Glad I'm not alone! My best guess would be "emo" or electronic (like the word "e-cigarette"), but I have the sneaking suspicion OP isn't asking for early 2000s era baby mallgoths or for robots.
I just heard someone use that term randomly on a YouTube comment and I still don't know what it means. Can you add a description? I have a feeling it isn't something really well known.
