You maybe. I like bodily cleanliness, but it doesn't enter "freak" levels.

WMLT be a lazy bones today?

This is the Ask Me Anything Game. XD I'm so sorry for the mix up. LOL. I'mma just change your question to: Would you go on a rollercoaster?

Um, depending on the height and whether it turns you upside down, which I won't.

How is an outdoor mall like? :D

If you had to remove one from existence, which would it be: dogs or cats?

Neither! Both cats and dogs are great animals and are some of the best friends a person could have. We wouldn’t have made it this far without them, either. Dogs helped us hunt, herd our livestock, travel (sled dogs), catch vermin, and be loyal friends. And dogs still do a whole bunch of those things, along with being service, military, and police dogs in the modern day.

Cats helped keep vermin populations low, especially important in agriculture. There probably would have been even more problems with disease and health if early agriculturalists didn’t have cats poking around. And they’re cute and cuddly, so yeah.

If we didn’t have one or either of these animals, humanity could look quite different today (or at least I think so).

What’s something you like to do to relax?

Dogs. I have a pet cat and don't want him to go.

    Same question

Which is trashier: outdoor or indoor malls?

Do you mean more garbage, or do you mean less in good taste? People have a bad image of indoor malls, but they make far more sense in places where it snows, that so-called "outdoor" ones that are actually just the same number of buildings, each standing separate. The reason those "sprawl malls" are worse than a single indoor one, is that there is more need for parking lots and room to drive, in a sprawl mall, than in a unified one, per amount of building, and each individual building needs to be heated or cooled, which is far less efficient than heating or cooling a much larger but connected indoor space.

So I think if people think a "sprawl mall" is somehow more tasteful than a large indoor one, it's an emotional reaction that ignores the practicalities.

There is only one advantage to the huge spread of individual boxes surrounded by an even more huge spread of parking lot and driveways: people like myself, who have trouble breathing or break out itching in highly scented stores like the ones selling bath and body products, can simply not go into those places, whereas in a mall, we have to hurry past certain areas, holding out breath.

The reason sprawl malls are a huge pain in my area, is it's not fun to have to keep tramping out into the snow and then having to hop back in a car and drive to get to another store. You could walk, but it's all cars and parking lot outside, and I imagine it would be worst for parents with little ones in strollers, whereas in one continuous indoor mall, you don't have to go through all that just to spend an afternoon browsing shops, doing some activities, and having a meal. I guess outdoor malls make sense in places where the weather is usually fine, but in most places where it's not snowy in winter, it's hot and you'd rather not be outside there, either.

So for a question: which do you enjoy being at for an afternoon: an outdoor "sprawl mall" or an indoor single-location one, and why?

Neither. I don't really like going to malls, and I wouldn't enjoy being at either for an entire afternoon.

Do you like going to the beach?
  • DeKayDeKay Posts: 81,565 Member
Heck no. I live in Singapore and the beaches here is like the freaking desert. No one wants that. LOL.
