Deadened Emotions Bug

So I got my sims to complete the Vampire aspiration and also got them both to make and drink the cure but they still seem to have the deadened emotions buff which I assume should have left when the vampirism did? Can someone please help if this has happened in your game and advise how to get rid of it or is it a bug?

I use MCCC as well and when I was checking the buffs, it was showing that the vampirism was still hidden in the buffs, could it be down to this?

This issue has been around for a long time. There are certain vampire powers and weaknesses that a sim will retain even after curing them of vampirism or using the potion of reconfiguration on them. Besides dampened emotions, the uncontrollable hissing weakness and I think also the ones where they can’t eat human food/sleep in beds are also affected. I believe someone made a mod which fixes this bug since EA hasn’t yet deigned to fix their own mess.

Hey @MaggieMarley, thanks so much for replying first of all and thanks for the link. I will try this to see if it works and know next time I'm trying to complete the aspirations I'll save vampire one for last ha!

It works but you have to travel out of home and back for it to take effect
