Today was Avery's birthday! She's finally aging up into a full blown adult (Open the spoiler tag) Ignore Talia's upset face lol. She was going through some things

After the mini birthday party, Avery explained to her mother that she's become a witch and that she knows the dedeadify spell which could bring her back to life!
Unfortunately she messed up the spell...
and ended up turning herself into ghost while resurrecting her mother! (pictures in the spoiler tag)
She got better though lol
Even though Avery was now a lot older, she still felt like her regular young self until one morning she was looking in the mirror and...
Avery: "Is that... A WRINKLE???
Avery: "No no no, this can't be happening! I'm not that old yet, am I?
Later that day when Zion was back home from work, Avery was still freaking out
Avery: "ZION I FOUND A WRINKLE! THIS IS THE WORST DAY OF MY LIFE! I CAN'T BE GETTING OLD YET, I HAVE SO MUCH MORE LIFE TO LIVE. YOU DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS IS LIKE MAN, YOU'RE A VAMPIRE, YOU GET TO LIVE FOREVER, BUT ME? THIS IS IT DUDE, I'M DONE, IM FINISHED!

Avery: "That's right. No parties, no drinking and no messing up my house, got that?

First Lina married Joaquin Le Chien. They had Adam, Bella, Cole & Diana together, before Joaquin died. Then Lina married Diego Lobo. They had Elina, Filip, Gina, Hyolyn & Isla together, before Diego died. Then Lina married Mortimer Goth. They had Jonghyun, Knut & Lia together, before Mortimer died.
Lina has many grandchildren and some great grandchildren. The Vera family is the biggest family so far.

@Hoverael I play the Vatores, so obviously I'm slightly biased, but vampires are really fun The sale runs through to the 1st, so you'll have a few days to decide!
@Tixyen yeah, thankfully there wasn't anything irreplacable in there! (Although I won't lie, I did get lazy and refill some stuff from the debug menu, haha. And took the opportunity to get him a better camera, too!) And thanks! A lot of the plants are from GTW and RoM, with a ton from Pawlly/ThyFaerytale's gorgeous Celestial recolours. Gorgeous pieces for alien or magical gardens!
@sarabeth2984 some of them are from Sixam! A lot of them are the Celestial recolours I linked in my reply to Tixyen, they're beautiful. And I had Bella as a spellcaster, but otherwise, same. Used the cheats to give Mortimer and the kids the Ancient Bloodline trait with the idea that the Goths are an ooold magical family, and Bella did the Rite of Ascension when she met Mortimer. She ended up ridiculously powerful due to basically being a Weirdness Magnet. Alternate dimensions are involved. The result is that Cassandra is ridiculously powerful too, and Alexander will be when he ages up. Good to know about the gnomes!
So, the latest! First, and technically not actual gameplay, but I did a photoshoot with the Vatores and Johnny for Spooky Day! It's over on my Simstagram account for Caleb here. Caleb is an extremely glam New Romantic pirate, Johnny has gone steampunk, and Lilith is a sci fi action hero!

I built their dream home using a real home floorpan so its a two-story home with 4 bd/2.5 bath, a pantry, formal living and dining, breakfast nook, bonus room, family room, laundry room and a nice size backyard for their future children to play in and for the pair to do a little gardening.
Julissa has been busy taking care of the house and pulling back a bit from her [overly lucrative] job as a Beauty Vlogger. J has received several promotions in the Programming field and is currently an e-gamer bringing home around $1400 a day. They discovered that they were expecting and are getting ready to welcome a little boy to their home who they are planning to name, Khaos.
J and Julissa are also hosting their first Harvest Day in their home for the first time and will be spending the day with their best friends, Arun and Jesminder Bheeda. Jesminder has three children so she's been helping Julissa prepare for her first and giving her advice.

I spent the sim weekend hanging out with the Silversweater-Munch family again.
Wolfgang had finished his homework and a workout and wanted to meet up with his friend Cassandra. He had a bit of a crush on the fellow witch
She said she’d meet him at the Willowcreek Museum. How boring
He asks Indiana the fox the to wish him luck

He meets Cassandra at the museum. She was in a mood. All she did was complain about her weird parents and family
Cassandra comes from a long line of very powerful witches. She lives with her parents, Mortimer and Bella Goth and little brother Alexander. She also lives with her grandparents Gunther and Cornelia Goth and Aunt Agnes Crumplebottom (These are my versions of the Goth family) I got the info based on the previous sims games but tweaked them a bit to make them a bit more interesting;) Cornelia/Agnes/Gunther I downloaded from the Gallery. I can’t remember the original ea id, but once I track them down I will post them. They did a FANTASTIC job on these sims. Especially Mrs. Crumplebottom. She is just like the original Mrs. Crumplebottom. She will start a fight with any flirty sims lol!! I just tweaked them a bit for my save

