Disability and disfigurement CC?

Heya! I'm always on a hunt to diversify my Sims and wanted to ask about your guys' favourite disability and disfigurement (using the term loosely and not in a negative way) CC, and I also am looking for recommendations for a lot of things I'm missing

So I already have some scars, virtiligo, red-ish eyes and white lashes as associated with some varieties of albinism, and some moles, glasses, etc..

I lack a ton of things, like casts, bandages, plasters, hearing aids, cleft lips, a lot of skin conditions (for example cysts, dry skin, red patches, lipomas), alopecia, and probably more that I can't think of right now

I also wonder if it is possible to emulate limb loss in the Sims? I've never seen it, I've never seen someone use or make CC for amputees or Sims "born" without one or several limbs. Maybe limb loss is too difficult, but maybe there's prosthetics CC out there?

I would be interested in this stuff too, especially for anything involving blind/visually impaired sims because I am blind

@Modsey I would love to see CC to make blind sims! And even a mod for a blindness trait would be cool. I know of some trait mods for mental illnesses like anxiety and depression but I haven't seen ones for blindness and deafness

You're not rude at all! I'd love to tell you!

So I still have quite a bit of sight still, which makes it possible for me to read electronically on a computer screen. However, reading things on paper is much harder for me. Glasses still work for me a little, they improve things but I still see very badly with glasses. Most people with glasses can see really well if they wear their glasses, but not me. And without glasses is ten times worse for me.

Actually, a lot of blind people have some vision left. Sometimes it's only seeing light and shadow, or very blurry haze, but most of us have some vision. Only 9% are completely blind and see nothing.

There are lots of programs and tools/magnifiers to make it easier for the blind to read.

Windows, Mac, iPhones/iPads, and Android phones/tablets all come with screen readers built-in. So a computer voice will read what's on the screen for you and read what buttons you're about to press if you touch it (touch screen) or roll your mouse pointer on it. There are also screen magnifiers to zoom in on small parts of the screen and make words or images easier to see. Some people use voice dictation to type, but I'm very good at typing on a keyboard and could do it completely blind if I needed to.

There are also hand-held magnifiers to use on actual book pages. There are glass magnifiers but there are also electronic ones that look like a clunky cell phone and have a camera on one side and a screen on the other. Using the camera it zooms in on the page and makes the letters and words bigger on the screen. I know iPhones do a similar thing because I use that too.

I do have a hard time playing Sims with my vision. The font is too small for me, especially the action wheel sims have for socializing or interacting with objects. I have to use a very big screen and lean in to read it. I wish Sims would make a feature to increase the font on their games, or make a voice over but no such luck.

I can answer more questions if you have them

Please never feel bad about needing to ask a question. I want you to know rather than have no idea.

Please don't post links to 18+ sites. It violates the TOS for the board and can get you in trouble.

Lavoieri has a wooden leg prosthesis.. HERE It's more or less steampunk though. There was also a cog arm but it was only apart of whole outfit. It's a sock but would work if your into steampunk.

@Bananas_45 but none of the sites I posted to are 18+? (two of them are to the download themselves since the blog is long-gone)

@MadameLee Unfortunately, Natalia Auditore's Patreon has an 18+ entry screen. I really don't understand why she did it that way but, she did.

Bookmarking the thread, because I'm really interested in prosthetics. I work with ones as a veterinarian, which isn't exactly the same but still. Thank you so much for taking the time to search for something like that.
