The Sims 3: Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang

Scooby-Doo and the Mystery Gang just moved into their new house in Moonlight Falls. Typical Shaggy Rogers is already cowering in his shoes... 
But soon as Shaggy is done cowering, he makes his way to the trampoline and starts jumping on it...
Shaggy is sure having a blast on the trampoline as it makes him forget what he was cowering about...
The university mascot shows up to pay them a brief visit while Velma Dinkley is playing with Scooby...
The paperboy came to deliver the newspaper and then changed out of his clothes into his swimming trunks thinking that he was going to go for a swim in the pool, but the gate got locked and so he changed back into his clothes and left.
Then the mascot took out a university goodie bucket from his car and left it outside of their fence for them to see...
Fred Jones decided to go for a swim in the pool. As he was walking to the backyard, a strange blue static like light emerges from the ground...
Daphne Blake gets a phone call from the school board asking her if she can teach a art class at the school, so she said yes. Of course she is curious about the strange device that just appeared in the front yard...
When Shaggy was done on the trampoline, he headed to the diving board as he wanted to make a big splash...
While Shaggy was getting ready for his dive, Fred decided that he wanted to use the sliding board...
Shaggy made his dive but it wasn't the big splash that he wanted to do...
Fred seems to be having fun sliding down the sliding board..."wheeeeeee" Fred said as he was doing down...lol...
Then it was Scooby-Doo that was cowering due to the fact that there will be a full moon tonight...
Scooby then saw the strange device, so he went over to sniff it out and saw the university mascot on his way over there...
Once Scooby finished checking out the device, he started searching for some clues around the area of it...
Velma then spotted the strange device and went to check it out.
After she swiped her foot over it, a strangely dressed man popped out of it knocking Velma into the bush behind her...
Once Velma came out of the bush, she went to the strangely dressed man and asked him who he is.
So he introduced himself as Emit Relevart as he was handing her the almanac of time. She then wanted to know why he was there handing her an almanac and he explained to her that he came from the future looking for The Mystery Gang. He said that he had read all about their many mysterious cases that they had solved over the years and that he needed their help in his timeline in Oasis Landing.
Shaggy gets a phone call from the Bistro in town asking if he could cook up some excellent quality crepes for their cooking class, so he accepted their offer. It looks like there will be a trip in the future to France so that he can buy the recipe...
Velma called Fred out to the front yard so that she could introduce Fred to Emit. So he wanted to know why he was on their property...
So Velma explained to him that Emit was from the future and that he needed them to help him with a mystery in Oasis Landing which is in Emit's timeline...
Then Emit leaned into their conversation and whispered something to Velma and Fred.
Then Velma and Fred called Shaggy and Daphne to the front yard so that Fred and Velma could tell them that they have a new mystery to solve...

Daphne had caught up to him and handed over the 5 cells that he needed and he checked them out to make sure that they're in good shape...
Then Emit went over to the time machine and placed the powers cells in their places and ran a diagnostic on the machine to see if everything was okay, but he had to rearrange the power cells and did another diagnostic. He did this a couple more times until he got he the readings that he was looking for...
Once he felt that everything was okay, he jumped into the time machine hoping that it sends him back to his timeline in Oasis Landing. But before he jumped in, he wanted the gang to wish him luck and that he hopes to see them on the other side...
The gang ended up going inside for one of their meetings to talk about their strange visitor and to decide if they wanted to take on the job and help solve Emit's mystery. Poor Fred and Shaggy got burnt to a crisp while they were outside shirtless...
Daphne and Fred take the couch while Velma takes the chair leaving Shaggy to stand while they discuss the matter at hand...
Fred starts the conversion asking how does Emit know about them and Velma told him that Emit claims that he's read about the many mysteries that they solved over the years. Velma then goes on to explain about the almanac that Emit gave her stating that it keeps track of things that has happen or will happen in their timeline and how it can be used to change future events. She told Fred that when she gets a chance, that she will take a look at it and try to do some research on Emit and the almanac. Fred and the rest all came to the conclusion that once they know a little bit more about Emit and the book that they will decide then if they want to take the job or not...
After they got done with their meeting, Shaggy goes and fixes some Ratatouille for dinner as everyone was hungry...
While Shaggy was doing that, Fred goes and cleans out the refrigerator as there was some bad food in it...
Fred takes the trash outside to the trashcan not knowing that there is a zombie standing just outside of the fence waiting someone to come out so that she can eat their brains. Or I should say, try to eat their brains...
The zombie is Ashley Edskar and she has spotted Fred as he was walking pass her.
Ashley starts to amble off over to where Fred is, so he better watch out...
Fred has no clue that he is being stalked by Ashley the Zombie...
While Fred was dusting off some dirt from his pants, Ashley steps in front of him taking him by surprise when he looked up and seen her standing there...
She then tries to attack Fred so that she can bite him...
But was very unsuccessful as she grabbed her head in agony...
Fred then cowers down when she starts groaning in pain...
Once Shaggy was done fixing dinner, he calls everyone for dinner and grabs himself a plate and take it to the table to eat it. But by the time everyone comes to eat, he's already finished his food and was cleaning up his dirty plate. Of course Scooby is standing there waiting for someone to give him a plate of Ratatouille for his dinner even through he just ate from his doggy food...
So Fred gave Scooby the extra plate off of the table for him to eat it as it was a plate for Shaggy...
But Shaggy was still hungry and grabs himself another plate of Ratatouille to eat...
Velma takes her plate and picks up Scooby's plate to take into the kitchen to be placed into the dishwasher...
The Ratatouille must had been really good that Daphne grabbed another plate and sat down with Shaggy to it...
While Velma placed hers and Scooby's dirty plates into the dishwasher, Fred cleans up the stove for Shaggy...