Mortimer is a noted newspaper editor and journalist but aspires to be a novelist. He is a warlock but had no interest in pursuing the Craft. (I aged him down to YA)

But had been turned into a vampire several years ago her friend/old boyfriend Griffin Morecombe
Cassandra’s family also includes her paternal grandparents, Gunther and Cornelia Goth.
Gunther’s family had founded the town of Willow Creek a very long time ago. He works as an investor.
He married Cornelia Goth, formerly Cornelia Crumplebottom, after high school.
She was a famous novelist but had recently retired. She wrote famous history texts and novels inspired by her adventures in archeology. She was once a famous archeologist and retired early so she could pursue her passion. She had traveled the world hunting for ancient artifacts. She was currently mentoring some old students/associates of hers, Agnes Morecombe and Rachel Beauchamp.
She was also descended from a long line of powerful witches. She had one younger twin sister, Agnes Crumplebottom.
Agnes had a reputation for being very annoying. She was unflirty and very vocal about it lol
Cornelia and Agnes were constantly fighting lol. Agnes insults Cornelia, so Cornelia turned her into a cactus lol!
Both sisters are virtuosos in the Craft and felt it was demeaning to learn from “Sages in the Magic Realm.” A witch was supposed to join a coven and learn from them. They were currently training up young Cassandra
I haven’t decided what Alexander will be yet….
They all live in a creepier version of the mansion

Mortimer and Cassandra are descended from a long line of spellcasters on his mother's side, but Bella was turned into a vampire. Mortimer's parents and aunt live with them as well. Gunther is a regular sim, but his wife and mother of Mortimer, Cornelia, is a top level witch. Her twin sister Mrs. Agnes Crumplebotttom is also a witch. They have formed a coven and are currently training Cassandra. I think I am going to turn Alexander into a wizard like his father, I don't know yet...

It's one of WMS' recolours!

I hope that the grandchildren had left before Bob and Marie died. And that's really incredible that they died at the exact same time! 😳 I would have thought he was at least a couple days older than her, because he was a premade.
And I feel very bad for Pearl. This is why I don't think I could ever play with aging on. The new baby will only have a little time with her dad, because he's going to be an elder, that's so sad.😢
Yes I suppose Bob didn't have much time to bring the violin skill up. Hopefully he had fun doing it.
That is a big problem with Benjamin though. If he's being paid miserably, and is so bad at telling jokes that he doesn't get any tips, then it is probably time for him to change his job 🤔

Ok now, your memorial to Bob and Marie is making me cry. I had forgotten so much of the story. Now I remember how adorable the little twins were, and all the fun they always had on vacation, and how sweet and loving they were. It's just too heartbreaking 😢
The wedding vows at the end is the part that really did me in. So sweet ❤️
But, a little baby named Josie remind us that life goes on.
Now that Pearl's fiance is an elder, are they going to get married anytime soon?
Does Pearl have her own job? Or does she earn all her money from arranging flowers? I'm worried that they won't have enough money after her fiance dies.
Is your sim going to be able to use the plants that she harvested from Island Living for her bakery business? That seems like it would be fun. And where is the bakery? Which world?
Oh, yes that makes sense that Morgan and Wolfgang would struggle when they can't get any help from their parents. And the lower levels of any career really don't pay very well.
I'm glad you think that Lillith is funny. 😄 I do plan to share more about them. It's pretty fun having them in my game, even though I don't have the vampire pack.
LOL I had to laugh when you said that Salim and Diana are so in love it's almost sickening 😄 I have Sims like that too.
Your update is really wonderful. It seemed like Leah was going to be a bit troublesome for a while, but becoming a spellcaster has really helped.
It's awesome that she worked so hard just to bring back Aleki. And seeing her crying by his grave is very touching.

I can't tell you how bad I felt for Steve when you pointed out that Peter and Tony are both gone all day. Maybe it's a good thing that Peter doesn't have a lot of children as friends, cuz it sure seems like Steve needs him.

Lillith blowing the bubbles in McKenna's face is the greatest. McKenna clearly has her emotions under control, because she looks like she's not terribly pleased with the bubbles in her face LMAO 😂
It's amazing that they were able to get Lillith a laptop, it's going to help her so much. And it's great that Max read the parenting book, and realized how important it is for toddlers to learn their skills. I think this family is going to be okay! 😊
Wow, I'm sure at the time it was quite annoying that you had to keep restarting your sim Erik, but it seems to have worked out well in the end. A global superstar in 12 days! I would think that was a record. And $10,000 a night concerts seems like he's doing great, and doesn't really need to go to the university LOL

Everyone is very excited about the University pack. I'm not going to run out and buy it right away. I'm still having too much fun with Island living, because I just got it, whereas other people have had it forever.
I guess I'll watch the stories that all of you guys write about it, and make my decision then. I don't really want to slow down my game anymore than it already is.

