      interesting. i've been planning on trying to get a temple guardian to become a spellcaster, but looks like you accidentally managed that already

      i do know that plantsims can't become casters. ...well, they can, but they lose their plantsim buff (same happens if a plantsim becomes a vampire or mermaid)
