@king_of_simcity7 I can relate to the managing lots of sims at the same time - worst was a wedding with 20-some sims in my household and most of the town invited! Posing, posing and swearing
@Pary that house is gorgeous!
I don't build much on The Sims 3(when I want to build I play TS4 because I feel like the B&B is easier in that game) but you make me wanna try building in The Sims 3
@KatyFernlily Is that from the Cotswolds? I have never been there but it is pretty much the area that JK Rowling was from. Look up 'Church Cottage' where she lived:
It would be interesting to see a whole Sims village based on that architecture but of course you can make it in The Sims 3
Horsa stands for 'Hutting Operation Raising of School leaving age' and where built between 1947 until 1949 as a program for proving additional accommodating to Britain's schools after WW2 to provide extra teaching spaces and workshops when the school leaving age had been raised from 14 to 15 in 1947. Every school would have had these and they where designed by the Ministry of works.
They would resemble WW2 Nissian huts and built of the same materials. I have made some of my own in The Sims
Few remain today but there are some exceptions
Also included is the 'Kitchen/ dinning room unit of the same materials:
I love featuring this in my story as the main social hub where many conversations (and some drams) take place
This is the "Storer House" another Frank Lloyd Wright classic recreated masterfully in the Sims by QubeDesign.
It took a little terra-forming, but it mangaged to fit into this world quite nicely. ☕😎
@KatyFernlily Fantastic interior work on the Lighthouse, it looks very warm and natural, with a nautical theme and I love seeing new furniture in peoples games.

It is said that one idea for the original name of The Sims was simply going to be dollhouse.
I prefer calling it The Sims!
@KatyFernlily Your builds are truly awesome - I fell in love with your light house right away!
@king_of_simcity7 Here are some classrooms in my game!
I have one from a college as well so a large lecture room rather than a classroom but it did take a while to get Sims in place!

Nice.....
Britain did have prefab houses as well. Rare now but some do still exist:
I believe that some entire areas of prefab buildings existed with prefab houses and a Horsa type school
I feel I'm an amatuer and have seen some fabulous creations here and elsewhere.
It took a little terra-forming, but it mangaged to fit into this world quite nicely. ☕😎
Really beautiful!!
LOVE!
Where did you find that pink climbing rose vine? I love having moss and climbing vines on the houses in my game!

I do this a lot. I can't find many pictures of the ones I have done... This is one of the latest.
It's not exact but I think it's cute.
