    Another Way to Play Off-The-Grid in The Sims 4

    In this Sims 4, when you don't pay the bills, over the course of a few days your power, plumbing, and other appliances are shut down. This is realistic- and also makes me wonder, could you have a sim live off-the-grid this way?

      Curious about that, too. I know that just recently, a lot of appliances and objects are listed as working off-grid, that weren't previously. But I tried it in one of my games and got my fill quickly, of unpleasant unheated showers, and while a stove that works off grid is nice, no fridge means...you starve while waiting to harvest vegetables and fruits? Not sure. But at least certain electronics now work off-grid so you're not stuck in a shack, playing the guitar alone in the dark with a single candle til you go quietly mad chewing carrots.
