Oh! Just thought of another thing I forgot to mention in the survey, so I'll put it here: children's bicycles and toddler tricycles!

This survey was considerably different...seems like they are taking actual input on gameplay and features from the community this time around which is great!

An awesome survey! Feels like lots of consideration went into this one.

City Living
Festivals - why don't festivals appear on the calendar?

Word. Also, festivals should be updated to have covered areas when Seasons is installed. Nobody has fun at a rainy GeekCon.

They tweaked the weather in one of the recent patches so it should rain less often.

What a poll... So disappointed that there wasn't a spot for "other ideas or feedback." I think that the create-a-sim tool is in spot where its too advanced. I don't actually care what swimwear my sims are wearing. It takes too much time to make a one sim. I would like a generator, what takes note about personality, target and basic chlotes and game makes a reasonable suggestions in create-on-sim. And I would like to see see advanced generator on not-played sims. They look just look-a-like. There is so lot options, why the generator makes them so similar... I don't understand. And please, make them more realist. Like a huge estate and non-played sims is a childnurse, with no talents at all. I want to take non-played sims in the families, but its annoying to know that they are jobless.

There was a question about who or what they should do collaboration... I said IKEA (looove), but now more I think about it, I would said you should do more collabroration with gamers with lots of experience in gaming and making mods. I think that would be good way to make game more popular ;) And we gamers are also heard too, because long time gamers know the biggest issues in a good and bad way.

I would recommend to bring some old and good features back. I bought Sims 4 a while ago and I somehow hoped it would be better than the rest. The best things, like a free lot zoning and huge worlds are gone. I bought obviously the city living ep and what I saw... No possibility to make own big apartments :( Pets ep has a little grade up, luckily. Why does not sims have diseases, like pets? Like in real life? I understand that there is idea to make Sims 4 for all ages, but stuff like removing fireworkers isnt the right option.

I hope that you can make this game playable to us, players in twenties or up, who has played this game since 6-years old.

Please, can I hope retro EP? For all the "old" players. PEG 12 and up. Like burglar, firemen, free-zoning, polices in towns etc... And moooore old music please. I can't find the radio station where the old good tracks are playing. In the poll, they asked a old sims, like Goths and etc. Make them more interesting! And no sandy worlds, more like middle-european (Italy, France, Britain)-scandinavian style in the whole game, please. I will look the other ep's to buy, but I will look really close yt videos before buying. Example, Sims 1 vacation was awesome with hotels and woody places. Sims 2 vacation was so lame.

Sometimes old is good. Hope that polls questions points at hotels and snow stuff. Make it like Sims 1 vacation and there is no option to go wrong. And please, option to create own hotels.... Now I go yt to watch some Sims 1 videos, cause it brings me lots of good memories.
Sorry for bad language, greetings from Finland :)

So glad they came out with this survey! I think the pack quality has really been improving lately, and it sounds like they're taking our feedback seriously :)

I found it weird that there was no space for commenting on what we wanted changed and polished in the packs we wanted updates for - I would've have liked to say in the survey that I want better retail for GTW, be able to build my own apartments for City Living, and improvements to mermaids and more for Island Living. But nope, no space to say that.
Allons-y!

---> Afterlife Game Pack Idea - improved ghosts, cemeteries and funerals, psychics, new skills, new career and more! <---
---> Burglary Stuff Pack Idea - Burglars, alarm systems, and diamonds to steal!<---

> @elliendre are you saying that the NPCs who buy stuff in a store don’t actually have it appear in their inventory?? I have yet to try running a retail store but that is annoying to learn!

I only recently started playing with the retail stores, but I don't think they keep anything in their inventory after shopping. Unless it is a bug or I am doing something wrong? I set up some retail shops in my game, and after I saw some Sims buying items and a cake, I then went to their house to place the items and eat the cake, and there was just nothing there. This is what is happening with all my Sims. It's like a twilight zone shop where all the Sims just pretend to be shopping lol. I was thinking maybe the Sims 4 gameplay is just to focus on making money in the shop from the fake shopping? I can't really get used to it tbh. I really want them to wear the outfits, own the items, be able to eat the food etc.

From what I recall, sims were having the things they were buying in retail in their inventory, but it was found that all these things in all these sims inventories was bogging the game down or something. I can't recall the exact specifics of it, but I remember something about it at the time after GTW came out.

Maybe they are considering which developers that should move on to the sims5 and which one's that should stay working on the sims4.

This survey made me happy. I loved the ideas for relationships, the fact that they are looking to add more Winter activities, and asking about adding more traits, etc.

