I do to. It's not just this but a number of little hiccups (the glitches, the useless greenhouse, the not so secret secret world) are killing my excitement for the pack. Kind of glad I ended up unable to get it on release.

Exactly. Does no one even bother to playtest their own game anymore?!
Hopefully Farming and University packs will be 100 times better than Realm of Magic. I'm REALLY looking forward to Farming and University, and I hope they come pretty soon.
Even if you aren’t a builder Lil Simsie is right. If this kind sloppy work is showing on the surface - what’s half done under the surface? Recycling game play so yes it is a concern. I expect it from an indie company. Not a so called AAA company.
It'$ only been 5 year$ or more $ince the $im$ 4 came out, give them $ome time to finally make the game good with lot$ of additional, paid-for content$. Give them some more chance$, I'm $ure they'll come through.
I think I need to point out, this isn't just opinions of builders, but it is a cry out that this game is really a crumbling foundation of a shell of a game....I watched many reviews of the sims 4...and even the most happy simmers with the game sounds very disappointed (examples : Plumbella and Carl) ... this is NOT just an builder's opinion it should be something we all should consider....just saying...
A missing door, a roof not completed and missing cupboards. It would be sad to judge an entire pack on those few things.
Should they have happened? Probably not, very sloppy and lazy but compared to what else you get in the pack that's trivial.
Magic and occults are not for everyone but beside these few things this is a very well done pack in my opinion.
I just think it’s easy for us to judge the devs, but since I have been studying computer science, I have discovered how hard it is to make a small program, you write a line of code and bam, a bug appears out of nowhere, now imagine developing a game that complex, of course they will miss something, that’s why we have patches, so if they are willing to fix stuff, I’m totally fine... I’m not a builder and I value more the gameplay aspect of the game and I think they did a good job with the witches. What I saw from a lot of YouTubers is that they don’t play with occults so of course they will find the pack boring
For me, it has been that disappointing since day one. Not surprised, I should be 🐸🐸🐸🐸 fool to think it's gonna improve. (Since I know somebody here's gonna misunderstand my post, I'm not calling anyone a fool 🙄).

Me too...me too...I am so disappointed in myself that I keep giving them a benefit of a doubt.

I think it's not entirely unfair for us to judge the devs. Programming has been hard since the day it was invented, that's why there are good and bad programmers, there's always going to be bugs, you are good when you can fix them. The compiling program also helps with the bugs no? But they have (supposedly) a full team of programmers working for them looking at the code, it's not just one person. Maxis was the one who decided (or EA really) that this game was profitable enough for it to be supported by longer than 5 years, if they can't handle the bugs that's on them and their decision.

Extremely well done. And the visuals are amazing. I actually love watching the Spellcasters duel
I think they are trying, ts4 was bad when it launched without toddlers and pools but they improved and now we have a lot of stuff, of course I feel dissatisfied with some stuff like no under the sea feature or the lack of animals, but I honestly think that ts4 is better than ts3 with all the bugs and horrible sims, it’s not as good as ts2, but it’s not a bad game, so I think it’s getting better and that they listen the community and try to put some stuff people want if they fit the engine
I really agree with the poll result about lacking gameplay. It's really sad and it's there. Either you work your way around it or get bored. Perhaps that's why raging about missing doors just seems rather irrelevant to me. Those are stupid mistakes but such small problems in comparison.
Well, its a good thing, I don't actually watch youtuber's .
Or youtube actually. Im not watching the video, I don't get my opinions from other people, but from my own common sense and knowledge
Not watching something because you fear might change your opinion means that your opinion wasn't that strong to begin with.
Fear? No. I don't watch because I become really annoyed very easily. Furthermore, you can't change my opinion about what I personally enjoy in my own game I am having tonsssssss and oodles of fun playing with ROM. So why would I need other opinions on it? I said this before but it bares repeating. I base how I feel about things on, ME. Not others.
And also, you probably missed this, but I do NOT watch youtube. I actually hate that I live in a world where anyone can become "famous" and self important just by pointing a camera at themselves. I loathe this about this society. But thats another discussion @Sigzy05

Why should I care about lilsimsie since I'm not a builder?

I’d like to know who is avoiding buying the pack based on the reasons mentioned above?
I mean no one is telling you to care, so that was uncalled for.
I know right??? Was quite rude, as I said before, it IS not just a builder's thoughts many others have voiced their opinions.

Case in point..
https://youtu.be/RisemHUmYWE we need to start looking at how this series is going downhill.
Good for you?
Yes, indeed it is