The Quincy story happened right after I got the game, and I didn't take nearly enough screenshots. I do have a ton of them, but I can't find a single one of Andrew crying and yelling at Penny for being out with other people, and that was the funniest part of the whole story. I'm not sure that I could recreate just those scenes either, because Sims always act differently every time you restart them you know? Idk, I'll have to see what I can do 😄 I did spot Andrew walking around town the other day, looking all miserable and stuff 😅 He probably saw Penny smile at somebody (for gosh sakes)

Hey! That was a really awesome way to reintroduce your characters. It was good to read about them again because I had forgotten some of that history.
Cassandra and Wolfgang are very cute together. Although I think Cassandra might beat Wolfgang in complaining about weird parents aspect. 😄

I really love how you put that part in about people who steal other people's belongings. I know somebody who lost an antique cross necklace that her grandmother had given to her when somebody robbed their home.

This happened about a week ago in my game, but I hadn't had a chance to write the story down yet, so here it is.
If I hadn't seen some of the things that @Becka28 's Sims do, I would never think that this is what it looks like. But now I have a feeling that it is.
This is a story about my teenage spellcasters; Rose, Laney, and Diego Lobo (aged down to a teen, and with his original hair color).
Some of you may remember this scene when Rose and Laney tried to convince Ricardo Rodriguez that he should go out with Diego, because Diego had a crush on him. Ricardo said no, that Diego did not sound very interesting. And that's why Laney looks so mad.
But it really wasn't that big of a deal because it was at one of their Magical Teen club meetings and Diego ended up making friends with a boy named Hermes.
They went from a friendly duel, to a "friendly" time in the closet in record time.
And now they're always together and always have fun. I've never seen Diego Lobo smile as much as he does in this save.

I just recently put this part of this story up. It's the time that I played as Diego's boyfriend Hermes.
Hermes, and five other boys live together with a caretaker in Glimmerbrook. Ricardo Rodriguez is one of the other boys.
As usual, Hermes and Diego were quite adorable with each other.
But in this picture it looks as though Hermes thinks that something is off.
And I noticed something. (Don't mind Diego, he was so tired he could hardly walk, and he couldn't keep his eyes open, but he's always so happy with Hermes that he smiles)
They left the dining room together, to go to Hermes' room, because Diego was spending the night.
I noticed that Ricardo was looking like this. When I wrote this part the first time, I mentioned that I wondered if he had regrets about rejecting Diego in the first place, but I never thought anything more about it.
But then all of this happened.
I was playing as Diego again, and he'd come to the Magical Realm to fight some duels. Apparently he annoyed this young man, I don't remember how.
This is a picture of how Ricardo, and the people from his household, show up in the Magical Realm nowadays. I've never played as anybody else in that family except Hermes. (I did put wonderful clothes on all of them, for all of the outfits that they need to wear, such as party, hot weather, etc. in CAS, but of course this is how they come to the Realm 🙄).
So imagine my surprise when Ricardo just walks up to Diego, in one of the outfits that I made for him, and starts to flirt with him!
Diego was not amused, and wanted nothing to do with him.
And then this series of interactions began, and I have no idea what was being said, because all that it said for Diego was that he was chatting with Ricardo and Morgyn.
I did not direct Diego to do anything, I just watched what happened. And I found it to be absolutely amazing.
Diego was having none of it.
Watching the smug looks that he gave Ricardo was hysterical.
I couldn't tell whose side Morgyn was on, because sometimes he was looking reproachfully at Diego, but sometimes it was at Ricardo.
What is your opinion? I can't think of it as being anything else except Ricardo trying to steal Diego away from Hermes.
I have discovered that Rose probably has a crush on Ricardo, she is with him pretty often. She showed up here autonomously, and looked like she wanted to help Ricardo.
Ricardo was getting madder by the minute.
And Diego was completely unconcerned 😅
At this point I started queuing up things for Diego again. He had come there to practice dueling, so we went down into the yard to find someone to duel. He found a willing partner quite easily.
But the other guy never had a bit of a chance.
Diego had such a confident moodlet going that the other spellcaster was down before he could even strike at Diego.

