Nice to see they're going to university! @AlwaysAsking Christopher started at lvl 8 in the detective career Kali is cute! She spawned as a townie, I was surprised, townies don't always turn out so great I wanted to do something with her, but I'm not sure how. I saved her instead and uploaded her to the gallery for when I have I come up with something for her. As for the picture on the desk, it's a picture of Chelsea with her sister Hallie. When I moved Christopher and Daniel in there, I remembered that Chelsea used to live there, but completely forgot about the photo on the desk. @ryttu3k How's it like living in a dorm? I didn't choose to live in one because I read somewhere that the rent is too much.

Sims 4 Family: Benjamin, Shine, Princess Roddy, Sophia and Hamish Furystrykar and Shelly Heart. Princess Roddy is my avatar, and he's a boy!
A couple days after having dinner with Chelsea, Christopher invited her out again, he was going to try to make a move. Though it didn't work. He offered her a rose and she glared at him, and turned it down.
It made things kinda awkward throughout the dinner.
He even asked her about her love life but tried to change the subject. Chelsea did not like any of her his romantic advances.
Though Chelsea managed to make conversation. Although it didn't go well for Christopher, he waited a few days to try again. The romance festival came in San Myshuno so he gave it another shot. He spoke with the romance guru hoping to get a good fortunebut the guru told him his love life will be bleak. He wasn't giving up though, eventually after a few hours, there Chelsea finally accepted Christopher's embrace. Maybe she just felt like giving him a last shot.
The next day at work, Christopher was given a case, based on reports, an elder citizen burglarized a home and stole a tv and fridge. Very ambitious, Christopher thought to himself. He was tipped off the suspect would meet in a park and when he arrived he found 2 elderly men
but they were soon joined by 2 elder woman....wasn't expecting that
He asked all 4 and each pointed to a different elder
He took a shot and arrested a woman that was first pointed too
Turned out she was innocent. While he wasted time on that, the suspect struck again, this time in a bar!
Hegot tipped again that the suspect was around and found one of the elders from before and arrested him as well.He too was innocent though!
It was winterfest, and Christopher took Chelsea out to a museum. The two enjoyed it
They saw a picture of the lighthouse and wanted to see it up close.
They got up to it, and enjoyed the sight They went back to Christopher's apartment and all had some ham together.
When it was time for them to go home, Christopher pulled Chelsea aside and gave her his gift.
With the vacation over, Christopher went back to work on his case, he was stumped. He had arrested 2 elderly sims and both were innocent. He didn't have much to work with either, aside that they were an elder sim.
Finally Christopher decided, third times the charm. He found one sim at the park, and confronted the suspect. "Your very ambitious, if you hadn't burglarized the bar you would've gotten away with it" he told the man.
At the police station, he bluffed some information to intimidate his suspect
And it worked, he managed to record the mans whole confession.
Just a brief summary, as I'm still in my game. Right now, my Sims have experienced the second death this Term. They are all in their fifth term at Britechester U and Erik threw a Meet & Greet at the U's local pub/bar. Things were going just fine, when all of a sudden the group ran outside. Seems one of the Sims in attendance had passed away. There was much weeping and gnashing of teeth as a result. Happily, despite the unforeseen event, Erik wasn't penalized, although it might have scarred him for life. He lost a couple of Sims at a recent concert, too … Perhaps, someone is putting him on notice?
Then, just moments ago, yet another Sim died at the Dorm. She caught fire and nobody was able to reach her in time to help extinguish her. Erik was away at a photoshoot when it occurred. This has left my four sibling Sims in a very desperate state of mind. Their mother died in a similar manner. There was no fire inside their house, either, yet she was burned to death. Same with poor Michele Day. The fire was outside. Everybody liked her, she was a good Sim. She will be sorely missed.
And, as the player I feel as if I'm in a Sims' version of "And Then There Were None".
Shine took her three children, Roddy, Sophia and Hamish, to Darby's Den. Well, outside it anyway:

'Yes, that's my mummy! She's doing two classes of history at the University of Britechester' Roddy replied, smiling:
'Well, from what I've heard from other professors, she's doing very well!' Serena said:
'Before mummy enrolled, she and myself went on adventures in Selvadorada. Selvadorada's very pretty!' Roddy said, beaming. Serena smiled and hugged her new friend:

@DoloresGrey had a great day, thanks! And yeah, physically, Caleb and Raylan are identical. Same face, just different personality entirely.
Like it has always bothered me that 'Caleb' in the trailers (and even on the box art!) acts and looks so different to the in-game Caleb. The way he behaves clashes a ton with the Good Vampire aspiration. So the easy explanation? That's Raylan, not Caleb!
Here are some comparison shots, anyway! From left: Raylan's Dark form, Raylan (in the uni outfit I gave him), original Caleb, 'my' Caleb. Unfortunately I caught Dark!Raylan mid-blink, but he has red eyes like on the trailer.

