@Brandontaylor It's been fun reading your Elvis facts. I didn't know much about him beside the fact that he was the King of rock n roll. And a heartthrob and American icon! A tragic ending to a man of such enormous talent! It seems to be a very common tale once some folks reach stardom.

So I'm still here y'all. (Gosh I sound so southern speaking like that! Two years living in Georgia has caused the y'all to stick with me all these years. ) The thread has seemed awfully quiet as of late, but like @Silverofdreams30 told me it's probably because everyone is still busy getting kids off to school and wrapping up the summer. Heck, that's what I was totally doing!
I've also been quite immersed in my writing. It feels great to feel SO good and motivated!! I honestly haven't felt this good in months and I am so grateful to my God and modern medicine! And for a loving and understanding husband.
Anyhoo I'll try hard not to be a stranger and crank out some random gameplay stuff from time to time in between new Holland Family chapters. (Working on the next chapter now. )

Today I have decided to play my Disney Challenge fam now that I have all the EPs i need for it. I even have some castle furniture so any examples on castle layouts? My current family is snow white themed.

He sure did. If I remember correctly, he had over 600 songs he released over the 1954-1977 timeframe as well as the 32 movies he made.
It was a really great show. I loved most of the performances, I just hope they do one for the 50th anniversary of the Aloha Concert which is one of my favorites to watch online.

It was pretty tragic. He had a lot of medical issues towards the end like glaucoma and heart trouble, plus he was overdosing on prescription medication to keep up with his grueling schedule.
That's true, a lot of celebrities have died from overdosing.

So after the gang had finished their meeting with Emit, Emit asked Daphne to go and find 5 unbroken power cells claiming that he needs them to fix the time machine. So when Daphne found 5 power cells, she called out to Emit as he was out checking around the outside of the fence for some...
Daphne had caught up to him and handed over the 5 cells that he needed and he checked them out to make sure that they're in good shape...
Then Emit went over to the time machine and placed the powers cells in their places and ran a diagnostic on the machine to see if everything was okay, but he had to rearrange the power cells and did another diagnostic. He did this a couple more times until he got the readings that he was looking for...
Once he felt that everything was okay, he jumped into the time machine hoping that it sends him back to his timeline in Oasis Landing. But before he jumped in, he wanted the gang to wish him luck and that he hopes to see them on the other side...
The gang ended up going inside for one of their meetings to talk about their strange visitor and to decide if they wanted to take on the job and help solve Emit's mystery. Poor Fred and Shaggy got burnt to a crisp while they were outside shirtless...
Daphne and Fred take the couch while Velma takes the chair leaving Shaggy to stand while they discuss the matter at hand...
Fred starts the conversion asking how does Emit know about them and Velma told him that Emit claims that he's read about the many mysteries that they solved over the years. Velma then goes on to explain about the almanac that Emit gave her stating that it keeps track of things that has happen or will happen in their timeline and how it can be used to change future events. She told Fred that when she gets a chance, that she will take a look at it and try to do some research on Emit and the almanac. Fred and the rest all came to the conclusion that once they know a little bit more about Emit and the book that they will decide then if they want to take the job or not...
After they got done with their meeting, Shaggy goes and fixes some Ratatouille for dinner as everyone was hungry...
While Shaggy was doing that, Fred goes and cleans out the refrigerator as there was some bad food in it...
Fred takes the trash outside to the trashcan not knowing that there is a zombie standing just outside of the fence waiting someone to come out so that she can eat their brains. Or I should say, try to eat their brains...
The zombie is Ashley Edskar and she has spotted Fred as he was walking pass her.
Ashley starts to amble off over to where Fred is, so he better watch out...
Fred has no clue that he is being stalked by Ashley the Zombie...
While Fred was dusting off some dirt from his pants, Ashley steps in front of him taking him by surprise when he looked up and seen her standing there...
She then tries to attack Fred so that she can bite him...
But was very unsuccessful as she grabbed her head in agony...
Fred then cowers down when she starts groaning in pain...
Once Shaggy was done fixing dinner, he calls everyone for dinner and grabs himself a plate and take it to the table to eat it. But by the time everyone comes to eat, he's already finished his food and was cleaning up his dirty plate. Of course Scooby is standing there waiting for someone to give him a plate of Ratatouille for his dinner even through he just ate from his doggy food...
So Fred gave Scooby the extra plate off of the table for him to eat it as it was a plate for Shaggy...
But Shaggy was still hungry and grabs himself another plate of Ratatouille to eat...
Velma takes her plate and picks up Scooby's plate to take into the kitchen to be placed into the dishwasher...
The Ratatouille must had been really good that Daphne grabbed another plate and sat down with Shaggy to it...
While Velma placed hers and Scooby's dirty plates into the dishwasher, Fred cleans up the stove for Shaggy...
Yay!! I'm happy at this moment. It's Saturday morning - both in real life and in my game. This means the job for today, in the game, is to move 5 young sims out of my boarding school and send them back to their homes in Barnacle Bay. Then I'll know if I've got to do remove things from my boarding school lot too. I suspect I will need to reduce their garden significantly.