Hermes showed up, and Diego was very pleased to see him.
I've never seen Diego act this way before, but I can imagine him feeling vindicated and powerful, because Ricardo had to come and beg for him, when Ricardo was the one that rejected Diego in the first place.
Ricardo continued to be extremely angry.
And then very sad.
But Rose was finally able to talk to him.
And in the end he felt fine.
Happily, they are all friends again. If you saw my update about the house I’m building for them then you’ll have seen this photo. Ricardo dropped in at their house, like Darrel did, and sat next to Rose for dinner! But you can only see the back of his head here 😂
You sound like you are enjoying the City Living expansion a great deal. I'm very happy to hear that!
A few things I discovered over time, while building things in the city:
The TLC apartments are nearly impossible to live in. I put families in there that just need to be "in game," but never played. So I'll put a family of eight into one of them, because it doesn't matter if there are't enough beds, etc. I'm never going to go in there and play them.
The reasons that the unremoveable things are in those apartments is exactly what you said, to make them impossible to set up very well, and you can't get rid of the mice, so they wake you up all night every night. There's other nasty things, but I can't even remember them because I refuse to try to make it work to live there.
But that was what I was referring to when I said that there were cheat codes to make those places livable. I have not tried them yet, because I have not needed that space for actual families that I want to play.
The other thing that I found out, completely by accident, is that the Fountainview Penthouse is completely rebuildable. As in, you could almost bulldoze that lot, and restart it. I can't remember if you can move the elevator or not, but even if you can't, you can build around it. And as far as I can remember, you can build any kind of structure, of any height you want, on that rooftop! 😊
The other thing that kept messing with me was the height of the walls. I would think that they were high enough to take the basketball court and then it would turn out that they're not. That got annoying.
I ended up using open concept apartments in the Jasmine suites building. The height of the walls, as compared to the small size of the apartment, made them very difficult for me to furnish.
Penny Pizzazz is amazing, I've used her in all three of my saves, and she was quite fun every time!
I'm at the Parenthood pack for so long it's hard for me to remember what it was like before it was there. It is really nice to be able to do the work to get the children to be the best they can be. I don't remember if you've ever played the land grabs, but Malcolm actually has the mean trait, not evil, but mean. And through the Parenthood interactions, I was able to get him to the point where he gets very angry with himself if he performs a mean interaction.
And you're so right about the things that are much easier to attain, like manners and responsibility.
Tobias Lancaster's house sounds like it will be completely amazing! If you get that all set up you should do some screenshots and let us see. I've never done much with it. As I've mentioned, I'm not fond of the apartments with the highest walls.
And I like the sound of the new family, the Bazeley's. A Lifelong family of politicians and activists in San Myshuno! Cool
Penny is in the social media career when you go and play her. I don't think she's real high up but, she at least has some skills and a start in the job. She was a lot of fun to play. I find the politician job to be nearly impossible, and I've never gotten anywhere in it, but I know a lot of other people do!
I'm finding it so odd that people are talking about the sale, and it doesn't seem like everybody has the same things on sale.
Example, the fitness stuff pack is not on sale for me, but the spooky stuff pack is, and I don't want that.
What I'd really like is the backyard stuff, and the kitchen stuff, but neither of them are on sale for me 🙄
Ah ha! Here is another update from you about your household, the Oddball Hangouts. Heidi sounds like a very interesting lady. I'm glad that her invisible friends are pushing her to seek Fame and Fortune instead of telling her awful things!

What age is Jacob supposed to be? Because in the first picture he looks much younger than the second picture. I think that if you want to have him retain a youthful look, and considering he already wears glasses, I don't know if a suit coat is the way to go. However, if you're wanting him to look more mature, I think it looks great!

@AlwaysAsking Bob is a cook, though! That does mean some organisation. Maybe the slob trait just translates as 'has a fine time cooking/alchemising but doesn't tidy up afterwards'?
And honestly, I have no idea. It was generally being kind of buggy in general, like cooking a Grand Meal didn't register as an accomplished goal for Harvestfest, calling to meal didn't work for the dinner party, stuff like that. I might try another dinner party when it's not a holiday, see if there's a clash there. And yeah, Jamie worked on it through the night (he has the trait where he doesn't get tired much), submitted it Sunday morning, immediately got the notification that it was nominated, awards that night! XD No idea regarding Sage, I didn't even realise she had followed Jamie to Del Sol! For the picture, just zoomed out a bunch while in Live Mode. Sable Square might just be particularly good at far shots, here's an autumnal one!
Is your sim going to be able to use the plants that she harvested from Island Living for her bakery business? That seems like it would be fun. And where is the bakery? Which world?
She lives in Newcrest (bottom right hand corner) and the bakery is just up the street from where she lives (in the top left). She is mastering the bakery skill, so I went down the list making things and instead of having her throw the stuff out or put it in the fridge to eat later (which would take her a long time to do) I figured I'd make her a business owner and sell what she made. I only have her making bakery items (bread, bagels, cookies, etc) to level the skill. I haven't gone in to check the other recipes for cooking/gourmet cooking to see if taro, kava, coconuts and pineapples can be used, however, I am sure there are new recipes that call for them. I know Kava makes a drink because you have to serve it at a party. One of my sims had the Beach Life aspiration and that's one of the goals for it (to earn gold at a Kava party). I think it would be neat to have a bakery on the beach selling treats made solely of the things you have harvest there.
This particular sim is in the business career and is a carryover from the Sims 2 (though I never created her in the Sims 3). Her very first business was a salon where she would give people makeovers, then she went into the floral design. Here in Sims 4 I want her to do anything related to retail shops so she might do other things when I am done. I also want her to level all the skills so she is going to be a VERY busy sim lol

