I made this sim, Shayna, last night to be a model for my upcoming conversions. I absolutely love how she turned out! I almost want to start an alternate save with her, but not sure what world to choose.
@thebriamon Gobias is good with kids. His "childish" trait probably helps. While he hated most of the kids in my household, he was always good to them.

My main "Stout" family looks a bit different now, but Marcus isn't completely left aside, either. He had his old friend Terrill over, and during a conversation, they came to the decision to go on a family trip to Oasis Landing.
One of the reasons was that it was time for a new look. The first attempt didn't go over that well...
While the pic is kind of funny, this wasn't exactly what I was going for. In my excuse, the hair looked okay in other angles.
I chose this one for the time being.
Given they make babies in a few hours in some growth chamber, I thought a nose job may not be out of order. Marcus has populated Sunset Valley with enough potato noses by now, and I guess it's worth for a change, before everyone looks like that.
I guess that looks presentable.
Terrill also got some small tweaks.

I don't have much of a backstory for her; She is just starting out in Hidden Springs for no particular reason other than for her story to eventually connect with everyone elses. Despite her lack of a backstory, her life is filled with drama, high highs and falls from grace. I already have a plan for how she lives her life (the first time I played her was 2015/16), but I will probably deviate from her "original" life in this new story. Her traits are Over-Emotional, Schmoozer, Irresistible, Snob and Ambitious. She originally worked in business, and I will probably have her do so again, but her story isn't focused on her job as much as it is the people around her (you'll see what I mean, eventually). Her lifetime wish is Lifetime of the Rich and Famous.
I also built a house for her in Hidden Springs! I wanted it to match the surrounding neighborhood. It has two bedrooms and one bathroom.
She has like 45 dollars left after I built this.
That's all I have for today - I'll begin playing her when I have more free time.
The next day Courtney was still left feeling confused over the meeting with Taz but she was suspicious that he was just using her. He texted her a few times throughout the day but she tried to avoid being friendly with him. Her friends and parents were worried about her when she broke up with Taz and Courtney knew that they would be concerned if she was talking to him again. Part of her missed hearing from him but she could not forgive him for how much her had hurt her.
Shelly had agreed to meet up with Gareth, Darwin and Sarah in the evening but she was tired from the night before. Brett had managed to text her a few times and was happy with the conversation but was disappointed that she was still going out that evening.
At first he was debating with himself about texting her as he did not know if she would even text him back but luckily for him she did. He liked hearing from her and he hoped that if they could text for a while then something could happen between them but Gareth was going to be an obstacle to get past first.
The evening with Gareth, Darwin and Sarah was relaxed and there was another protest planned for the following weekend.
'Are you up for coming out with us to the protest next Saturday?' Sarah asked Shelly 'We will have all day to enjoy it this time and hopefully it won't go wrong like last time,'
Shelley agreed to come along and Gareth was pleased that she would be joining them.
'We will be going out of town this time though,' said Gareth 'we will be going to London for the day,'
'How are we getting there?' asked Shelly.
'We will be getting the train,' replied Gareth 'we can all meet up at the station in the morning and can spend all day there,'
Started a save with the Goth Family and gave them makeovers. Will post pics tomorrow!

Gunther:
First, I gave him a short messy hairstyle and got rid of the facial hair (I dislike both and it totally reflects when I makeover sims).
I left his hair color - It's actually a light brown with a weird blackish-purple at the tips. I may make the hair a darker color to make it look better...
I didn't change much genetically other than I altered his nose slightly but kept it large.
I gave him some different clothing too - I read somewhere the Goths usually wear black, so I made sure Gunther did.
Cornelia:
I gave her shoulder length hair with a slight curl, from Buckley's Disentangled sets on MTS. I recolored the base black and kept the purple at the tips and highlights. I changed a couple outfits and gave them the dark purple she seems to like, and black. For her formal outfit I gave her a fancy updo style hair also from Disentangled. I gave her hoop earrings, large or small depending on the outfit, in black, and gave her 2 rings since I have multiple accessories per location thanks to Nraas. They are a silver simple "wedding ring" and a silver one with a purple gem. For her outerwear I gave her fingerless black leather gloves. I also gave her black & white nail polish. And gave her some cateye eyeliner, left the purple lipstick, and gave her some light blush. She honestly looks like something out of the Addams Family now. I didn't do any genetic changes.
Mortimer:
I simply just changed a couple of his outfits. Nothing major.
Currently I'm redoing their fancy castle manor to make it dark and mysterious...
Perhaps a Halloween photostory is in the works? Favorite
Now I wanna challenge myself to make the Goths be spooky and mysterious year round... including christmas time! Wonder how I'll make a spooky Christmas tree...