Basically, functionally, Raylan and original!Caleb are identical. My Caleb is actually the outlier - he's slightly more tan, has brown eyes, and has tattoos and piercings. He's also much more modern in style - in-game, mine is only 22 and was recently turned. Where the difference lies is personality! Mine is much closer to the original Caleb in terms of traits and aspirations (materialistic foodie Good Vampires), whereas Raylan is very different.

@AngeliqueAdelaide XD I still need to work out what this Caleb's story is, too! This is a different save, so he's not 'my' Caleb. Honestly, I might replace him with my own actual version just to have something more solid to go off. I'd love to see Morgyn's makeover! This is my uni version, once I work out that wardrobe quirk I'll share the other outfits I made!

@BlueSeaWaves the rent isn't too bad, especially if you can get scholarships. The main frustration is that your Sims tend to pick up negative moodlets from roommates leaving smelly things around (or by being smelly things!), being noisy at all hours, stuff like that. Basically it's terribly realistic in that living with other people kind of sucks Still, it's good gameplay!
my female sim (her name is riley) opened up a holiday cracker and got SUPER excited after eating the candy that was inside of it. happy thanksgiving to everyone!!!!

Today, things were imported from a very very old save file of mine. Including the only non-starter house I ever built in the Sims 4 😅 (I'm not much of a builder!) AND Vlad's kids. EA ID: DinowCookie
Vlad's kids were born in-game in a previous save file. 🙃 They're named Hector and Marisol. Hector is the father to my vampire sim Annabel's son Nicholas. That's why I felt the urge to restore the family tree in my new save file. Annabel is my most-played, favorite Sims 4 character of all time. 💗 (Annabel is from the previous save file too, and I imported her first when starting a new save.)

I realized that the Get To Work expansion that I got yesterday, does fit one of my played sims perfectly. Esmé is a freelance florist after all! So I prepared a Florist shop for her, which I downloaded from RaeleeRowen on the gallery and tweaked to my liking. It's ready to be bought by the Wooleys now but Winter just doesn't feel like the proper season to open this shop. Waiting for Spring. Meanwhile, it'll just be sitting there across the street from Esmé's house. ⏳
Not a great amount of simming gameplay today due to the above ^ but I played through Winterfest with the Wooleys. No crazy parties this time, just opening presents in the morning, getting romantic during the day and sitting by the fireplace in the evening. 🔥 Esmé gave Charlie a self-made flower arrangement, after which Charlie went out to purchase a painting as a gift for Esmé. She got a small yet adorable painting of a pink flower. 🌺
Toddler Annie got a big yellow toy bus and Charlie got a fruit bowl from Father winter. (He's a glutton and eats A LOT of bad foods, could this be a hint? 🤣)

Well, my computer freaked out the other day and the game crashed, so we are "Groundhog Day-ing" it in the Babbit Household for the weekend. Harriet just got home for the weekend from after a long first week at her new job! She graduated from Britechester this last week with a 4.0 in Language & Lit, so she is hard at work trying to impress the firm with gaining new clients this weekend. She is also going to see her childhood best friend, who just became her boyfriend, and go on a date with him Saturday. They are going to have a movie night and spend their first night together!! We hear wedding bells for them in the future! Harriet's twin brother, Harrison, fell behind in his last three terms, and got suspended this last week. He was finally able to reenroll yesterday, so this weekend, he is putting his nose to the grindstone and has begun getting a jumpstart on homework and his final presentation. He's also been having several affairs here lately, but he's trying to score a second chance date with an ex-high school sweetheart. Their cousin, Reagan, who also graduated from Britechester last weekend with a Drama degree, has started his first week off in the Comedy career very strong! He has written a few routines and is going on a date with his boyfriend tonight. <3
It's been a minute. Ryan and Katherine are parents to not one, but THREE, kids! Katherine gave birth to boy/girl twins I named Felicity and (of course) Ryder. They're toddlers- with Mom and Dad having become adults a couple days after.