'As me, Hamish and Sophia are spellcasters, even though we haven't unlocked our magical powers, we've got a slight resistance to venom and poison. Doesn't mean that we are immune to poison or venom though. The dose that Hamish received was not fatal, but it was still serious. Had that tooth stayed in his foot for a lot longer, Me and Sophia would have lost a brother' Roddy said. Jessica could see that Roddy was still feeling low and gave him a big hug and a big smooch on the cheek:
'Thanks, I needed that, my sparkling pink sapphire' Roddy said, brightening up. 'You're welcome, Roddy!' Jessica said. Later on, Roddy said goodbye to Jessica and Carol, the latter giving him a hug:

Roddy went bright red and giggled. Shine had covered his face in big bright shiny pink lipstick smooches:

Wow, your Rosen family is doing a lot of cool things. The dance parties are a lot of fun, I love it when my Sims get invited to them. Kaden certainly seems to be a popular guy, it's cute to see the fanboying 😂
And that's pretty amazing that Odette not only got an autograph from Judith Ward, but she got a hug too! Sheesh!! I thought Judith was usually crabby and mean.
I agree! The dance parties are always fun. Also, it's definitely cute to see Kayden's fans getting excited when they see him!
I'm surprised and amazed at the same time when I saw how successful Odette was with Judith. When it comes to interacting with celebrities, it's all about luck.
@AlwaysAsking there is no need to live on salads and peas to have them lose weight... she lost weight by just running a bit in the morning every day. High quality food is in general better than quick meals too.

After the mini birthday party, Avery explained to her mother that she's become a witch and that she knows the dedeadify spell which could bring her back to life!
Unfortunately she messed up the spell...

@Tixyen yeah, thankfully there wasn't anything irreplacable in there! (Although I won't lie, I did get lazy and refill some stuff from the debug menu, haha. And took the opportunity to get him a better camera, too!) And thanks! A lot of the plants are from GTW and RoM, with a ton from Pawlly/ThyFaerytale's gorgeous Celestial recolours. Gorgeous pieces for alien or magical gardens!
@sarabeth2984 some of them are from Sixam! A lot of them are the Celestial recolours I linked in my reply to Tixyen, they're beautiful. And I had Bella as a spellcaster, but otherwise, same. Used the cheats to give Mortimer and the kids the Ancient Bloodline trait with the idea that the Goths are an ooold magical family, and Bella did the Rite of Ascension when she met Mortimer. She ended up ridiculously powerful due to basically being a Weirdness Magnet. Alternate dimensions are involved. The result is that Cassandra is ridiculously powerful too, and Alexander will be when he ages up. Good to know about the gnomes!
So, the latest! First, and technically not actual gameplay, but I did a photoshoot with the Vatores and Johnny for Spooky Day! It's over on my Simstagram account for Caleb here. Caleb is an extremely glam New Romantic pirate, Johnny has gone steampunk, and Lilith is a sci fi action hero!

I built their dream home using a real home floorpan so its a two-story home with 4 bd/2.5 bath, a pantry, formal living and dining, breakfast nook, bonus room, family room, laundry room and a nice size backyard for their future children to play in and for the pair to do a little gardening.
Julissa has been busy taking care of the house and pulling back a bit from her [overly lucrative] job as a Beauty Vlogger. J has received several promotions in the Programming field and is currently an e-gamer bringing home around $1400 a day. They discovered that they were expecting and are getting ready to welcome a little boy to their home who they are planning to name, Khaos.
J and Julissa are also hosting their first Harvest Day in their home for the first time and will be spending the day with their best friends, Arun and Jesminder Bheeda. Jesminder has three children so she's been helping Julissa prepare for her first and giving her advice.

