had my nose firmly planted in the gift exchange for the past month and am way behind on other things.
My buddy for the exchange was LMC6255, and I had fun making several gifts for her. Here's a quick rundown of what I made:
Chalet on Azure Lake
Link to the holiday-decorated version on the exchange: https://www.thesims3.com/assetDetail.html?assetId=9351630
(There are two other versions also in my studio. Just a note: Custard tags the sim-made photograph hanging in the dining room, I think because my photographer sim was credited for it in one of the collection categories. It doesn't tag the several other photos on the lot. There is a photo-free version in my studio if you prefer.)
I also shared some assorted sims in three households:
For more about them, I think it might be easiest to point you to my post in the gifting thread: An Assortment of Sims.
Exchange and picture links are all included there along with some other info about each sim.
@suzses , Really enjoyed looking through all your pictures of the items you made for the gift exchange. All so different and all so well done. I really like the looks of the Stargazer Restaurant and those townhouses look like they would fit in perfectly in Aurora Skies. Great job on everything you made for your buddy.
P.S. I wanted to thank you so much for sending me a gift. The basket looks really cute. I'm so sorry that I'm just now acknowledging it but I don't get on my MyPage very often and forget to check it. Thank you again and Merry Christmas to you and your family!
Just adding on my recent flurry of Build-N-Share activity. Last December (2018), we did a Santa's house and workshop build that I didn't upload at the time. It was finished too late, I thought, to be of much interest, and it also needed to be put on a larger, flat-around-the-edges lot so it wouldn't be a nightmare to place. So, I've finally uploaded it, along with the household I made for the optional challenge.
This year's December challenge was a tiny, individual home for Santa's helpers (as in 1 helper per 1 house) who I guess don't like their shared accomodations Ungrateful, aren't they? Mine is below.
so pleased @Jessabeans gave me the link to this thread I adore your christmas builds and cabins which i will defo be using in Hidden springs as I am trying to make it into a kind of spa christmas winterworld so those builds are perfect. Then I spotted your remake of the Paradise Pub in Isla Paradiso and was equally as happy as despite IP being one of my favorite worlds I never quite know what to do with that lot so now that issue has been resolved as well..downloaded and rec to almost everything you have created as your builds are so beautiful as always
Hi @SPARKY1922 It's really nice to see you stop by. Thanks so much for your nice comments and recommendations. I'm glad you found some things for your Christmas world. I hope the IP lot works out for you - it's not a pub anymore, but it is filled up. LOL
It is great that you have uploaded Neoteric to the Exchange. It is a very lovely modern family home! Very stylishly nice design and furnishing of each room! It is very nice!
@rosemow Please forgive my very late reply. I was just looking back up my thread to see when I did something, and I saw I never responded to your comment. I always appreciate your supportive words. Hope you had a very nice Christmas.
I am sorry that I haven’t been on your thread for quite a while I can’t write about all your lovely and special creations as there has been quite a few, but I have been enjoying looking at them. The presents for the gift exchanges are very special! The simmers who received them and all Sims 3 simmers would be very much enjoying having them in their games! They are great! The festive builds are also very lovely!
I hope you have a lovely end of the year and a very nice start to 2020
@rosemow Thank you I just felt badly that I had failed to respond to you. No need to worry about commenting on all this stuff. The gift exchanges are a lot of fun for me, and I like to just give them a quick mention here for "posterity," but they are already covered in the gifting thread and I don't really expect people to comment on them here, too. Wishing you a great 2020, too
I've uploaded a dog park for soocoolsim's Orient Express community collaboration and thought I'd include it here, too. It's made for the Paris section of the world (being created by Jessabeans).
A few notes:
-There are two dog dig spot spawners on the lot.
-The Store items list on the download include Tiny Prodigies Early Learning Center and Vineyard Villa Furnishings. I did not use any items from either set. There *may* be a pattern used, but I haven't been able to pinpoint any.
-In addtion, there are a few items used from venues and Store worlds that don't show up: the bistro dining chair and potted flowers are from Monte Vista, the spring rider is from The Boardwalk, and the roof is from the Now and Then Century Manor. I also used Humble Hedge and the Classic Awning pieces, and I haven't yet been able to determine where those are from.
Suzses your dog park is to totally adorable. Who would have thought a venue like this could be so pretty. I'm just visualizing poodles all decked out and prancing around, turning up their noses at the other dogs; even a few doggie romances perhaps. Love it. Rec'd and will download to add to the world. Very happy you're participating in the collab. All wonderful creations

The dog park is lovely! Very nice design and layout! The water fountain area is very nice and the flowers through the park areas are pretty! Sims will have fun playing chess there. Very nice art nook to enjoy painting on the easel. The archway entrances are very nice. Very nice kids play corner for them to enjoy being on the swings and riding the spring rider. The dog house is great!
It is a very nice park to enjoy visiting
Hello I have another build for the Orient Express Community Collaboration to share. It's an Italian farm made for an island outside the Venice area of the world. It sits adjacent an olive grove that's on the world lot, hence the name. It would be suitable for other places, too, for instance, Monte Vista.*
A couple notes:
- The garden/vineyard area has buydebug plants, including quite a few grapes for nectar making, and just a few other fruits and vegetables. There is quite a bit of garden space left open to be used however you prefer.
- I included on the upload a list of the Store premium content used and think I should mention that I also used a couple of the garden plants from the Bohemian Garden set, which are classified as premium content, too, although I wasn't thinking of them that way. I believe the game will simply replace them with other plants for someone who doesn't have them.
- Its location in the intended world doesn't have immediate road access, so I didn't include much accommodation for vehicles but did hide a parking space under the horizontal landscaping rock at the front of the garden and there are two bicycle racks elsewhere.
* (3/1/20) Edited to add: I decided to take a little break from building and play a bit and so placed L'Oliveto in Monte Vista with some sims and discovered that what looked like really subtle terrain paint in the Orient Express World is too dark and messy in Monte Vista. If you put it there, you might want to use the eraser tool a bit and/or go over it with something a bit lighter.
