    But, What Should My Wandering Eye See?

    Originally, I was attempting to have the eldest teen boy take his girlfriend to the Spice Festival for some fun. Before that kicked in, her mother calls his mother and invites her to the very same festival. I clicked on yes. (What I didn't expect was that the phone call cancelled out the first command.) Of course it was raining when they got there, but Joannah (the boy's mother) manages to taste all five samples of the hot food, to fulfill the 'quest', although she failed the spicy food contest, nonetheless.

    Joannah was uncomfortably wet, so since the time was coming to an end, anyway, I ended the festival and sent her on home. What do I find?
    My seventh great-aunt dancing on the table! (This game save is set for the 18th century, as much as I can without using a mod to remove all the technology). Did they even dance on tabletops at that time? :open_mouth: I somehow doubt it, but I could be wrong.

    I would really like to know how the toddler climbed up there, as this is a FIRST in my game. LOL Oh, those rascally toddlers. ;) Guess she's vying for attention, since she's not happy at all about her baby brother. She seems okay with her older siblings, but, oh well. Bethenia is Bethenia.

    What stranger than life things has occurred in your game. :)

      That looks like that glitch where sims somehow end up on tables or refrigerators.

      She's going to grow up to be a real party girl. I remember in sims 2 there was a glitch where one of my sims had a lampshade stuck on their head. I think these 2 would make a great couple once she got older.

      LOL, well, it's a first for me. I don't use the place on head cheat at all. Weird that traveling to another venue and back would activate such a glitch. It's certainly picture-worthy. Oh, that Bethenia.

      There is a controversy as to just when she died. Some have her born in 1759, just to die in the same year. Others have her born in 1760 to die in 1764. Still others have her married and not dying until 18++. :open_mouth: Records are so very hard to come by from the 18th century.

      i get a similar thing when someone is on my lot, i go out into the world and then come back, somehow they are invited into my house without my inviting them in. i kick them out as soon as the save finishes loading.

      I accidentally married my Sim, who at the time was named Vanessa Roberts, to Venessa Jeong. I changed her name to Vicky, and now their last name is Jeong-Roberts.

      What do you do when your Sim invites another Sim to come hang out on the lot, and the Sim never shows. Yet, when he calls again the pop up says the Sim is already on the lot :open_mouth: I scrolled around all over the place, the Sim was not to be found. :#

      That's crazy. I ended up saving and exiting the game shortly after I snapped that photo. When I got back in a short time later, Bethenia was sitting quietly near the fireplace. I'm wondering what the little Dickens was up to. LOL

      Me, too. I wish I knew more about her. I love it when this game gives us these little 'gifts', if you will, even if it was merely a glitch.