Cassandra comes from a long line of very powerful witches. She lives with her parents, Mortimer and Bella Goth and little brother Alexander. She also lives with her grandparents Gunther and Cornelia Goth and Aunt Agnes Crumplebottom (These are my versions of the Goth family) I got the info based on the previous sims games but tweaked them a bit to make them a bit more interesting;) Cornelia/Agnes/Gunther I downloaded from the Gallery. I can’t remember the original ea id, but once I track them down I will post them. They did a FANTASTIC job on these sims. Especially Mrs. Crumplebottom. She is just like the original Mrs. Crumplebottom. She will start a fight with any flirty sims lol!! I just tweaked them a bit for my save
Mortimer is a noted newspaper editor and journalist but aspires to be a novelist. He is a warlock but had no interest in pursuing the Craft. (I aged him down to YA)
Her mom Bella Goth is an aspiring actress
But had been turned into a vampire several years ago her friend/old boyfriend Griffin Morecombe
Cassandra’s family also includes her paternal grandparents, Gunther and Cornelia Goth.
Gunther’s family had founded the town of Willow Creek a very long time ago. He works as an investor.
He married Cornelia Goth, formerly Cornelia Crumplebottom, after high school.
She was a famous novelist but had recently retired. She wrote famous history texts and novels inspired by her adventures in archeology. She was once a famous archeologist and retired early so she could pursue her passion. She had traveled the world hunting for ancient artifacts. She was currently mentoring some old students/associates of hers, Agnes Morecombe and Rachel Beauchamp.
She was also descended from a long line of powerful witches. She had one younger twin sister, Agnes Crumplebottom.
Agnes had a reputation for being very annoying. She was unflirty and very vocal about it lol
Cornelia and Agnes were constantly fighting lol. Agnes insults Cornelia, so Cornelia turned her into a cactus lol!
Both sisters are virtuosos in the Craft and felt it was demeaning to learn from “Sages in the Magic Realm.” A witch was supposed to join a coven and learn from them. They were currently training up young Cassandra
I haven’t decided what Alexander will be yet….

And I feel very bad for Pearl. This is why I don't think I could ever play with aging on. The new baby will only have a little time with her dad, because he's going to be an elder, that's so sad.😢
Yes I suppose Bob didn't have much time to bring the violin skill up. Hopefully he had fun doing it.
That is a big problem with Benjamin though. If he's being paid miserably, and is so bad at telling jokes that he doesn't get any tips, then it is probably time for him to change his job 🤔

Ok now, your memorial to Bob and Marie is making me cry. I had forgotten so much of the story. Now I remember how adorable the little twins were, and all the fun they always had on vacation, and how sweet and loving they were. It's just too heartbreaking 😢
The wedding vows at the end is the part that really did me in. So sweet ❤️
But, a little baby named Josie remind us that life goes on.
Now that Pearl's fiance is an elder, are they going to get married anytime soon?

Oh, yes that makes sense that Morgan and Wolfgang would struggle when they can't get any help from their parents. And the lower levels of any career really don't pay very well.

Your update is really wonderful. It seemed like Leah was going to be a bit troublesome for a while, but becoming a spellcaster has really helped.

It's amazing that they were able to get Lillith a laptop, it's going to help her so much. And it's great that Max read the parenting book, and realized how important it is for toddlers to learn their skills. I think this family is going to be okay! 😊

Everyone is very excited about the University pack. I'm not going to run out and buy it right away. I'm still having too much fun with Island living, because I just got it, whereas other people have had it forever.
I guess I'll watch the stories that all of you guys write about it, and make my decision then. I don't really want to slow down my game anymore than it already is.

The Quincy story happened right after I got the game, and I didn't take nearly enough screenshots. I do have a ton of them, but I can't find a single one of Andrew crying and yelling at Penny for being out with other people, and that was the funniest part of the whole story. I'm not sure that I could recreate just those scenes either, because Sims always act differently every time you restart them you know? Idk, I'll have to see what I can do 😄 I did spot Andrew walking around town the other day, looking all miserable and stuff 😅 He probably saw Penny smile at somebody (for gosh sakes)

This happened about a week ago in my game, but I hadn't had a chance to write the story down yet, so here it is.
If I hadn't seen some of the things that @Becka28 's Sims do, I would never think that this is what it looks like. But now I have a feeling that it is.
This is a story about my teenage spellcasters; Rose, Laney, and Diego Lobo (aged down to a teen, and with his original hair color).
Some of you may remember this scene when Rose and Laney tried to convince Ricardo Rodriguez that he should go out with Diego, because Diego had a crush on him. Ricardo said no, that Diego did not sound very interesting. And that's why Laney looks so mad.
But it really wasn't that big of a deal because it was at one of their Magical Teen club meetings and Diego ended up making friends with a boy named Hermes.
They went from a friendly duel, to a "friendly" time in the closet in record time.
And now they're always together and always have fun. I've never seen Diego Lobo smile as much as he does in this save.

