1. The townies are more interesting and memorable than most of the premades.
2. They should make it easier to die.
I'm not asking for sims to drop like flies, but you gotta try to kill sims because of all the second chances.
3. Laundry day was a pretty boring pack for the community to pick
I'm still kinda bummed about that disaster pack being thrown out, even though it probably wasn't going to be great
Also, aliens should've been a separate pack from Get to Work, both so that they could be more detailed for those who love them, and that those who bought the pack for careers won't have to ever deal with them.
The aliens could've been a separate pack and could've been more detailed, but would probably still get pushed into the shadows.
I mean look at Vampires. Entire pack to themselves and instead of adding a switch to disable break-ins (and by extension vampires) it got turned down to never happen even though you could supposedly just lock the door to prevent it
Hell, I'm happy and surprised that spellcasters are allowed to autonomously do magic on other lots granted the lot has a trait for it
I don't like that a large portion of the female clothing is low-cut at the neckline, or shows the belly, or is sleeveless. While it suits some of my sims just fine, other sims are conservative dressers and wouldn't ever wear those. We need more modest clothing options.

I think a lot of simmers come off demanding and entitled instead of "just asking for things they would like in the game to tell their story". It's one thing to say "It's weird x is missing and hope it gets added before they move on to Sims 5 and kind of frustrates me", but it's another to say "I literally can't play the game without x, we've been begging and begging, and they don't listen to us. Why do they give us y? No one wants it. And I don't think z even belongs in the game" is another.

We also need more wild options, like full length mesh tops, with a bra under for women, sheer dresses and skirts. More that covers, but reveals without cutaways or being cropped. Way too many are cropped, either bottoms being too low in the waist, or tops too short in length, and sleeve being too short in length. Who the heck wears a jacket with 3/4 length sleeves? Bring 'em down to the wrist!
I'd also love an ankle length lace skirt, with mini length modesty built in.
And layered torn fishnets, as pants, and as tops.
- City Living is the best expansion after seasons
- I hate werewolves, mainly because I'm shallow, and their true form in s3 looked really ugly
- I don't miss the colour wheel or patterns for CAS clothes
- I loved S3's into the future, and want it in the sims 4, more than anything (apart from fantasy stuff & occults excl. werewolves)
- I don't need to use cc for bb. I used to download heaps - first alpha, then MM, and then I uninstalled all of it after some computer problems. It's easier to upload to the gallery now, and more challenging/rewarding to build without relying on it.
I don’t miss the newspaper.
I prefer having my utilities shut off to the repo man.
I don’t miss the burglar because it saves me the time of having to add a burglar alarm.
I don’t like laundry.
Oh, I wish you'd separated these out... I agree with you about everything except the newspaper, and there I disagree strongly. The newspaper was great for historical saves, I loved being able to do the crossword, and it was a good source of fun when my sims were broke and couldn't afford much of anything else.
Now, I will say, I wish they would bring it back but have an option to subscribe rather than every household getting it automatically. That seems like the perfect compromise.

I love werewolves, but yes this is absolutely true. It took a lot of work and practice to make "beastly but sexy" were forms in TS3, and I think over three generations (and numerous siblings) I only nailed it once. I also had one turn out "cute, but derpy", which suited that story so it worked. I do want werewolves. I don't want ugly werewolves.
My First Pet Stuff is a great pack with great content.
I buy everything EA puts in front of me (Sims games) with the exception of supernatural content. I don't care to review the pack I don't wait for the sale. I'm a DLC junkie and proud of it.
Many people who always talk about wanting only "realistic gameplay" and scoff at supernatural gameplay, don't really care about realism. They still want to use use careers without their sims needing to have a college education/experience first or plenty of other other examples of unrealistic gameplay.
Some people should probably just say they don't understand or relate to more creative, imaginative gameplay and leave it at that.
I could care less about University. The Sims 4 already emulates it completely. You pay an exorbitant amount of money to have a miserable experience that gets you nowhere in real life. I kid, I kid.
I don't really know how people feel about it, since no one really talks about it, buuuut I don't care for collecting.
I'd rather the Sims 4 just copy what past games did, and hopefully also build on it, than go for "different." Ideally, something new AND different would be great. (Vampires, restaurants.) I saw Grant (I think?) talk about how they wanted to do things differently each generation, but I'd rather have something tried and true than something new for the sake of new. If it ain't broke, don't fix it.
We need more sports and competitions between sims. Surfing, team sports, broom riding, etc. I don't think anyone but me cares about this stuff though, lol.
I don't miss open world. I like how we got to see sims go to their schools and jobs. But other than that, it wasn't really interesting to me - and it could get laggy. Sims 3 neighborhoods were better because they utilized their space well, not because it was open.
The decorative houses in neighborhoods stink. My houses either have to match those, or stick out like a sore thumb.
Vacation worlds are great. Well, not so much in Sims 4, since they're more about collecting and less about vacationing. But I love love love taking my sims on vacation and letting them experience new things.
I don't think Parenthood is the best Game Pack. It's good, but wasted potential. More should have been done to make childhood development more interesting. I know this was supposed to be about how the parents raise their kids, but it's too shallow, and it's exacerbated by kids essentially being the exact same with little variation - different kids don't require different parenting techniques or act any different from their siblings, outside of maybe wearing a bear costume sometimes.
On the whole, Stuff Packs are overpriced for what little they offer.
Except Romantic Garden. That SP is majorly underappreciated.
I'd rather have updates to existing content (more BG jobs, proper PlantSims) than get more packs, free CAS stuff or (minor) bug fixes.
The Sims 4 hasn't introduced a new musical instrument since 2017
I love my Sims, but I don't want to play as them forever or for too long as I get bored. Just achieve your life goal and die so I can play as your kid already.
I'd rather have many unique small worlds size forgotten hollow (5 lots)
than have big worlds (10+ lots) with fx areas I can't access to fill out the empty spaces
I don’t miss the newspaper.
I prefer having my utilities shut off to the repo man.
I don’t miss the burglar because it saves me the time of having to add a burglar alarm.
I don’t like laundry.
^I feel the same with all the above. Although I still have to deal with the newspaper being a TS3 player, but I have my sims immediately cancel the newspaper upon moving in.
I LOATHE the burglars!!!

Some of my creations in the gallery use CC so remember to enable them in the gallery's options to see them all.

I actually like the wispy, not-really-successfully-grown-in facial hair for male teens, and go out of my way to use it.

I like the sims without custom content. But I do love skin/eye replacements. I go back and forth between using them and not.

^Agreed!
^I feel the same! Clutter makes me feel overwhelmed!
^I feel the same with all the above. Although I still have to deal with the newspaper being a TS3 player, but I have my sims immediately cancel the newspaper upon moving in.
I LOATHE the burglars!!!
^I was tired with it the moment it came out so yeah, I've been patiently waiting for TS5... *sigh*
^YES!
^Same! They're too dang huge!
^That I totally agree with! It's one of the reasons why I haven't added the Supernatural EP to my game...
I don't like playing out multiple generations...
and playing with Aging Off is my normal.
