Guess I have to build everything myself now....

So now I figured I'd download a house from the gallery to fill that one vacant lot in Glimmerbrooks (or whatever that world is called). I download, choose the lot, confirm, the building animation shows up, pauses, and.... bye, Sims! Hello, desktop! Guess the easy days are over.

Anyone else experienced this? This is the first time it ever happened for me, I haven't downloaded lots from the gallery for quite some time, so I'm not sure if it's the patch we had a little while ago or the RoM pack. One thing I do know: It's annoying. :P

try again, it might just be a small issue that unfortunately occurred for you that one time.

If it's the one with the trees on it, maybe try bulldozing the lot first? I haven't had that problem but it was just a thought.

Never had to bulldoze a lot before (unless something else was already there, obviously), but when it works I'm happy.
