Yeah, and for those unaware, all the men passing on going with Midnight is a Clue reference.
In the film, Yvette asks that and two straight men volunteer eagerly, while Green refuses (because he's gay).
Here it's reversed where Captain and Elder refuse, and Sunset the only straight man there volunteers.
I laughed at the singing telegram scene, I'm most intrigued by Elder's and Moonflower's sudden spate of bad luck though, what are the odds of them stepping outside for literally 5 mins and getting bumped off.
Moonflower's misfortune was being with Cherry, who's famously lucky.
(and also Jake based her character off that one show where they all die, and that character romanticizes a dramatic death... How satisfied is Zelinda with her death, Jake? )
And I'd like to think it was the singing telegram girl who ran over our poor Nugget. XD would be a nice change in fate, since last time we saw Maddie she got "ran over" herself... But this time SHE did the running over.
That'd make sense for her to drive - it'd tie in how she arrived at the mansion too.

On another note: it's too late to implement this now, but what if that final exemption was for the Final 5 quiz? Meaning, that Alleen would've had to do this quiz now, and that if she survived it she'd be the first finalist?
I was also thinking of making another ending (where everyone dies a tragic ironic death), but that would have taken even longer to do.
Basically Lady Amethyst would kill everyone in an ironic way:
Mr. Sunset would drown (he may or may not have drowned the REAL Mr. Sunset )
Mistress Midnight would get shot (she shot and killed her last husband)
Doctor Golden killed by a syringe (which she kinda did; she botched a surgery once, killing the patient)
But then I didn't know what to do with Captain or Cherry so I sorta scrapped it
