My brother Richard "Scumbumbo" died May 23, 2019 suddenly at a Who concert. Family was very important to him and he will be greatly missed by everyone who know and loved him. Thank you all for your kind words and thank you to the person who made a tribute picture of his avatar. I will make sure I use it in all my lots from now on.

Obviously anyone can say anything on the internet and I'm not 100% sure I believe you. There was a Who concert in the US on that date however.

I'm sorry for your loss. Among other things, he must have had an incredible sense of humor. "Don't Wash Dishes Where you Angry Poop" is both an essential mod and one with just a hilarious name. He really did give a lot to the simming community. Best wishes to you and your family.

Very sorry for your loss. His mods were/are an integral part of my simming.
I just found out about this on MTS, even though i've looked around on this forum for a bit in the past few weeks, it must have been bad timing i didn't see it on the first page. in any event, i'm sorry to read of his passing. i have mods belonging to scumbumbo; most notable set filters by paintings by reference to get rid of that horrible default painting reference filter. i hope his mods continue to be updated by those few elsewhere that are kind enough to put in the effort and time to keep his works alive.
With that stated, every time the developers on TS4 make adjustments to their game, occasionally it has the effect of breaking something that a mod used work with, for example debug commands for apartment lots and so forth, so hopefully the developers have enough respect at least for keep things working for the paint reference, or better still incorperating a few of those modifications and adding scumbumbo's name to the credits for his work if his family allows it. no royalties, just as a rememberance and sign of respect the community takes care of its own.
If there have been others that also passed and their works are respectable enough, add them as well. last thing i would like to see are great works from modders who passed and see them getting retired and their memories and names forgotten.
However:
I read about some people not believing his brother. Not just here but other places also. I just read a bunch of comments somewhere else that did not believe him. They were calling it a hoax. This bothers me. Hopely facts will fix this. This needs to be addressed. I did also address it in a few other places.
There is supporting evidence. Sorry, some will not believe because it's the internet. It's sad!