After Velma was done eating, she went upstairs to their small study to use the computer to try to find anything on Emit Relevart so that they can know more about this strange man before taking on his case...
In the meantime, Shaggy sits down and watches the cooking channel where he ends up learning several new recipes. Scooby is also watching the TV as well...
When Fred was done cleaning the stove, he heads on upstairs and draws himself a bath before bedtime...
Scooby wants Daphne to play with him, so she plays with Scooby...
Daphne and Scooby go outside so that she can chase him around for a little bit before she heads to bed...
Fred and Daphne both climb into bed and fall fast asleep...
As well as Velma is in her bed fast asleep...
Shaggy then ends up in bed fast asleep while Scooby enters into the room to watch Shaggy...
Scooby then jumps up on the bed and watch and guard Shaggy as he sleeps...
But then Scooby gets tired himself and fells asleep as well...
But then Scooby wakes up and goes outside to guard the Mystery Machine van...
But of course Scooby gets skittish over the full moon...
Fred and Daphne both wake up due to the fact that Scooby came running into house barking about something that spooked him...
Shaggy even wakes up over the commotion and goes and sits down on the wicker sofa in the room next to his bedroom...
Fred and Daphne come downstairs and sits down with Shaggy while they try to figure out what scared Scooby...
Shaggy seems to be worried about something with that look on his face. Could it be possible that he heard a strange noise that has him worried?

While Fred, Shaggy and Daphne were all sitting inside of the house, a fairy walks by the house. Could that be why Scooby got scared for and ran inside the house barking and waking everyone up except Velma who is still sound asleep?
Fred decided that they should go outside to find what it was that scared Scooby. So they get outside only to find this strange coffin out in their front yard. Daphne readies herself in her karate pose in case something jumps out at them. Now who could put that thing there and why?
Velma then wakes up and comes outside to see what all the fuss is about. She finds the rest of the gang all looking at the strange coffin and asks where it came from. So Fred explained about Scooby waking them up and that they decided to come outside to check to see what it was and saw this in their yard. Fred said that he didn't have any idea of where it came from or what it is. Fred wanted to pry it open while Shaggy told him that it wasn't such a good idea and Velma agreed with him...
Velma tells Fred not to touch it as she was headed inside stating that she wanted to do some research on it to find out what it is and what it does...
Velma found a website for a local company in Moonlight Falls that makes these coffins, so she read the information about the their products. Once she read the information on the site, she printed off the information and the instructions on how to use it just in case there isn't any on the coffin...
She goes back outside to tell the rest of the gang on what she found out about their mysterious present in their front yard. She explained to them that it was made right there in Moonlight Falls and that it contains a skeleton inside of if that is a maid that can be used to help around the house. Of course Shaggy's afraid of skeletons and Fred wants to know why it's there and who put it there. So Velma explains that the company gives them out to the residents of Moonlight Falls while the rest of the world needs to buy them. She explains that it's the company's way of thanking everyone who moves to Moonlight Falls.
After Velma was done telling the gang the information that she has on the coffin, Fred gets his ghost scanner and scans the coffin and around the area of it for any ghosts before they go and open it up...
So Fred scans it and didn't find any ghosts attached to the coffin which is a good thing...
Fred goes to open it up but Velma stops hims as she told him that she found a special skeleton key that they need to use it as well as a special chant...
Since Velma knows how to say the chant, she tells Fred that she will open it while Shaggy is shaking in fear as he's afraid of what might be in there...
After the coffin door opens, Shaggy feels a bit faint at what he sees stepping out of it...
And passes out while the gang watch on and Scooby is looking at the skeleton.
Of course Scooby cowers in fear of the skeleton as they scare the heck out of him...
Velma is the first one that goes over to introduce herself to the skeleton and learns that the skeleton's name is Bonehilda. Bonehilda goes on to explain her duties as a maid to Velma and reassures her that she is as harmless as they come and she apologizes to Velma for scaring her friends. (As Velma was approaching Bonehilda, they both got hearts for each other. Really? I don't think Velma rolls that way...

