    Did the livestream say whether we could alter the commons without cheats?

    I didn’t catch if we could alter the commons building. I was thinking some gym stuff might be good to include there. I hate to have to mess with cheats though.

      They said there are objects you can buy from a kiosk and drag from your inventory.

      I'm pretty sure (but not 100%) that the commons can be edited freely. The dorms can too (from the world map) if you don't have a sim currently living there. At least that's how I interpreted some of what they said.

      As long as no active sims live there, you're free to edit as you please. Otherwise, yeah, you need to use cheats.

      The commons are freely editable, yes. So you'll be able to add gym stuff and whatever else in them as needed.
      It's only the dorms (University Housing) that have editing restricted to either cheats or when no one lives there.

      You can although the empty house in the central town area I plan to make a gym.
