just poking through the simsvip screenshots of the latest trailer and seeing the skirt in the background here made me wonder both what the other swatches are like and what you could do with it... i'm already looking forward to being able to use it... just a week to go. le sigh
@kalaksed Just watched the stream and the new CAS is versatile and easy to match with a lot of the other packs! I love it! So you might not even need the inspiration, but of course I will be posting some outfits on the day of release (and after) for anyone who is interested to see my take on it. Off-topic for this thread, but I am REALLY excited for the roommate system!

CAS is awesome in this pack, we all knew that. I will not get past female CAS today, but thought I would post some quick first looks. The first picture is some of the gorgeous full body outfits and in the second picture you can see how the new CAS looks combined with other packs.
I really enjoy the CAS items they added with this pack, which I know has already been said, but I have to say it again. Even though males did not get good full body outfits, I think the tops and bottoms are excellent and work with a lot of other packs. Below some male outfits (I will be adding more female outfits soon), top row DU tops and bottom row DU bottoms.
I already used most of the Uni outfits I created for males before the pack on my roommates, so if you are editing your Uni roommates as well, I hope these will be useful to you too.
More outfits for females, as mentioned above.
Even more outfits with two of my favourite CAS items in this pack, the biker-style jacket and the button-up skinny jeans.

The festive season is upon us so while I indeed found @mika's request challenging, it is very fitting. I didn't really know what to do with it at first, but then I thought I should post outfits for families that would look good in screenshots. So below we have families in red, green and blue outfits. Hope you'll get some inspiration from these!

I don't really know any specifics regarding clothing on Hanukkah. I would have assumed it is also generally festive so maybe the blue outfits will work for that.

oh they are pretty for sure. i love red and green in christmas. blue is very hannukah it seems like , not sure why though? christmas decor seem to have blue white silver themes like this year. gold works,glitter shiny blingy is good for formal eh . anyway im liking , thanks for posting .
So, this is something I actually did for myself, but I thought I might as well post it as it has been a while. I wanted to look at some CAS items I never use for one reason or the other and try to make them more palatable to me. The fact that I don't really like these items says something about my taste - not yours, if these are pieces you enjoy. Different strokes for different folks.
Focus: CAS items I never use
1. I believe this ensemble was part of the The Sims 4 Deluxe Edition. I am still not a fan but I guess it works as a party outfit on a very extroverted Sim with the heels from the Luxury Party Stuff pack
2. I like the plain swatches of the skirt, but most of the patterns not so much. This blue one seems especially out there, but I think it works with the cute DU top and some jewellery
3. This BG top looks tacky to me (as does Nina Caliente, but this has almost nothing to do with her!) and I never use it and that swatch is especially loud. I think it works as party wear though with the ROM skirt and the Luxury Party Stuff pack heels
4. Another BG top I never use because I think it looks a bit cheap. With skinny jeans and accessories it kinda works. It’s like, I can put this on a townie and not be annoyed when my Sim runs into them at the Karaoke bar
5. The frumpy BG Ms Crumblebottom dress. It is difficult to use because you can’t really add many accessories. I am still not in love with it, but the beret and the Mary Janes class it up a bit
6. This plaid dress from C&D is not a favourite of mine and I never use it. It’s very homey, I suppose. So I tried to spruce it up a bit and I think I ended up with a hipster look
7. I don’t know what it is exactly about the top from the Romantic Garden Stuff pack. It’s doesn’t have quite the right shape. The sleeves look like they want to be butterfly but didn’t quite make it and the lenght is not flattering either. I feel it works with the skinny jeans from the Laundry Day pack, because it has just the right waist line
8. I never quite know what to do with that dress. It’s old-fashioned but not for the Elderly. I gave it as formal wear in black to one of my spellcasters, which is the only time I ever used it until now. But I really like the teal swatch with the tan-colored beret and boots, so that's something!
I really like the CAS items I saw in the 'Tiny Living' trailer, so there will definitely be a post about that when it's out!
