Thagus & Xads Endod landed in Appolosia Plains, for now I'm letting Thagus's wishes & needs set the pace.
The spaceship landed in a different part of town. The neighbors aren't sure yet how they feel about suddenly having an arcade on their block.
Thagus heads inside to make sure nothing was knocked out of place during the relocation shift.
He does his best to reassure Xads that they will be okay in this new place.
Xads alerts Thagus to a strange being at the door.
Turns out it's just the university Mascot, and now Thagus is wondering if he should check out the university.

Thagus is besides himself (as am I) when he discovers a dragon's egg near the entry.

Turns out the pool is a refreshing spot on a summer day. Thagus still isn't sure if it was proper etiquette for the mascot to ditch her costume and go for a dip.
Back inside to study some more.

Eventually it's time for a quick trip to the dog park where they play fetch, (autonomous interaction, love free will on) and meet some new people.
Finally ...
It's back home for a late dinner and bed. Thadus wonders if his first day on the job at the science center will go well. He also wonders if he might need some amenities that he's never needed before; such as a sink or dishwasher.

Am glad to see things are starting to turn around for them. I can relax a bit knowing that Tad is making the effort to not yell first, discuss later. It was also neat to see another gift (MamaD's park) being used.

I had been thinking that would be a really good way to play through those three households and here you go, getting it going. LOL
I’ve been sitting in front of my laptop for hours trying to get at least some comments about everybody’s awesome creations posted … I am so far behind that it seems an impossible task and as I started stressing out because I takes me absolute ages to write something I thought I should at least do a group one
You have all created heaps of amazing gifts … sims, pets, builds and even worlds!!! My hard drive is bursting out of its seams with all the goodies I have downloaded and it will give me a lot of pleasure for months to come to check them all out.
Thank you all ever so much for your lovely comments on my builds and sims . I have read and appreciate everyone of them even if I haven’t thanked you individually.

@SamelaRita and all - I am finally back with a little look in on Amber and Lucie and the Town Green. I had decided my usual Moonlight Falls game was too full for all the additions, so I am going to keep a copy of the Fairweathers and The Old Store there but started all three households over in another empty Moonlight Falls. I needed a couple community lots in addition to the Town Green right away, and I'm afraid one thing led to another, and I've been adding in and modifying things to fit in . . . Now I have a pretty full downtown area and a few other homes and apartments for neighbors. It's my obsession. I apologize for the detour.
Anyway, I finally got over to the Saltbox . . .
It's sunset, almost dark, again when I peek in and this is what I find. Since the picture was rather dark, I brightened it which is why it all looks like pink lemonade. Based on her attire, I would say Amber had no trouble finding the sprinkler in the garden. The two are obviously good friends and having a good time here in their new home.
I just wanted to say here how much I really do enjoy their garden, especially with the lights in the trees. It's magical. I didn't take another picture outdoors to share, though.
The sitting room in the Saltbox is pretty and comfortable. I'm sure they'll enjoy their time living here.
After coaxing Amber and Lucie out of the yard, Amber went to her computer and got to work on finishing The Scarlet Hawk. I enjoyed that she was actually writing it, and that she had a copy of The Seventeenth Star in her backpack.
Lucie, meanwhile, was busy in her studio.
It didn't take Amber long to put the finishing touches on her book, so she came over to join Lucie in the studio. I had to laugh that after Amber chose a book from the nearby bookcase, she walked through the sitting room, past the comfy couches, and all the way to the studio to read. She must have needed some company.
The following morning, after Amber had made breakfast and both had enjoyed some strawberry pancakes, Lucie went to tend the garden. It was time for Amber to go out and do a little exploring, maybe get some inspiration for her next book.
The Town Green was close by and seemed the place to start. The monument area is so appealing - it would be a lovely spot to sit and read or sketch, I'm thinking - and the little church is perfectly what a small country church should be.
Amber, however, made straight for the gravestones and began mourning some stranger. Not long after, Rafe showed up to do the same.
Fortunately, both got over the mourning quickly and started up a conversation.
A short while later, Jenny (the sim I plunked into town when I first began to place the lots) arrived and began to play guitar near the graves, interrupting Amber and Rafe getting acquainted. I had to laugh, knowing that Jenny must have lifted that guitar from the consignment store, where I had last seen her, because she didn't own a guitar.
Lucie had also run into Leo at the bookstore, and they had a little chat, but I didn't get a picture. Thinking someone will have to invite someone to do something. Maybe I could get all four together at the Saltbox for dinner.
@suzses Wow Jenny is thief and an interloper, I love the nonsense townies get up to whenever you try to have a plan. The Town Green looks lovely in your game. It's nice to see the gifts in action.
Even if said action is being covered in trash!

Anyway, I finally got over to the Saltbox . . .