@Mikezumi, It sure is. And I got feeling that he's going to be passing out whenever he sees any supernatural beings around town.
As he should be. Never know when there might be a werewolf or 2 sniffing around...
Hopefully it is exciting for them...

Yup, his cooking will come in handy around the house or any camping that they do...

While Shaggy was fixing breakfast, Bonehilda decided to teach Scooby a new trick which would be to sit down...
She finally gets Scooby to sit down. YAY, he's such a good doggy...
Bonehilda awards Scooby with a Scooby Snack and praises him for being a good doggy as well...
Fred goes inside and cleans up the dirty counter for Shaggy while Shaggy is cooking up the pancakes...
Shaggy spices up the pancakes before serving them and calling everyone to the table...
He sets the table and lets everyone know that breakfast is ready...
The rest of the gang comes inside and sits down to eat their pancakes...
Fred suggest that they should write The Magic Shoppe a thank you letter for their thoughtful gift but Velma suggest that they should just pay the shoppe a visit and thank them in person...
Daphne was so impressed with the pancakes that she tells Shaggy that she loves his new recipe for pancakes. She also asked him what all is in the pancakes to make them taste delicious and he told her that it's just the standard pancake recipe with some cinnamon added into the batter as well as some sprinkled on top of them...
After everyone ate their plates of pancakes, they went back for seconds while they all were telling Shaggy that he did a good job on them. Of course Shaggy is all worried about the mystery gift giver and is afraid of what they might see when they go to The Magic Shoppe.
Both Fred and Velma end up picking up the dirty plates and taking them out to the kitchen so that they can place them in the dishwasher.
Bonehilda went and sat down at the fire pit and started reading a book that she had on her...
After the dishes were all put into the dishwasher, the gang heads outside so that all could gather into the Mystery Machine and head over to The Magic Shoppe...
Velma gives Fred the address of the shoppe so that Fred could put it into his GPS. She tells him that the shoppe is on the left hand side of the road just right before they get to the Moonlight Falls Graveyard.
The gang finally arrives at The Magic Shoppe which is located outside of the main town and not too far from the La Shove Beach and Moonlight Point...
So Fred parks the Mystery Machine in one of the parking spots and everyone gets out so that they can all go inside of the shoppe...
They all enter into the shoppe and have a look around...

