I use any of it but not in high amounts. It just depends on the sim. Most of my male sims barely wear any but you'll occasionally see a cuff, watch or necklace on them. They wear rings sometimes too though I don't bother with planning their wedding rings each time.
I do keep track of who is married though. Lol. I generally just remember but their spouses are also in their profiles.
I love watches on my male sims. Rings look good too depending on the sim.

Rings are really common as well. Especially on spellcasters, for multiple rings on both hands. Pierced ears are also common. Watches are actually less so.
I do like to give my Sims wedding rings, and my rebels get earrings, but I use bracelets the most. Even a simple watch can really make an outfit. For game-generated townies, I tend to strip off all accessories. They're background characters, they don't need to be fancy!
