Sims 2 and Sims 4 incompatible??

AkiraTheAngelAkiraTheAngel Posts: 30 Member
So I had the Sims 2 installed on my laptop, then decided, what the heck, i wanna play Sims 4 since I've invested over 60 bucks for in it now. So I download the Sims 4 onto my laptop via origin, but then neither one will open - no matter how much I click them.

I've factory-reset my laptop (it's the only thing that worked) and installed the Sims 4 on it, but I don't dare install the Sims 2 on it in case it breaks both of them.

My laptop runs Windows 10, and I can give you the processor specs if needed. I would love to be able to play both on my laptop, so any help is greatly appreciated!

Do you start them with Origin? Reinstall Origin maybe..

you should not have a problem playing either on Win 10. I have and play TS2, TS3, and TS4 on my computer.

Are you running 32 or 64 bit Windows

No, the two should not interfere with one another.

I actually got a new laptop and they both work just fine, I installed it from disc so I'm gonna have to update it from origin but they both work!