@Ellupelluellu wow - did you just use the gender change button then edit hair & outfits? So much to comment on! Firstly I loved ted playing basketball with Bjorn Barnarby LÁmoure is a hottie. Geoffrey and Nancy are freakily similar to the originals _ maybe Geoffrey didn't just take Nancy's last name perhaps they were closer genetically then we want to think - pity this game doesn't show cousins! Molly is fabulous but that attitude is worse than Malcolm's we need @AlwaysAsking with her parenthood pack skills. The Goths still are an attractive interesting family. Roberta is a cutie and I would avoid Elias if I saw him coming down the street (so sounds about right for that household). The Calliente's look good but Donna OMG!!!! No male (and probably female) sim is safe ever again if she gets loose in a game. That look, That pose....
For attractive people Bjorn and Clara make horrible gender swaps urrghh burn it with fire. But Sonny and Eddie both are very cute (Sonny looks just like Bjorn's son Edvin Ollie in my game). Mike Munch, Wolly Munch and lucy Munch are awesome and I want them in my game as a family yesterday. I think Wolly looks more fun then Wolfgang and Mike is way more attractive than Mila (or perhaps it is just the dad bod calling to me).
Spencer Kim Lewis meh (the originals are meh too and I largely ignore them). I adore Countess Valerina Straud, she is as weirdly attractive as Vlad is and looks like a powerful vampire should _ i feel she is like Vlad's older sister who is disappointed in him for some reason (must just be the expression and pose). There are some many households I would like to see too - Joni Zest Joni Zest Joni Zest LOL Are you planning on doing more or do we have to do our own? (J. is another I would love to see.)
@BlueSeaWaves I liked the Christopher update. At least elders turned up - when I was playing the career I had a description of a teen with black trousers and white hair (I think it was probably Wolfgang) but no teens ever came to the lots my sim visited. Glad Chelsea gave him a chance.

Mmkay I actually have a little bit to share, had some more fun spamming uni...uni is pulling a seasons and making me play differently not that I mind that is.
Cori and Hugo enjoying their last day together knowing that he will be leaving soon, she's gonna miss him and has been slipping out late, though you wouldn't know from her grades she's grown more erratic with every day passing until she loses him. Temporary but she's never been quite right and that is before she was ever given her beloved soccor ball...she never even joined the team. Maybe gen 2 we'll see, she hasn't gotten attention from the secret society either. Not for lack of trying with her constant research and offering but she enjoys searching up other conspiracy theories all the same.
As Hugo's graduation comes, he graduated with honors and straight A+ yeah I push all my sims mmhmm, anyways I decided since the other sims don't actually attend that the girls would take him like they took Mickey. A group outing started that way and she showed up, Becca was thrilled to see her, almost as much as Mickey was to see her heh isn't she pretty? She likes an excuse to dress up since she as comfy for college.
at home Hugo whispered some sweet nothings really wishing he could just marry Cori already but he was so glad to be done, and to be at the top of his class he couldn't really take that away from her so he'd wait.

Though the pair both have to be without their sweethearts at least they have eachother. Also he makes 197 an hour and she makes 157 an hour I imagine the apartment will be quite temporary.
I also forgot to have him bring a pic of Becca so Cori will have to do it since she's next.

Edit I forgot to mention they still have skills to work on, perhaps if they studied more they might have gotten more or just basic skilling. However I like it that way so it's not the end of their learning, I'm just like that. They have to work on it to keep those paychecks though.

Here are some comparison shots, anyway! From left: Raylan's Dark form, Raylan (in the uni outfit I gave him), original Caleb, 'my' Caleb. Unfortunately I caught Dark!Raylan mid-blink, but he has red eyes like on the trailer.

Basically, functionally, Raylan and original!Caleb are identical. My Caleb is actually the outlier - he's slightly more tan, has brown eyes, and has tattoos and piercings. He's also much more modern in style - in-game, mine is only 22 and was recently turned. Where the difference lies is personality! Mine is much closer to the original Caleb in terms of traits and aspirations (materialistic foodie Good Vampires), whereas Raylan is very different.

@AngeliqueAdelaide XD I still need to work out what this Caleb's story is, too! This is a different save, so he's not 'my' Caleb. Honestly, I might replace him with my own actual version just to have something more solid to go off. I'd love to see Morgyn's makeover! This is my uni version, once I work out that wardrobe quirk I'll share the other outfits I made!

