Have you patched yet? Or were you in the midst of testing this mod when the patch hit. It sounds interesting and I may try it, but not if it's not functioning with the patch. I'm waiting until I get the okay on the current mods I'm using. Thanks!
Slice of Life seems to be working with yesterday's patch. At least, I didn't experience any LEs in the hour or so I've had to play today.
I'm having tons of fun with a mod that allows me to make sims miserable - like taking their hair off, changing their body, etc. Below is Diego Lobo. I made his hair come off and took away all of his muscle mass and fat reserves which made him freak out.. *looks innocent*

Apparently he can't reach the fire to put it out even though he's literally standing on top of it.

Oh, dear. I recall using a test family for the very first time back in Sims3. I wanted to see if random deaths had been dumbed down, as well, as the ghosts had been. That is one of the only times I actively tried to cause a fire in the home. LOL No matter what I did, place a rug in front of the fireplace or any of the other 'tricks' that's supposed to spark a fire, nada. Eventually, if memory serves, an out-of-control fire did occur. But the Child Sim escaped death, even though he appeared to be on fire. Needless to say, my worst fears were confirmed.
That is very curious that a fire broke out even after you upgraded to fireguard. I upgrade every single fireplace in a home. I lost my singer Sim in Sims3 to a home fire. He lived with his younger sister and brother-in-law in the castle that was inherited by the brother-in-law. No matter who attempted to put Erik out, he still perished.
@GalacticGal How many times in how many different ways has Erik perished in your games by now? I still have him and his family in my own game by the way. I also downloaded the adult and famous version of him as well.

Hm. Let me see, now, he died by fire and electrocution in Sims3. He's died by Hysteria three times, so far in Sims 4. When I was playing with a certain mod, he was killed twice, once by being hit by a car (a mad taxi, I believe it was) and then a sweet, elderly Nanny decided he wasn't fit to live. All he did was politely turn her down for a job. He had no need of a Nanny, his younger brother was well-capable and old enough to leave alone for a few hours. I guess his charm wouldn't dissuade her from her evil intentions. (I believe she snapped his neck.) He did, however, survive a Fatal Illness. So, altogether, unless I've missed something, he's died seven times. Not by choice, mind you. He's my all-time favorite Sim. It's happened so often, I finally don't cry over it anymore. LOL
I do hope you're having a great time playing with him in your game. And thank you for downloading him.

Currently, in my newest save, he's made it back to Global Superstar. He's still a teen, too. I have plans to send all four of the eldest kids to college. This time sans the mod that created such a mess of my previous save. It wasn't the mod all by itself, but the fact that I used a game cheat (that may have been unnecessary) to bring Brianna back. At any rate, that game save was completely unplayable. I'd lost my UI, so I couldn't even get into the lot, let alone click on a Sim. Serious stuff. I un-installed and reinstalled and then replaced my Mods, with the exception of the one that was obviously buggy.

I'm going to send him to Uni to study villainy when he ages up. Apparently logic is one of the skills to learn, so I've been trying to get his skill up. Poor guy likes to steal things (he's a kleptomaniac), party and make out with his girlfriend, chess makes him bored.
Morgyn had a tiny makeover.. NOW I like him better :P (personal preferences, LOL )

One of Harrison's Professors was in a flirty mood and got just a wee bit too close to him. He's not mad about it, but the other Professor he's having an affair with looks a little miffed.
