Now the real struggle begins - fighting this becoming a stereotypical grandma pack. Seriously, I'm begging people, no lacy doilies, no chintz, no polyester pantsuits, and for the love of the Watchers no taupe.

You'll pay $10 for a granny pack and you'll like it
So instead of playing the Grim Reaper Freelance career I can watch my sims ... knitting stuff. Probably while waiting for the laundry to be done ._.
Lmao, I wanted Happy Haunts too. Can't believe knitting won out of all the activities, well I don't have to buy it so it's fine but I hope they bring out a stuff pack for happy haunts for us simmers who don't like our game so realistic.

But I want lacy doilies. q~q

I'm okay with it becoming an elder pack - provided that it doesn't feed into the ageist, outdated, plum stereotype of what "elders" are like (. Give me an aging hippy elders pack, with attendant WooHoo, herbs and Rock and Roll undercurrents. Or Elders who still dance to Swing Jazz, or... anything that breaks the stereotype, or pokes fun at it, or something.

I hope to gosh this isn't the ONLY thing..I hope...
It says "theme". I guess the main focus will be on knitting, maybe? There must be more than this.
I've said it on another thread before (some time ago tho) and I say it again: Laundry Day already showed that giving the community the chance to vote on a pack is not a good idea. I hate doing laundry in real life, I don't enjoy watching my sims do that. I bought the pack for CAS. And of course the most boring choice won again this time It was exciting to see all the options and to vote but the result is disappointing.
The only good thing is that the devs can't be blamed this time (I also can't stand all the complaints whenever a new pack - normal ones - comes out).
If the vote on the CAS stuff turns out like this then this stuff pack will be the very first pack of TS4 that I won't buy.

This but unironically.
I voted for Happy Haunts, but Arts & Crafts was a close second, so I'm happy with this. I'd pay $10 for it, if only for the extra hobby for my sims.