@BlueSeaWaves the rent isn't too bad, especially if you can get scholarships. The main frustration is that your Sims tend to pick up negative moodlets from roommates leaving smelly things around (or by being smelly things!), being noisy at all hours, stuff like that. Basically it's terribly realistic in that living with other people kind of sucks

Vlad's kids were born in-game in a previous save file. 🙃 They're named Hector and Marisol. Hector is the father to my vampire sim Annabel's son Nicholas. That's why I felt the urge to restore the family tree in my new save file. Annabel is my most-played, favorite Sims 4 character of all time. 💗 (Annabel is from the previous save file too, and I imported her first when starting a new save.)

The house looks much better in the side preview. It has four bedrooms and three bathrooms, it's a family home with one toddler, one child, and two double bedrooms. 😊
I realized that the Get To Work expansion that I got yesterday, does fit one of my played sims perfectly. Esmé is a freelance florist after all! So I prepared a Florist shop for her, which I downloaded from RaeleeRowen on the gallery and tweaked to my liking. It's ready to be bought by the Wooleys now but Winter just doesn't feel like the proper season to open this shop. Waiting for Spring. Meanwhile, it'll just be sitting there across the street from Esmé's house. ⏳
Not a great amount of simming gameplay today due to the above ^ but I played through Winterfest with the Wooleys. No crazy parties this time, just opening presents in the morning, getting romantic during the day and sitting by the fireplace in the evening. 🔥 Esmé gave Charlie a self-made flower arrangement, after which Charlie went out to purchase a painting as a gift for Esmé. She got a small yet adorable painting of a pink flower. 🌺
Toddler Annie got a big yellow toy bus and Charlie got a fruit bowl from Father winter. (He's a glutton and eats A LOT of bad foods, could this be a hint? 🤣)

@DoloresGrey I like the reverted goths - Cassandra is about 50% each parent isn't she. Alexander as Bella is something else! i can imagine Don going up to what he thought was Bella in the club and hgetting the shock of his life when Alexander turns around. And proposing servos is very sweet. Did you see the thread where someones male servo got abducted by aliens and had an alien pregnancy? this game LOL

For attractive people Bjorn and Clara make horrible gender swaps urrghh burn it with fire. But Sonny and Eddie both are very cute (Sonny looks just like Bjorn's son Edvin Ollie in my game). Mike Munch, Wolly Munch and lucy Munch are awesome and I want them in my game as a family yesterday. I think Wolly looks more fun then Wolfgang and Mike is way more attractive than Mila (or perhaps it is just the dad bod calling to me).
Spencer Kim Lewis meh (the originals are meh too and I largely ignore them). I adore Countess Valerina Straud, she is as weirdly attractive as Vlad is and looks like a powerful vampire should _ i feel she is like Vlad's older sister who is disappointed in him for some reason (must just be the expression and pose). There are some many households I would like to see too - Joni Zest Joni Zest Joni Zest LOL Are you planning on doing more or do we have to do our own? (J. is another I would love to see.)
@BlueSeaWaves I liked the Christopher update. At least elders turned up - when I was playing the career I had a description of a teen with black trousers and white hair (I think it was probably Wolfgang) but no teens ever came to the lots my sim visited. Glad Chelsea gave him a chance.

Cori and Hugo enjoying their last day together knowing that he will be leaving soon, she's gonna miss him and has been slipping out late, though you wouldn't know from her grades she's grown more erratic with every day passing until she loses him. Temporary but she's never been quite right and that is before she was ever given her beloved soccor ball...she never even joined the team. Maybe gen 2 we'll see, she hasn't gotten attention from the secret society either. Not for lack of trying with her constant research and offering but she enjoys searching up other conspiracy theories all the same.
As Hugo's graduation comes, he graduated with honors and straight A+ yeah I push all my sims mmhmm, anyways I decided since the other sims don't actually attend that the girls would take him like they took Mickey. A group outing started that way and she showed up, Becca was thrilled to see her, almost as much as Mickey was to see her heh isn't she pretty? She likes an excuse to dress up since she as comfy for college.
at home Hugo whispered some sweet nothings really wishing he could just marry Cori already but he was so glad to be done, and to be at the top of his class he couldn't really take that away from her so he'd wait.

Edit I forgot to mention they still have skills to work on, perhaps if they studied more they might have gotten more or just basic skilling. However I like it that way so it's not the end of their learning, I'm just like that. They have to work on it to keep those paychecks though.
