If you get too much content at one time you tend to miss all the new features in packs. I like getting new stuff gradually it gives me time to explore what I can do with it. I don't miss the occasional £10 given out for good stuff packs like Moschino.

Agree! I feel they really redeemed themselves from "the stuff pack which shall not be mentioned" ;) with this pack.

I like smaller packs for themes which would not have been done otherwise. But it the content fits in a GP or EP, it should be included in the bigger packs.
I want mainly EP's and GP's but occasionally a SP would be ok.

I don't see why not. And I don't think they've got any reason to stop producing them tbh. So long as they don't totally ignore GPs and EPs for stuff packs that is. They add variety to the game and are totally optional. With the exception of one or two, I don't regret buying any of the current SPs. I'd love to see what else they might come up with.

Yes for the added CAS and BB items, but I want them to make more GPs. We have enough SPs for now.

I say yes because there is content available at all price ranges. Not everyone can afford a $60 game with $40 DLCs so having a variety of prices for content is beneficial to everyone.

I personally would love more, but either add more items/clothes or decrease the price please.

I vote "Yes" because stuff packs give me the option to pick what I want to add to my game or not. More stuff for male Sims please.

I prefer GPs to any of the other types of packs in TS4 because none of the EPs, except Seasons, has, IMO, felt like they truly expanded~ the game, in depth, as a whole (like TS2's Nightlife or TS3's Generations), but I do enjoy a stuff pack with many assets and more than one gameplay feature that will enrich gameplay/make it more enjoyable. It should also be noted that I bought Laundry Day at half off and would not pay more for it; I don't believe any of the SPs released thus far have been worth 9.99 USD; and any of the SPs I've purchased at more than half off I have, in fact, regretted purchasing. All in all, I do hope TS4 team will developing SPs with more gameplay enriching features, BB, and CAS items--I'm hoping at least one of them will actually be worth the full asking price.

Mine isn't quite listed--Yes but I'd like more GPs than SPs. EPs tend to be 1-2 as it is with how big they are.

I would appreciate stuff packs if they included more content because I feel like that would make them more worth their price

Stuff packs can do a good job of filling a niche desire/need. Obviously the most popular stuff packs are things with broad general appeal (Laundry Day). But a lot of them are valuable for adding stuff with really specific appeal to a very narrow idea (Bowling). This isn’t stuff that everyone wants but for the people who DO want them, they are neat, and they might not have a place in a larger pack.

I want to keep stuff packs, but honestly I prefer when either they’re as niche as possible OR as stuffed as possible. Ones like Perfect Patio that just hide one basic object that should be base game behind a $10 paywall with some filler items (that I like, but still) to justify the price feel dodgy. If it was as good as Laundry Day I might not feel as scammed, but otherwise? Way to cynically hold hot tubs for ransom. I see your game, and it’s not okay. Or like how MFPS should’ve just been in C&D. Like I want a wishing well, or the banquet tables, but $10 apiece is a LOT to spend to get them when the packs otherwise don’t add much that speaks to a gap in my gameplay or sims or builds, and what they do add is generic enough that it feels weird to even give it a theme and pack. Like, what distinguishes this enough to warrant being a $10 pack instead of a free upgrade to something we already have? Or at least putting it at a lower price point.

I actually appreciate the existence of stuff packs and their place in the DLC hierarchy the most when they’re something that make some people go “what. who asked for this” at literally the exact same moment that another group is going “YEAAAAAHHH I am going to use that CONSTANTLY”. Because the first group can easily skip it without missing out on other content they might want (the Strangerville dilemma - wanting the new world and career, but not the story) and the latter group gets the game they want. Like either the stuff pack needs to have a super large amount of super high quality general use items, or it needs to narrow its focus to things that are so stylized and specific they can’t be naturally slotted into the game elsewhere. Everything else makes me feel a little bit like I’m being taken for a dodo.
    Sometimes I stream.

Yes only because you can get them more frequently. GPs or EPs take longer to create (I assume) and only include a few items specific to that pack. SPs for more stuff to enhance current game play. I'm for more stuff for sims to do and more places for them to go. More build and CAS stuff is good too. I say more stuff and upgrades.

Bring on the casino stuff pack with a hotel game pack. i want an elder stuff pack, a teen stuff pack, a wedding stuff pack, even a cute romance stuff pack that adds cute interactions, slow dancing, footsies while eating, an interactive bear rug. I would even love to see some more stuff packs for toddlers and children. Maybe some hobby, or club stuff packs for kids, there are still so many more things children need. I wouldn’t mind seeing a small animal stuff pack with snakes, tarantula’s, birds, lizards and other things like that, that don’t take up a lot of space, can set on a counter, table, dresser, end table, coffee table or bookshelf, or floor.that intersects with parenthood.but can also be used with adults.

We might have Simmer annoyance with a "My Even Smaller Pets Stuff Pack" :) I could see lots of creatures added if we got a Zoo Pack though or a pack of Large Animals, like horses, cows, sheep for a Farm Expansion or Game Pack.

I hope we get a lot more of such Stuff, even one perhaps "Extra Stuff" for things they could have added to any of them but didn't, including the very small pets!
  • one year later and my answer is still a big no. im just sick of this dumb EA milking the fanbanse agenda plumenometry.

I was all for checking the dictionary to find out what the last word meant and then realised the "plum" in front. :o ! I get what you mean even though I might disagree. :)

No, EP and GP are enough.
I wish they would do more community driven stuff packs. Being able to vote on Laundry Day SP and its content was really fun.

I want tons of stuff in all forms and packs. Some things are best for huge EP's like farming, some things best for medium GP's like magic and some things best for SP's like martial arts.

I didn't pick, because I just want lots of content. I like stuff packs better in Sims4 than Sims3. The packs have actual play to them at times. I'm also more into EPs, so I probably would've picked that answer. I wish they had another Ep team. We use to have loads of content via store and packs in Sims3. So, I also miss the store as far as packs and worlds, but not singles and lots of downloaded nightmares. I just think we need a team starting a new project while the other 3 are making packs.

Lol.... I see you are annoyed with stuff packs. But, you don’t have to buy them if you don’t want them, why deny those of us who do? I’m not that jazzed about university myself, yet I’m sure there will be some things I like about it. I liked my first pet stuff. And yes, I think they should have added all pets in cats and dogs, but they didn’t. I want to be able to make a pet store ( where many types of animals are sold, including cats and dogs).

I expect to see farm animals and possibly horses in an expansion pack, though they might be able to concentrate on horses more if they make it it’s own game pack with other horse activities.

I want to see zoo’s, amusement parks and water parks either in game packs or expansions. I also want to see a county fair ( that would be good to add to farming).

I still want hotels, and more vacation packs. And even though they had apartments with city living, I wish they would let us make our own apartments in other towns.

I want many different kinds of packs including world packs, but yes, I enjoy stuff packs very much..... lol.

I don't have any stuff packs, and probably would barely use them, so I buy EPs and GPs. (Although, I don't want the 2 remaining GPs I need.)
