I want them to push the agenda forward again (like Sims 1 with THE KISS) and advertise the hip new hijabs FOR MEN.
Honestly, that's what I've wanted since hijab CC came out. (To put it on several men ... and then MAYBE a couple women. )
We not only need everyone in the world to feel included, but we need the future thinkers included too with some crazy dreams ... and to feel less sad about our world and MORE HOPE.

You can just use the unisex option in the game for this.
Yes! - We need everyone in the world to feel included
If anyone thinks diversity is wrong or offensive, then maybe they're the ones with the problem... just saying.
The world consists of more than what is perceived to be the "default" (heterosexual, cisgender, white, male, able bodied, neurotypical, etc). There's nothing wrong with the inclusion of LGBT, racial minorities, or people with disabilities (in fact, I would highly encourage the developers to think about the possibility of adding the option to create Sims with disabilities, physical and neurological).
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ I don't care nor am I worried about it sure we LBGQT stuff I support it but don't mean have use it even random townie wears so what's big just a game I see people in real life I don't judge or it bothers me I walk on by I live part of my city is china town so Asian ill be seeing every day to half my neighbours either middle eastern or India last week was festival of Muslim folks. back to the topic so being religion headwear doesn't mean my sims going wear it or mite use another way head scaf for the winter. So why judge?
No - I don’t care (but maybe free content is nice)
nah, i don't care, but i don't like hypocritical double standards on what is included and who gets represented and i don't like when companies pat themselves on the back for being inclusive. inclusivity should be a given, not something to make a big fuss about.
as for the current drama, i'm not upset about the hijab itself. i do hope this means that they have changed their opinion on not including religion in the game and we will soon see other religious items included.
There are 4200 real world religions. They could have added nothing of any of them, instead, they're not being inclusive, by only adding parts of a tiny handful of them.
Why can't they just make a real world religions stuff pack? Add elements of ALL of them, it would also make it easier for people who don't want any of it in their game to avoid it.
Or they could have added headscarves, without making any fuss, and making them just as fashion items. I don't get why they chose such a controversial version.
Yes! - We need everyone in the world to feel included
Yes. Inclusivity and representation is important.
I only started playing TS4 a few months ago. Was there this big a stink when the holiday pack came out and included a ton of Christmas stuff, a Chanukiah and banners including dreidals, and Diwali stuff? I can't speak for people who celebrate Diwali, but I am Jewish and I can tell you that a Chanukiah is 100% a religious symbol as well as a cultural one (it represents the miracle of the consecrated oil lasting for eight days instead of one).
Yes! - We need everyone in the world to feel included I need diversity like the real world.
Honestly I like all the cultures from the West to the East and from the North to the South. That is my world.
I'm tired of the "American/European White Straight Christian Male" culture in the movies, TV and video games, it doesn't reflect the diversity of our world.
Yes! - We need everyone in the world to feel included
If they're going to add religious beliefs they should also include the Pentacost, Baptists, Christian Muslims, Jews, Celts, Ancient Mythology belief, etc. As long as it doesn't allow hatred, cruelty & pornograghy.
No - I don’t care (but maybe free content is nice)
I don't care much. On the other hand, they could add some cooking recipes from those cultures and not just clothing/BB stuff.
Food's a part of a culture, y'know?
It's not a case of them adding content that makes people uncomfortable, it's more about what hasn't been added. If the team wants to go the diversity route then they need to get busy because there's a lot of cultures, lifestyles and more out there in the big wide world. They've put themselves in a precarious situation and people are perfectly justified in asking "where's this" or "where's that" because the team has made a big fuss over diversity and now they have to transform their words into action.
Yes! - How dare they add something that makes me uncomfortable
I honestly prefer that they didn't as it is opening a door that they can't close. They would now have to try and include things for everyone to avoid leaving people out and feeling excluded and not everyone wants certain things in their game which is a problem when it is game patches as we need the patches. Their own policy in the past was not to include religion and politics due to how complex and tense it can be and not even allowed to discuss it and now ignoring more comments at this point as people get too heated when it comes to these topics and they know that, so why do that now?
If they are really going to do it, at least make it a separate free patch that isn't required but a choice that the players can make instead.
I think it's too late for this question now. The team has definitely chosen a path whether we agree with it or not, they did a long time ago.
I think the question now should be "would you like all those things to be optional?" "would you like to have filters and toggles to choose if you want such and such item in your game?"

We need to get people so used to seeing other cultures, clothes and religious observances that we don't worry about them any more. I find diversity interesting. We get to see a lot in my Tourist friendly city.
Yes! - We need everyone in the world to feel included
I hate organized religion as much as the next person, probably even more so, but no one said we have to use the objects in any religious or political context, or even use them at all. Plus I'll take a hijab over those god-awful Star Wars outfits any day (which I finally modded out, so I don't have to see them anymore).
No - I don’t care (but maybe free content is nice)
At the end of the day, only one truth emerges... its a freakin' game, played individually (it's not a MMORPG) so it's YOUR game, therefore YOUR rules. No-one can tell you how to play it, only you decide what your -virtual reality but totally unreal- sims will wear, how they act... good grief, there are so many diverse (and I mean REALLY diverse) mods out there that are so popular, their creators are getting thousands of dollars a month from patrons supporting them... what in heaven's name does a few items of clothing matter?
As has already been put (succintly in some cases, bluntly in others) - if you don't like it, don't use it. There are a LOT of things I don't like in CAS but I simply bypass them in my selections.
Yes! - We need everyone in the world to feel included
The world is diverse. While not every save I play in my game reflects the real world, some do and I like that the game reflects a lot (though certainly not all) of that.
No - I don’t care (but maybe free content is nice)
I don't care tbh, but if they're going to do it, do it for all or create some sim-versions of many in one. Just another 🐸🐸🐸🐸 idea from this team, doesn't surprise me at all.
Yes! - We need everyone in the world to feel included
It is not a top priority for me but I think it is a very nice gesture to try to include different cultures.
When it comes to politics and religion, I want the game to be neutral.
Edit: just to clarify. I don't have problems with one hijab added to the game. While it is a hot topic in my country with people going to court to discuss whether or not it should be allowed at schools, I don't mind people wearing it if they wear it by choice.
But I don't want religious symbols or interactions in my game. That is for cc creators.
Yes! - How dare they add something that makes me uncomfortable
I don't mind the hijab so much, but I really would prefer that they don't add any religious symbols and connotations to the game. If they did I'd rather it be something sims-like, like how Medieval had it's own religions and churches.
Political stuff should also be left out of the game...don't want any Trump or Hillary posters in build/buy.