The first thing that Shaggy checks out is the broom rack which is buyable even though the store doesn't sell the riding brooms...
Of course Shaggy starts to cower about the fact that there could be witches living in Moonlight Falls and he knows that witches ride brooms...
Shaggy then goes and checks out the stuff on the counter. He sees a voodoo doll and a Magic 8 Ball...
Shaggy decides to ask the Magic 8 Ball a question, so he decides to ask if he should learn a new skill...
After Shaggy asks his question, he shakes the magic ball a few times before looking to see what the answer will be...
Shaggy read his answer and got all excited about it. The magic ball told him that he should learn a new skill, so now he needs to decide what skill that will be...
When Shaggy was done with the magic ball, he placed it back on the counter thinking to himself that he needs to buy one of them later. He then picks up the voodoo doll and decide to use it on Fred, so he goes over and starts talking to Fred...
But then Shaggy points at something behind Fred which causes Fred to turn around to see what Shaggy is looking at...
When Fred turns around after not seeing anything, he was taken by surprise when he saw Shaggy holding the voodoo doll in his face...
But Fred wasn't having any of that voodoo nonsense and grabs the voodoo doll from Shaggy...
Of course it took Shaggy by surprise that Fred would do that to him.
Fred then proceeds to give Shaggy a piece of his mind about the voodoo doll and telling Shaggy that those things don't really work as that is all just a myth. The Fred throws the voodoo doll down on the ground so that he can get rid of it. (It was added to Shaggy's inventory which is a good thing as Shaggy just might need to use it one of these days...
Velma went over to introduce herself to Kyle Huang and to find out who she can thank personally for the Bonehilda coffin but he just ignored her instead. So when Velma gets a chance, she will do more research on who the owners of The Magic Shoppe could be as she still wants to thank them and find more info on Bonehilda.
Daphne saw the mirrors that was lining the walls and went over to check herself out in one of them. (You know Daphne is always worried about her looks and all...
But as she was looking into the mirror, it turned black and a strange face pops up into it...
She then starts to practice her charisma in the mirror while Shaggy goes over to check out the mood light. Of course he checks out the blue light which gives you a blue feeling...
Glen Schell who is a tourist was checking out one of the Bonehilda coffins...
Fred saw the magic wands and he decided that he wanted to see if the wands actually work for anyone or if the user needs to be a witch.
So he starts to wave the wand around to see what would happen...
But of course it wouldn't work for him as the wand disappeared and left a ball of fire behind...

When Glen Schell was done looking at the Bonehilda coffins, he went over to where Daphne was standing at and hooked his arm through her arm...
Daphne was still checking herself out in the mirror when she saw Glen's hand appear through her...
Velma was the first to leave the group as she had to get to her part-time job at the bookstore. So chose that job as she is a bookworm and it gives her a chance to see what new supernatural books come in the store just in case she needs to buy some to help the gang solve their many mysteries...
So Shaggy, Daphne and Scooby headed on home. When Shaggy got there, he went and paid this weeks bills so that they wouldn't have to see the repo-man or woman showing up to repo some of their items in the house...
Fred gets to his first job of the night and knocks on the door to let the owner know that he was there. His first job was to use his ghost scanner to scan the rooms and around the outside of the house for ghost as he needed to find 2 of them and then have them banished...
Fred starts with the outside of the house looking for ghost but was unsuccessful on finding any out there...
So then Fred made his way inside starting with the screened in porch and then into the kitchen to scan in there.
Fred got lucky and found one. He then proceeded to banish the ghost...
Then he made his way through other rooms and then headed upstairs where he found one in the master bedroom...
And as with the other ghost, he proceeded to banish this one as well...

He then proceeded towards the back of the house as he saw another spirit and proceeded to banish that one as well...
The next spirit was on the back porch of the house, so Fred banishes that one while Deedee watches Fred do his job...
Then Fred went to the front yard as Deedee told him that the last one was out that way, so goes and banish that one as well. And after that spirit was banished, Fred was done for the night with his job as there wasn't anymore ghost/spirit spottings...
Fred headed over to the graveyard so that he could release all of the ghost/spirits that he collected so that they can hopefully rest in peace now...
When Fred gets home, he goes and collects the newspaper so that he can see whats in the news while Bonehilda teaches Scooby Doo a new trick...
Bonehilda was teaching Scooby to bark on command...
Scooby does end up barking on command, so Bonehilda give Scooby a Scooby treat...
It would seem that the mystery van has one of those devices that drives itself to the location where Velma was at when she got out of work and had hit her key fob since the van was parked in the driveway at their house...
And the same could be said about Shaggy's bathtub ride as he needed a ride home as he was down the sidewalk trying to following Fred to his next stop as he, Daphne and Fred was still in a group...
Now Bonehilda is teaching Scooby a new trick...
She's teaching him to shake hands, so she keeps grabbing his paw and shaking it...
Scooby ended up giving her his paw, so she pets his head and tells him he's a good boy...
She then rewards him with another Scooby snack...