I just recently put this part of this story up. It's the time that I played as Diego's boyfriend Hermes.
Hermes, and five other boys live together with a caretaker in Glimmerbrook. Ricardo Rodriguez is one of the other boys.
As usual, Hermes and Diego were quite adorable with each other.
But in this picture it looks as though Hermes thinks that something is off.
And I noticed something. (Don't mind Diego, he was so tired he could hardly walk, and he couldn't keep his eyes open, but he's always so happy with Hermes that he smiles)
They left the dining room together, to go to Hermes' room, because Diego was spending the night.
I noticed that Ricardo was looking like this. When I wrote this part the first time, I mentioned that I wondered if he had regrets about rejecting Diego in the first place, but I never thought anything more about it.
But then all of this happened.
I was playing as Diego again, and he'd come to the Magical Realm to fight some duels. Apparently he annoyed this young man, I don't remember how.
This is a picture of how Ricardo, and the people from his household, show up in the Magical Realm nowadays. I've never played as anybody else in that family except Hermes. (I did put wonderful clothes on all of them, for all of the outfits that they need to wear, such as party, hot weather, etc. in CAS, but of course this is how they come to the Realm 🙄).
So imagine my surprise when Ricardo just walks up to Diego, in one of the outfits that I made for him, and starts to flirt with him!
Diego was not amused, and wanted nothing to do with him.
And then this series of interactions began, and I have no idea what was being said, because all that it said for Diego was that he was chatting with Ricardo and Morgyn.
I did not direct Diego to do anything, I just watched what happened. And I found it to be absolutely amazing.
Diego was having none of it.
Watching the smug looks that he gave Ricardo was hysterical.
I couldn't tell whose side Morgyn was on, because sometimes he was looking reproachfully at Diego, but sometimes it was at Ricardo.
What is your opinion? I can't think of it as being anything else except Ricardo trying to steal Diego away from Hermes.
I have discovered that Rose probably has a crush on Ricardo, she is with him pretty often. She showed up here autonomously, and looked like she wanted to help Ricardo.
Ricardo was getting madder by the minute.
And Diego was completely unconcerned 😅
At this point I started queuing up things for Diego again. He had come there to practice dueling, so we went down into the yard to find someone to duel. He found a willing partner quite easily.
But the other guy never had a bit of a chance.
Diego had such a confident moodlet going that the other spellcaster was down before he could even strike at Diego.

I've never seen Diego act this way before, but I can imagine him feeling vindicated and powerful, because Ricardo had to come and beg for him, when Ricardo was the one that rejected Diego in the first place.
Ricardo continued to be extremely angry.
And then very sad.
But Rose was finally able to talk to him.
And in the end he felt fine.
Happily, they are all friends again. If you saw my update about the house I’m building for them then you’ll have seen this photo. Ricardo dropped in at their house, like Darrel did, and sat next to Rose for dinner! But you can only see the back of his head here 😂

You sound like you are enjoying the City Living expansion a great deal. I'm very happy to hear that!
A few things I discovered over time, while building things in the city:
The TLC apartments are nearly impossible to live in. I put families in there that just need to be "in game," but never played. So I'll put a family of eight into one of them, because it doesn't matter if there are't enough beds, etc. I'm never going to go in there and play them.
The reasons that the unremoveable things are in those apartments is exactly what you said, to make them impossible to set up very well, and you can't get rid of the mice, so they wake you up all night every night. There's other nasty things, but I can't even remember them because I refuse to try to make it work to live there.
But that was what I was referring to when I said that there were cheat codes to make those places livable. I have not tried them yet, because I have not needed that space for actual families that I want to play.
The other thing that I found out, completely by accident, is that the Fountainview Penthouse is completely rebuildable. As in, you could almost bulldoze that lot, and restart it. I can't remember if you can move the elevator or not, but even if you can't, you can build around it. And as far as I can remember, you can build any kind of structure, of any height you want, on that rooftop! 😊
The other thing that kept messing with me was the height of the walls. I would think that they were high enough to take the basketball court and then it would turn out that they're not. That got annoying.
I ended up using open concept apartments in the Jasmine suites building. The height of the walls, as compared to the small size of the apartment, made them very difficult for me to furnish.
Penny Pizzazz is amazing, I've used her in all three of my saves, and she was quite fun every time!
I'm at the Parenthood pack for so long it's hard for me to remember what it was like before it was there. It is really nice to be able to do the work to get the children to be the best they can be. I don't remember if you've ever played the land grabs, but Malcolm actually has the mean trait, not evil, but mean. And through the Parenthood interactions, I was able to get him to the point where he gets very angry with himself if he performs a mean interaction.
And you're so right about the things that are much easier to attain, like manners and responsibility.
Tobias Lancaster's house sounds like it will be completely amazing! If you get that all set up you should do some screenshots and let us see. I've never done much with it. As I've mentioned, I'm not fond of the apartments with the highest walls.
And I like the sound of the new family, the Bazeley's. A Lifelong family of politicians and activists in San Myshuno! Cool
Penny is in the social media career when you go and play her. I don't think she's real high up but, she at least has some skills and a start in the job. She was a lot of fun to play. I find the politician job to be nearly impossible, and I've never gotten anywhere in it, but I know a lot of other people do!
I'm finding it so odd that people are talking about the sale, and it doesn't seem like everybody has the same things on sale.
Example, the fitness stuff pack is not on sale for me, but the spooky stuff pack is, and I don't want that.
What I'd really like is the backyard stuff, and the kitchen stuff, but neither of them are on sale for me 🙄
Ah ha! Here is another update from you about your household, the Oddball Hangouts. Heidi sounds like a very interesting lady. I'm glad that her invisible friends are pushing her to seek Fame and Fortune instead of telling her awful things!