I realized I had obviously seen him a million times while playing Bridgeport, but I have never given him a makeover! What is wrong with me? Cute ginger boy? *rubs hands together* I can work with this.

Crazy-eyed Kristina must have liked my work, because she immediately rolled a want to befriend Blake.

Of course, there's always Alpha to keep Darryl happy.
She is sometimes a bit overbearing when it comes to caring for the toddler. Then it's just best to ignore her.
Alrik got into some argument with Patterns.
I made him accuse Patterns of being a diva. Funny enough, that yielded a positive reaction, because Patterns is, indeed, a diva. Never had one, so this should be interesting.
Patterns serves as a captive audience.

The next week back at college Sarah was outside talking to Cassie when they saw Hana walk past. Cassie mentioned that she had seen Hana campaigning for The Lion the previous week and Sarah was not impressed.
'Why is she supporting him? Sarah said.
'No idea,' replied Cassie but Bianca's mum told them where to go,'
'I would have done the same,' said Sarah.
'The Lion has screwed everyone over,' said Cassie.
'Hana must me mislead,' added Sarah.
In the canteen during the morning break Shelly was sitting with Courtney, Hana, Stacy, Dorley, Ben and Brett when Gareth came over with Sarah and Darwin and tried to join in with the conversation. Gareth had been offered a new work placement working for a newspaper and was excited to start it.
'What is everyone up to this week?' Sarah asked the group trying to make conversation.
'Not much,' replied Hana wondering why they where sat with them as they normally sat on their own table.
'We are looking for recruits,' said Gareth 'anyone up for joining us at a protest in London on Saturday?'
'I will be busy,' said Hana knowing full well what they were doing.
'Shelly is joining us still,' said Sarah.
'Yes I am still coming,' said Shelly.
From last night's play session; Saturday and Sunday passed by, with the Smith Family enjoying the weekend as the season changed to Autumn. On Monday Ignoitus woke up early along with his wife; after breakfast and getting themselves ready for work. Ignoitus left for work first, then Tamora. The teens woke up and prepared to get ready for school. They left home at seven, arriving at school early. Then it happened; Canute Smith walked off the school lot, followed by Promethus and Cosima. I decided to save before editing the town, but accidentally deleted the school. I went back to the game then quit without saving. Hopefully, when I next reload, I should get the teens to the school early (As when I save, if a Sim has a full queue when I save then reload later on the actions end up cancelled; hopefully I should get the teens into school on time). Also, when I was playing, Charlie Ray Kashmir-Buckshot died.

Hi all. I just logged in really quick to let you know I'm not ignoring you all, I've just been having some pretty life inhibiting health issues lately and have need a lot of rest. The good news is that I've finally found a doctor that communicates with me. When test results come back, which is within only a couple day turn around, her office calls with the results and any further instructions instead of me having to harass the office staff calling for results repeatedly until they just force me to schedule another appointment a month or two away because that's how far out they're booking... And she LISTENS lol. This area is horrid with apathetic dismissive double booked doctors. I've lived a lot of different places, from farmland to the suburbs of the windy city and the D and of course you'll find health care professionals like that everywhere too, but this area is completely saturated with them and the ones that aren't are booked 6-9months in advance with grateful patients. So we're already moving forward with new treatment and the road of recovery, gradual as it may be, has already started. And before I give the wrong impression, my life wasn't at risk or anything unless I had just stopped treatment already in place completely. It just really makes life unpleasant in other ways like frequent dizzy spells, extreme exhaustion, nausea, circulatory issues, etc. I'm in between work projects now so I have a little bit of respite. Hopefully I'll start feeling well enough to spend some time catching up soon, but full recovery is probably a 1-2 months out, depending on how well I respond. I hope you're all doing well and having tons of fun! I look forward to catching up!
