    Strangeville Secret Lab Keycard Door

    HI, can anyone help me, I want to use the "Strangeville Secret Lab Key card Door" on other lots, i.e. home and science lab lots, but it just does nothing, i.e. I can have my Sim use the key card to access the door any were else outside of the secret lab.

    Does anyone know of a way around this, i.e. to get the door working or is this just another piece of useless junk that EA, is clogging up the game with just like items from the Get To work pack, were we could place work lot items at home but could not use them?

      Without a mod I don't think there is anyway around this. Right now the keycard is solely linked to the Secret Lab.

      It functions as any other door. I have it in a couple of game saves to give a 'secret/restricted access' look.

      If you want just your sim to be able to open it, then use the vault door. Only one sim can "own" it and open or close it and set the alarm. It has worked out better for me. I created one SPY HQ that used five in one hallway. :D