What age is Jacob supposed to be? Because in the first picture he looks much younger than the second picture. I think that if you want to have him retain a youthful look, and considering he already wears glasses, I don't know if a suit coat is the way to go. However, if you're wanting him to look more mature, I think it looks great!

@AlwaysAsking Bob is a cook, though! That does mean some organisation. Maybe the slob trait just translates as 'has a fine time cooking/alchemising but doesn't tidy up afterwards'?
And honestly, I have no idea. It was generally being kind of buggy in general, like cooking a Grand Meal didn't register as an accomplished goal for Harvestfest, calling to meal didn't work for the dinner party, stuff like that. I might try another dinner party when it's not a holiday, see if there's a clash there. And yeah, Jamie worked on it through the night (he has the trait where he doesn't get tired much), submitted it Sunday morning, immediately got the notification that it was nominated, awards that night! XD No idea regarding Sage, I didn't even realise she had followed Jamie to Del Sol! For the picture, just zoomed out a bunch while in Live Mode. Sable Square might just be particularly good at far shots, here's an autumnal one!
Is your sim going to be able to use the plants that she harvested from Island Living for her bakery business? That seems like it would be fun. And where is the bakery? Which world?
She lives in Newcrest (bottom right hand corner) and the bakery is just up the street from where she lives (in the top left). She is mastering the bakery skill, so I went down the list making things and instead of having her throw the stuff out or put it in the fridge to eat later (which would take her a long time to do) I figured I'd make her a business owner and sell what she made. I only have her making bakery items (bread, bagels, cookies, etc) to level the skill. I haven't gone in to check the other recipes for cooking/gourmet cooking to see if taro, kava, coconuts and pineapples can be used, however, I am sure there are new recipes that call for them. I know Kava makes a drink because you have to serve it at a party. One of my sims had the Beach Life aspiration and that's one of the goals for it (to earn gold at a Kava party). I think it would be neat to have a bakery on the beach selling treats made solely of the things you have harvest there.
This particular sim is in the business career and is a carryover from the Sims 2 (though I never created her in the Sims 3). Her very first business was a salon where she would give people makeovers, then she went into the floral design. Here in Sims 4 I want her to do anything related to retail shops so she might do other things when I am done. I also want her to level all the skills so she is going to be a VERY busy sim lol
When the upgrades were done, he teleported out. Roddy called a club gathering. Jessica Lacey arrived first, and chatted to Hamish for a while:

'As me, Hamish and Sophia are spellcasters, even though we haven't unlocked our magical powers, we've got a slight resistance to venom and poison. Doesn't mean that we are immune to poison or venom though. The dose that Hamish received was not fatal, but it was still serious. Had that tooth stayed in his foot for a lot longer, Me and Sophia would have lost a brother' Roddy said. Jessica could see that Roddy was still feeling low and gave him a big hug and a big smooch on the cheek:
'Thanks, I needed that, my sparkling pink sapphire' Roddy said, brightening up. 'You're welcome, Roddy!' Jessica said. Later on, Roddy said goodbye to Jessica and Carol, the latter giving him a hug:
When the gathering ended, Roddy went to his bedroom to sleep:
Shine came in and tucked him in:
She then gave Roddy several big smooches on his cheek:
'Have a nice sleep, sweetie' Shine whispered:

'Hello, sweetie. Did you sleep alright?' Shine asked. 'I sure did, mum!' Roddy replied. 'Good to hear' Shine said, smiling. She then gave him a big loving hug:
'I love you, sweetie!' Shine said, looking fondly at Roddy:

Roddy went bright red and giggled. Shine had covered his face in big bright shiny pink lipstick smooches:
