I did it, I got up at 3:30. I planned for it and went to bed early with my alarm set for 4 am, and I woke up early from the hype anyways. I hope you are having a fantastic time in this game today! I was able to completed the primate tutorial level before I had to head to work this morning. Making the chimps happy was the biggest challenge.
@simgirl1010 I can definitely see where the review is coming from in that article, and if someone were to pick this game up to play casually, it would be hard for them to get into it. For me, I find a game I like, like the sims, and I put hours and hours into it, so it makes taking the time to learn the system worth it. Planet Zoo is definitely a game I am going to put hours and hours into, I'm at 40 so far between the beta and the past 3 days.
How is your game going? Do you have any color mutations yet?
I've installed it but have yet to play. 😕 Started babysitting my twin granddaughters this week and I've been too pooped to play. 😄 Hopefully this weekend.
TheThe first time protesters showed up at my zoo, I felt a mixture of panic, guilt, and relief.
I hadn’t installed a water filter, and my freshwater crocodiles were suffering because of the incorrect water properties of their enclosure. This wasn’t just a success meter falling in the game, but a set of animals I had enclosed, put under my own care, and then neglected to care for properly in the public eye. I felt guilt as much as regret. I was worried that the harm would be irreversible, both to the animals I was here to protect and to the reputation of my zoo. And I was already in a financially precarious situation with my zoo, which is where the panic came from.
Still haven't had a chance to play yet but seems like that's a good thing because there were a few glitches when released. Now with DU releasing it'll probably be a bit longer before I play.
Anyone here has an active YouTube channel that currently playing the Planet Zoo? My current guilty pleasure since last November is watching the Planet Zoo Franchise Play while playing with my Sims. I would like to subscribe & watch you play.
So far, my favourite channels are Party Elite, TmarTn2 & sometimes James Turner.

Zoo Tycoon was pretty much my childhood and what introduced me to PC gaming so I'm pretty hyped for Planet Zoo  > > It also helps get rid of my doubts about it since Frontier Developments also made Planet Coaster and if Planet Zoo has similar building mechanics as that one, I'd never see the sun for at least half a month when PZoo is released
I still enjoy Zoo tycoon, It only holds my attention for about 2 days at a time, but thats nice during the summer. Nothing keeping me inside yet I enjoy the PC in the AC in the evening and on rainy days as I can.
