    We need traits that impact gameplay & give sims advantages!

    I feel that traits are mostly useless. And serve only a very minor purpose. We need traits that can give sims an advantage over other sims and even give them extra gameplay that other sims minus the trait don't have.

      I totally agree. Traits should make our sims feel more like distinctive characters, but no matter what trait combos you choose it just doesn't feel like they have much of a personality which is a real killer for me. I feel the same way about aspirations as well. They just don't impact the gameplay like they should.

      I think it's too late for that now, game is already 5 years old. Last time they add personality trait was Jealous trait and that was many years ago.

      Klepto and Erratic come to mind that give additional gameplay aside from just a moodlet.

      Agreed, and I really do hope they consider overhauling the trait system.

      I think it should be based on The Big Five theory of personality. Would be more realistic. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Five_personality_traits
