Storyline ideas for my evil sim?

I have quite a few households in my game right now, I play the family of my two beloved starter sims Myla Mallory who was a musician and Ivan Mallory who was a programmer. The 2nd gen oldies are dying out :/ Meaning it's time to think about their children! My truly evil sim to be Mara Mallory needs a storyline and I have a few but they all are sort of the same :| Any storyline ideas, get creative hehe..

Taking a cue from your username make a "Mafia Club" and if your not opposed to using mods there are a few that could help with the "muscle" and "business" aspect of how the mafia is stereotypically operated.

I did a story about an assassin sim who started out in a small deserted town. This was back in Sims 3. Eventually, she moved to the big city and met a vampire, who would later turn her because he was quite impressed with her means of ending others, even taking on vampires if they had a price on their head. I had used mods at the time to do justice for this character. In the spoiler are a few pictures of her story.
This was her first victim after moving to the city.

I loved how evil TS3 sims could have been, and she truly was.

What if your sim finds an equally evil soulmate and they become partners in crime? They try and reform their ways so they can be parents, but after two kids they find it difficult and start stealing from their children's friend's parents houses?

    1) You could do a black widow storyline. Marry rich sims and then have them meet with "tragic accidents."

    2) You could have rival gangs in a gang war, with your sim in an entry position in one of the gangs. Eventually, have your sim kill and manipulate their way to being head of the gang and then set about destroying or taking over the other gang through a series of bloody events.

    3) You could just have them be a mean drunk who never lets anybody get close enough to love them and sabotages every relationship they have, with everyone they've ever known ending up hating them.

    4) Have them become rich, famous, and totally narcissistic and treat everyone around them like dirt.

Because Myla is Evil, Myla will feel happy when she is surrounded by sims with negative moodlets. So, maybe you can make dungeon that double as Myla' music studio. She will lock some poor, unfortunate sims and make them feel miserable, then Myla can play her music in good mood.

There are a few mods out there that I don't think we can mention here, but they greatly improve the criminal aspect of the game, but I don't play with them much because I feel bad about using game altering mods, especially M for mature ones for some reason lol. Mods aside, you could do the criminal career, and make as many enemies as possible. Make an enemies with benefits scenario too if you can. Enemies with benefits is funny.

Thanks for all the amazing ideas :) I don't use mods much either hehe.. but maybe I will have a "Enemies with benefits" storyline :D

If you have RoM, you can go around and commit arson on your enemies' houses. You can also torch sims to death, buy their fire-damaged houses for cheap, and then turn them into vacation homes or retail lots.

Or you can use the Kleptomaniac and Always Welcome traits to sneak into houses at night and steal things. Then you can sell it back to them via retail stores.

Ok so I'm gonna totally steal this from Holes but I would recommend playing a Kissin' Kate Barlow character. You know loses her lover so she dedicates her life to taking out guys who are jerks.

there are all kinds of things you could do, depending on your preferences or what story ideas hook you... four easy options, just taken from the career options that play best to an 'evil' sim are:

criminal, boss path: basically go thug, criminal mastermind or the like, with a mafia-style focus
i play nancy landgraab this way in my game, she's the top of the 'boss' career, has a get together club of lackeys and sycophants that hang out with her at a revamped solar flair lounge in oasis springs, with the top level being exclusive to them, decorated extravagantly and with copious examples of their ill-gotten gains in prominent display
another sim of mine sort of counts, since he's a criminal in the boss career, has a get together club of like-minded individuals that are part of the gang he's in (they hang out beneath a karaoke bar their gang runs). they're part of a larger shadow organization that opposes nancy's organization, as well as pretty much any others i bring up in this topic

criminal, oracle path: hacker extraordinaire, no need to actually go out and cause mischief or get physical revenge on those who wrong or slight you, do it all from the computer or send your faceless internet army to do it for you!
i play one of my sims, paige turner, this way. she's the top of the oracle career, has a get together club consisting of sims of all walks of life that are really good at programming to symbolize her 'hacker army' (for fun, i made sure to include a detective and a military officer in it) that meet up occasionally at a secret hackspace hidden beneath a very popular penthouse nightclub
without mods, this one is probably the most boring unless you add other aspects to it, since most of their 'evil' interactions will wind up being things like trolling the forums, sending spam money requests to sims they dislike, hacking or making viruses...none of which actually interact with other sims

secret agent, villain path: the name kind of says it all. try to take over the world! secret lair not required, but highly recommended
i've actually got several villain sims, each one with a different theme (with one exception)
first up is an alien supervillain who has a secret lair/lab beneath his 'normal' house (which is dark, gothic and pretty much vampire-themed because his neighbors are the goths and cruella deville, so... he's blending in) full of high tech and alien equipment, including a room containing samples of strangerville flora, as he's trying to figure out how to mind control sims but have them follow him instead of the 'mother'
after that, the one without a unique theme is actually his daughter, who recently finished university with a distinguished degree in villainy because she wants to make daddy proud and follow in his footsteps. after graduating, she's become his right-hand woman, still learning from him for when she takes over the family business when he retires
another tech-oriented villain i have is based on the song "genghis khan" by miike snow, basically a 'what if' james bond concept of 'bond and his villain secretly had the hots for each other and then officially became a couple'. with a great dance number. so yeah, the villain has his 9-5 'take over the world' schemes, but as soon as that's over, he returns to his loving husband who was trying to thwart his plans while on the job, and their children (the villain's from a previous relationship). i just love how silly this one is, since you don't always have to play a bad guy constantly being nothing but bad, the character type can be good for laughs and a nice way to relax
yet another of my villains is a spellcaster, who has a club of like-minded casters following them... most of the club is all about petty meanness because they can be, but the villain is looking for a way to become one of the sages, or to get rid of the sages... whichever fits their schemes that day. i haven't done terribly much with this one, yet, so not as fleshed out as many of the others
the newest addition to my villains is yet another tech-oriented one who was the roommate of my alien girl, as well as a fellow villainy major. she also worked on computer science and robotics on the side, her whole plan was to have an army of robots to do her bidding. it...mostly worked, but not quite the way she intended. this individual is a sulani native who just doesn't like the ancestor-bound, friendly-to-everybody traditions of her home islands, so couldn't wait to get out of there. as a kid, she'd already built herself a new persona as 'the pink terror' and still uses that as an adult, not caring how many people think that's just utterly ridiculous. she actually did kind of wind up taking over the world, just not even remotely in a way she expected... she's one of the most famous and notorious sims in del sol valley, with her robots being hired quite frequently for roles in various movies and tv shows

astronaut, interstellar smuggler path: similar to the villain, the name pretty much says it all. having a small retail store for them can help if you want to actually have them sell off some of their acquired objects or creatures
one of my smuggler households consists of 3 aliens, all in the smuggler career, and the teenage daughter of one of them. they've got a luxurious mansion decorated with some of their findings they like the looks of or couldn't offload for other reasons, as well as a nightclub hangout in magnolia promenade (which is full of alien-themed stuff in my game), complete with a portal to sixam and a 'hidden' room full of stuff they're trying to offload so they can invite prospective customers in to check it out
my other smuggler household is also an alien, who lives in disguise in strangerville and her whole career is based around supplying other sims with the bizarre fruit and related things from there (including, and especially, the antidote). she supplies both the supervillain alien as well as the scientist alien who is looking to stop his plans before they start. because, hey, they both pay top dollar. and, of course, she doesn't want either one to win because then both would stop buying from her. (this character isn't actually in the interstellar smuggler career, but in the operative branch of the military. but she is absolutely a smuggler)

you could also do some other career-related things, like have a mob lawyer (i'm planning on making one or two of these, myself, but haven't gotten around to it yet... one to work for nancy landgraab, one to work for the shadowy organization that will come up in a bit) or a corrupt politician or whatever
or could go with occult-themed evil. an evil ghost could be fun, if obnoxious. vampires, of course, lend themselves quite well to typically evil trends... and i've mentioned spellcasters and aliens above. a few other occults of mine will show up below, though none of my ghosts actually fall into the 'evil' category...which i should probably fix, now that i think about it

one of my mermaid concepts would work quite well for this, he's a child of the islands (but not child of the ocean because i hate the 'can't eat fish' aspect of that trait) and lives on the lot next to the volcano (which has the volcanic lot trait). he takes protecting the island very seriously and sees humanity (simanity?) as the biggest threat, while they're also potentially the biggest help. without mods, the regular mermaid interactions can't kill sims, but one of them can leave a sim near death and then you just have to wait (and ensure the sim never leaves the water). he's known for attacking those he sees littering and, when the volcano erupts, he sees it as a sign from the island spirits that it's time to stalk down someone who has greatly upset them and end them

for vampires, i've got a typically expected group of 'rebel' vampires that are kind of a mix of anarchs (and, to a degree, sabbat) from white wolf's vampire: the masquerade game and the vampire pack from the movie "the lost boys". they do what they want, when they want, and humanity (simanity?) is just tools to have fun with or push around
i've also got a 'dark council' of most of the most powerful and influential vampires in my game, headed by vlad himself. not all of these are evil, or even bad, but some (like vlad) are. their biggest thing is secrecy, so it's kind of 'do what you want, just don't get caught'. and vlad, of course, is not nice at all

and now for that 'shadowy organization' mentioned several times before... this one actually was never even intended, but has become one of my absolute favorite things in my game. originally, i was just planning on having a yakuza-style group run the criminal underworld in san myshuno when city living came out but that changed drastically with the upload of a vampire known as 'the jade countess'. i loved her reptilian concept immensely, so downloaded and edited her to fit my story and style while totally building a new aspect of my game around her, mixing elements of disparate real world mythologies to make something unique. she's a chinese immigrant from the old railroad building days, turned into a vampire by an 'evil spirit' of mayan origin (there are stories of vampire-like beings with reptilian characteristics that seem to be traced back to mayan tales, so i loved how this worked with aspects of jungle adventures when it was released). basically, she refuses to believe that she's a vampire. instead, she's been blessed (or cursed) by the guardian dragons of her culture and is opposed to vampires, in general. she also has taken it upon herself to protect the chinese immigrants of her adopted home, even as she preyed upon them. over the centuries, she'd become the central pillar of san myshuno's underworld, slowly expanding to non-chinese, then non-asian circles, as well, though is still heavily biased in favor of asians, especially chinese. she still goes by the name 'the jade countess', has stopped people that tried to turn her to an empress, saying she doesn't yet deserve that title, partially because of the curse (or blessing?) of the dragons
she's got a handful of top lieutenants, all vampires she created herself (so they have reptilian characteristics, as well)... with one exception, they're all also chinese. and the one exception is japanese. together, they're known as the 'fangs of the dragon' (a club) and each one is in charge of one aspect of her organization... which takes form as each one leading one of the four organizations named for the four guardian (or sacred) beasts in most asian mythologies, the azure dragon, the white tiger, the vermilion bird, the black tortoise. each of these is another get together club with strict requirements and is intended to focus on different aspects of (mostly san myshuno) life. three of the four use the chinese names for the beasts, the last one uses the japanese name
the azure dragon is mostly built around politics and other forms of power, with both lawyers and sorcerers also being included (they've got a spellcaster sort of similar to lo pan from 'big trouble in little china' as a top member, who is also the only non-vampire that is close to the countess)
the white tiger is focused more on the actual criminal element, has a series of seemingly unrelated gangs, tongs, triads and such working under them as a mostly cohesive whole (this is where an earlier mentioned 'boss' sim of mine falls. he's not high rank in it, but he's in it). it's the only multi-ethnic group among these... it's hard to change the boss's centuries of thinking
the vermilion bird focuses more on entertainment and related fields, i honestly haven't done terribly much with this one yet, so it's still getting fleshed out
the black tortoise is the japanese-themed one, it consists of a yakuza branch that broke off from that organization to work for the countess in exchange for their leader being given immortality. they've got aspects of all three other groups, since they were a competing group once upon a time, tend to do things a bit differently than the rest, but still fall in line with them

...so...um... sorry this wound up becoming more about my own sims/themes. it was originally intended as 'here's a few ideas' and, in typical me fashion, went more in depth with my examples...
also, out of all these sims listed, only a handful actually have the evil trait. the alien supervillain, one of the trio of international smugglers, the jade countess, vlad, one of the 'rebel' vampires, pinky terror, and the leader of the 'bad guy' spellcasters. the rest have, at most, one of the negative traits like 'mean' or 'hot-headed'. many don't even have those, just wound up falling into these 'not so nice' fields

I don't play with mods either, but here's an idea for what it's worth :) Have her join the medical profession, from the bottom up she'll have a great time being around all of those uncomfortable people. Then she starts to give out bad medical advice resulting in a spate of deaths around town, people die when she's operating on them (cheat!) Create an Angel of Death scenario around her where she genuinely thinks she'd helping people by shifting them off the mortal coil. I did similar with Malcolm Landgraab and had a wail of a time with it. If his spouse got ill, he popped her off, his reasoning nobody would want to live with Llama Flu!

yet another of my villains is a spellcaster, who has a club of like-minded casters following them... most of the club is all about petty meanness because they can be, but the villain is looking for a way to become one of the sages, or to get rid of the sages... whichever fits their schemes that day. i haven't done terribly much with this one, yet, so not as fleshed out as many of the others
the newest addition to my villains is yet another tech-oriented one who was the roommate of my alien girl, as well as a fellow villainy major. she also worked on computer science and robotics on the side, her whole plan was to have an army of robots to do her bidding. it...mostly worked, but not quite the way she intended. this individual is a sulani native who just doesn't like the ancestor-bound, friendly-to-everybody traditions of her home islands, so couldn't wait to get out of there. as a kid, she'd already built herself a new persona as 'the pink terror' and still uses that as an adult, not caring how many people think that's just utterly ridiculous. she actually did kind of wind up taking over the world, just not even remotely in a way she expected... she's one of the most famous and notorious sims in del sol valley, with her robots being hired quite frequently for roles in various movies and tv shows

astronaut, interstellar smuggler path: similar to the villain, the name pretty much says it all. having a small retail store for them can help if you want to actually have them sell off some of their acquired objects or creatures
one of my smuggler households consists of 3 aliens, all in the smuggler career, and the teenage daughter of one of them. they've got a luxurious mansion decorated with some of their findings they like the looks of or couldn't offload for other reasons, as well as a nightclub hangout in magnolia promenade (which is full of alien-themed stuff in my game), complete with a portal to sixam and a 'hidden' room full of stuff they're trying to offload so they can invite prospective customers in to check it out
my other smuggler household is also an alien, who lives in disguise in strangerville and her whole career is based around supplying other sims with the bizarre fruit and related things from there (including, and especially, the antidote). she supplies both the supervillain alien as well as the scientist alien who is looking to stop his plans before they start. because, hey, they both pay top dollar. and, of course, she doesn't want either one to win because then both would stop buying from her.

Wow, I mean thats a lot of gameplay ideas for my sim and generations of evil sims ahead >:) I definitely am liking occult themes for Mara mainly because she comes from a small town strangerville farmy family! Her parents stopped the mother back in the day so maybe she brings that deal back AND goes around the world being evil hehe.. But thank you so much for all the amazing ideas and inspiration

Ok so I'm gonna totally steal this from Holes but I would recommend playing a Kissin' Kate Barlow character. You know loses her lover so she dedicates her life to taking out guys who are jerks.

:D Holes! Classic movie lmao , I'll definitely incorporate some girl power into Mara's story *Be gone Jerks* ;)

Ahhh!! This is such a good idea too, I'm honestly getting so many ideas from the forum and I can't choose which storyline I like the most  I'm hoping to go with the realm of magic realm but she can pull a barbie and do every job

there are all kinds of things you could do, depending on your preferences or what story ideas hook you... four easy options, just taken from the career options that play best to an 'evil' sim are:

criminal, boss path: basically go thug, criminal mastermind or the like, with a mafia-style focus
i play nancy landgraab this way in my game, she's the top of the 'boss' career, has a get together club of lackeys and sycophants that hang out with her at a revamped solar flair lounge in oasis springs, with the top level being exclusive to them, decorated extravagantly and with copious examples of their ill-gotten gains in prominent display
another sim of mine sort of counts, since he's a criminal in the boss career, has a get together club of like-minded individuals that are part of the gang he's in (they hang out beneath a karaoke bar their gang runs). they're part of a larger shadow organization that opposes nancy's organization, as well as pretty much any others i bring up in this topic

criminal, oracle path: hacker extraordinaire, no need to actually go out and cause mischief or get physical revenge on those who wrong or slight you, do it all from the computer or send your faceless internet army to do it for you!
i play one of my sims, paige turner, this way. she's the top of the oracle career, has a get together club consisting of sims of all walks of life that are really good at programming to symbolize her 'hacker army' (for fun, i made sure to include a detective and a military officer in it) that meet up occasionally at a secret hackspace hidden beneath a very popular penthouse nightclub
without mods, this one is probably the most boring unless you add other aspects to it, since most of their 'evil' interactions will wind up being things like trolling the forums, sending spam money requests to sims they dislike, hacking or making viruses...none of which actually interact with other sims

secret agent, villain path: the name kind of says it all. try to take over the world! secret lair not required, but highly recommended
i've actually got several villain sims, each one with a different theme (with one exception)
first up is an alien supervillain who has a secret lair/lab beneath his 'normal' house (which is dark, gothic and pretty much vampire-themed because his neighbors are the goths and cruella deville, so... he's blending in) full of high tech and alien equipment, including a room containing samples of strangerville flora, as he's trying to figure out how to mind control sims but have them follow him instead of the 'mother'
after that, the one without a unique theme is actually his daughter, who recently finished university with a distinguished degree in villainy because she wants to make daddy proud and follow in his footsteps. after graduating, she's become his right-hand woman, still learning from him for when she takes over the family business when he retires
another tech-oriented villain i have is based on the song "genghis khan" by miike snow, basically a 'what if' james bond concept of 'bond and his villain secretly had the hots for each other and then officially became a couple'. with a great dance number. so yeah, the villain has his 9-5 'take over the world' schemes, but as soon as that's over, he returns to his loving husband who was trying to thwart his plans while on the job, and their children (the villain's from a previous relationship). i just love how silly this one is, since you don't always have to play a bad guy constantly being nothing but bad, the character type can be good for laughs and a nice way to relax

    @PlumbobMafiaQueen Evil you say?

I modified this "happy cute" house that actually has a deep dark secret evil past underneath. In my story line, my character Rohber Calhouni, (a deviant crime career guy), found this cheep little house then discovered an old abandoned underground prison/interrogation complex from the cold-war era that technically and officially "never existed". He's been renovating it slowly to his own whims and has two clueless "renters" on the main floor. The two women in the first level underground, (they're sisters also), one is insane, and the other lazy and doesn't care about much. The boy wasn't supposed to be down there. I had to re-setup the locked doors after these screenshots. He's the son of one of the two sisters that live upstairs. The two underground women both had an affair with... guess who! Don Lothario! :D And each had a baby from him. How the babies appeared in the sub-basement "dungeon" is really weird since everyone was locked out of there. I moved them up later anyways. Heh!

EDIT: Oh yeah, the two sisters on the main floor are also Don Lothario's daughters with Bella Goth. ROFL! The son of one of them is from a guy that she kept inviting over from school when they were teens. Both of the sisters fought over the same guy romantically for awhile. It's a 'townie' NPC. All of the characters except Rohber were NPC's that I took over as player characters. Quite the soap-opera hey?

It kinda sucks with the 8 per household limit. Now there's the 2 Goth-Lothario sisters and the son (3), The two Ebabit sisters and their baby each, one boy one girl (4), and of course Rohber Calhouni, total 8. :(

If you have DU, place some roommates in your evil sim's house then see how many of them your sim can force into leaving!