The part about updating old packs was amazing. Get To Work is the one that I feel needs the most work, especially with the aliens. Adding more looks, traits and abilities (closer to the Vampire level we have) would be fantastic.

I’m curious to know what brand collabs you guys wrote in? I chose the KKW brand because of Kim’s most recent house tour her bathroom is amazing lmao everything is chic and modern and minimalistic
I'm at question 9 and i don't understand the question. what is meant by "Brands"? as in working with other companies or charities? doing what exactly? More elaboration required. I just left that question blank.
I almost wanted to put in Raymour And Flannigan for that question so we can finally get some 🐸🐸🐸🐸 sectional couches 😂. But I put in KKW because she has such nice clean, minimalist taste.

For "brands" I put "No thank you".

I was really happy to see questions about relationships. That was the main feedback I gave was that you can pretty get al Sims to interact together regardless of their likes and dislikes, it doesn't seem to matter whether Sims have anything in common or not, and it should do. I want relationship progress throughout the game, and other Sims interacting together. My Sim got together with a young adult game generated Sim and when they married and moved in together he had no friends and a barista job. I know he was a loner, but surely he'd have some friends. There's so many parts that are just not realistic in regards to families, relationships, jobs etc

I also said I didn't want branding or brand tie-ins. I don't want commercialism in the Sims, I like how it's quirky and they make up their own fun stuff, rather than having a brand dominated world.

It looks like they are planning to add more things to packs already released and I love it! Hopefully that means it is possible we can get more apartments after all!

Apartments with bunk beds is what I was thinking , so I put brushing up on city living xD

Another idea for updating Get To Work would be to add more alien/futuristic Build/Buy and CAS items. The aliens are okay, but I was disappointed that I can't actually build a alien home for them or have more outfits for them, like you can with Vampires or Spellcasters (or even Mermaids a bit).

I put "no more please".

I don't feel real world advertising belongs in my game. I didn't like that the Moschino stuff pack did it and had the actual word written on clothing (my sims speak simlish, not english tyvm) and I'm in no hurry for them to do that again. It also didn't help that they took a brand most of us can't relate to either I suppose unless most simmers can afford a $1000 dress? My sims can afford that dress... but still, I don't want to see real words of any sort in my game and I don't want advertising in my game.

Arg, how could I forget to tell them in the survey how I feel about the random decorations added to my sims' houses nearly every time I enter the house? I hate it with passion, we really should have a way to deactivate this craziness in the game settings. A must if they feel like finetuning the Seasons pack.

I hope they can take back the style of sims 3 onto sims 4. I miss transportation in sims 3. yes sims 4 has better graphics but the sims 4 pets are kinda boring. I was hoping that they have horses and farming stuff since they have it on sims 3. But i bought it anyways i hope they bring back cars and other pets.

I forgot to mention that in CAS I would love to see more hair, skin and eye colors especially for children.

im Excited to know their thinking about adding to the relationships aspect of the game. And how they react socially to one another. I really hope they make changes with this it would make the game a lot more interesting and entertaining. Also hope they update traits or do something to bring more life into their own personalities more to make them distinct from one another.

A survey like this should be commonplace. If this were done periodically, The Sims 4 would be a better game. It's not too late to improve, they did say that TS4 would have the longest lifespan of its predecessors.

And I also hope for a more free will option. Where players can watch their sims run their lives without as much help and them doing more social interactions rather than just chat.

For improving CAS, I went for evening gloves for children and Sims 3 Generations style princess dresses, amongst other things. I was intrigued by the second homes and relationship overhaul. And for branding, I put 'I Don't Know'.

Nice to be able to give feedback. Regarding traits, yes definitely more please but also would be great to have individual bios back.

Also with improvement to packs whilst Realm of Magic is fun to play, I do wish at times that the spells could have more uses or that there was a bigger visual reaction/ consequence to using them (like the Sims 1 where spells could go wrong). Some of the untamed magic could be useful in duels, yet most of these spells seem to only be able to cause damage to objects or prank Sims (in which case shouldn't they be in mischief spells?)

The layout of the perks chart is a little confusing.

Also (sorry for the long moan here) the mischief spells, and mischief interactions in general, don't feel mischievous enough. I like things a bit more slapstick and do feel there are some missed opportunities for humour with these interactions (many of these feel the same as mean interactions).
I would really like to see more physical/ messy pranks, preferably involving slime, custard or insect infestations. I have a Sim couple who are serial mischief makers but would love to see them pull off something a bit more imaginative than just telling people different sorts of lies (though Norrell does enjoy telling everyone he's a criminal mastermind). The pranks are too clean!
