The spell to duplicate your self is nice, but why couldn't they have taken the extra step of allowing you to duplicate any Sim? This question is directed to the modders, Is it possible to mod the game to modify this spell to do that? Even better would it be possible to add a potion that would do that.?

The duplicato spell likely piggybacks off of the coding for the cloning machine from GTW. The cloning machine can clone any sim, so I suspect it would be possible for modders to modify the spell such that it can duplicate any sim. I’m not a modder myself but that’s my take on it, for what it’s worth.

@floridameerkat it isn’t supposed to be permanent - it is supposed to disappear after a while - but there is a glitch currently where it often remains.

When I tried it the clone disappeared after several hours. And MaggieMarley you echoed what I was thinking. Hopefully someone will come up with a mod to do that.
