Hi :) I read you don't work hair, but what if it just needs an added specular? I got some hair that don't have a specular in the package and opening it with TSR Workshop also doesn't show a specular. I need the spectacular so I can replace it with a small black square to remove the shine. Hair is here https://inkwisteria.tumblr.com/post/152602520593/daybreak-8-hairs-conversionsedits-by-inkwisteria called Pu+Chi Light Short Let me know if you can work it, otherwise no worries! :)
@CookieLady Glad you were able to find an alternative because I can't get any download link on the page listed to actually work.
Though, for future reference, you can download the program S3PE: http://www.simlogical.com/s3pe.htm and import any CC packages in there. All the textures will be tagged IMG, so they're easy to find. So you can replace the specular that way in the future.
@ZeeGee Okay, so I've been messing with the teeth and I have no idea what I'm doing wrong but nothing is working. I'll keep trying as my brain hatches ideas, but for now I'm stumped. None of VP's stuff will import into TSRW; And, while I know how to change categories through S3PE, any time I change categories it just doesn't show up.

Nice tip, thank you. ^^
Saw you did a really nice size redone of some S-club CC, and was wondering if you could look at mine too? Its two pieces of S-club CC that I was hoping you could flip on the other eye as well. That way I can have a right and a left version of the same eyepatch? Would that be possible? cc1- http://www.mediafire.com/file/nee7bsvwdzxj4go/S-Club_%255Bts3-eyepatch%255D_n4.package/file cc2- http://www.mediafire.com/file/wip6fx60zqke9ij/S-Club_%255Bts3-eyepatch%255D_n1.package/file
And boom. I didn't bother getting preview pics because this one wasn't a very big to-do. But, I did really like the eyepatches, so thank you @CookieLady for having me work on them for you!
I tried them out but they were overwriting the originals, instances must be the same. So I chased the packages into s3 workshop and changed assigned ages, like removed elders and teens. Instances changed when I exported it and it shows up beautifully! Can always change the ages later in that editing program you showed. Really easy to edit categories and ages that one. As long as it doesn't result in crazy monster babies ofc!
Thank you very much for flipping it over, very happy. :)
Should I share my little edits too? I'm very sorry if that is not the forum etiquette!
@CookieLady Ah, didn't think of that! Thank you for uploading your versions.
EDIT: I know why the instances were the same. I didn't think about it at the time, but for some reason TSRW kept crashing when I tried to import the flipped mesh. So, instead, I converted it to a GEOM, assigned it a shader, and just replaced it in the original file. That's my bad.
Really quickly, I re-enabled the ages on the new version @CookieLady provided. This way, they shouldn't overwrite each other, but they will also have the appropriate teen-elder female and male CAS categories.

Dont feel bad, you're doing great work here. Its very appreciated! You're making simmers here happy with what you do :)
@budewarmin Ya know, it's silly, but it also makes him look like some aristocratic vampire's mindless servant. *commits idea to memory bank of story ideas never to be realized*

Not sure if you can help with this cc but thought I'd ask anyway.
I found these lovely curtains (converted by millascreativecorner who has not answered my request as she is on hiatus).
I did make them shiftable because they were very low on the window. The flaw is that you can see the window frame on the side that is tied up. Also a slight bump in the fabric at the very top that I could live with. There is also a right curtain and a left curtain. Both have these flaws.
But this is the bad news. This is what it looks like from the other side, yipes!
I understand if you have no desire or cannot fix this but as I've said, I thought I'd ask anyway.
Thanks so much for your time and consideration!
(will post link to download if this is doable for you, thanks again!)
@KatyFernlily I can do that, yeah. The issue is that The Sims 3 doesn't render backfaces of anything. Instead, the backfaces are kind of just...invisible. It's typically not a big deal with clothing since the backfaces there are seldom seen, but for this...yeah...that's an oof.
@KatyFernlily Hmm that link sends me to Mediafire's homepage. Are you sure that's the right one? And, to be honest, I work mostly with CAS stuff so I have very little idea how most build/buy mode things work, so I'm afraid I don't really know how to go about making them shiftable.
And for anyone that is curious about making curtains shiftable, it's very easy. This mini tutorial is from Kynan. (I believe this is only for .package files?)
Open in S3PE - Click on "OBJD" then select "Grid" for data box. Open drop down on "Wall Placement Flags" check "CanBeMovedUpDownOnWall" (true) - "WallPlacementFlags" select true for "on wall" and "applyCutOutDiagonalShift" - Then in section "ObjectTypeFlags" select true for "AllowWallObjectOnGround".

@CookieLady Noticed the eyepatches had overwritten each other and went ahead and edited them to make their instance different. Here are the updated files:

I'll get pics later to show the two.

@CookieLady You're too sweet.
@ZeeGee
Cool idea. I myself have too much unrealised plot ideas unfortunately.

If you'd like or if it's not too much trouble, could you make them shiftable? Please?
It's ok...don't worry about shiftable. I can do that in S3PE.
And it's ok if you can't fix it. I was just asking if you were willing to give it a shot.
Thanks!