That's because She over cluttered it with objects.I mean I got lost in the house trying to find the kitchen because it looks more like a museum.
Not to say its not interesting, and the lab below is awesome, but the living quarters just wasnt't there.
So, I had high hopes for a smooth transition to Barnacle Bay. Naturally, toddlers in playpens are a problem. Just getting them out of the playpens and outside the building is an issue as sims tend to have their own ideas of where toddlers ought to be and will stand for real life minutes before picking them up when told to do so, and then instantly place them in another playpen or in a walker and have to be told to pick them up again. I just got it all organised and almost everyone down to the ground level out front of the building when the game decided it was time for a meteor to strike. I don't think anyone died - but I still have to check thoroughly. The building is on fire - both of them. The garden across the street and the main boarding school building too. Now I have more toddlers to get out of playpens and out of a burning building. I think I got the meteor strike on video. Hope so.

@GraceyManor That would definitely be why. If I remember correctly, it is supposed to be like a comic book shop which just so happens to be a superhero lair. I do know that ZooProfessor created it for someone who had made a team of superheroes for it but like you said, it doesn't really fit for a living area too.
It's hard, I know. I wanted to do a superhero story a while back (before my game acted up) but couldn't find anything good for a lair. Hope you can find something.
@Brandontaylor, I've a world for you if you want to check it out. The creator is auntielynds and the world name is Forever the 50's. The creator has Graceland in the world as well as Elvis Presley except she has Ann Margret living with him. I've taken pictures of the house but will have to upload them later to imgur and share them tomorrow as I'm about to get my little birdie ready for sleepy time and myself into bed...
***I'm just calling any Ava updates this as I don't really have anything planned for her. If and when I ever get a new computer, then I'll actually start a good gameplay with her. Anyway, here's what she was up to recently. Oh, and I actually got EA worlds to work with only a little lag but I can deal with it.
This is a new, unskilled Ava that I'm using for fun. She had a wish to learn cooking so I had her learn from a book for now.
Like every save, there is always a group of Sims who come to greet a new Sim. This save we got Cornelia Goth, Iliana Langerak, and Monika Morris.
Ava prepared Autumn Salad for her guests, something I always try to do. The reason I had her start with a book is I didn't want her to make breakfast with no skills.
I heard fighting so I searched around for the source and found Monika and Cornelia fighting in the bathroom. Apparently Cornelia thinks Monika is a drama queen or something.
After Monika left the bathroom, I think that Cornelia felt a bit ashamed of how she acted toward her.
Monika went into the living room to pillow fight with Iliana. Not long after this picture, one of them got offended by it. Not a good day for Monika.
Ava and Iliana had a nice chat over lunch while Cornelia and Monika sat elsewhere. Ava talked about her nice new home.
Once everyone was done, I had Ava send them on their way so she could head to Doo Peas to apply for a job. Of course, she got it and will now be working her way through the business career.

I sent her to the park afterwards so she could meet some more Sims. The first one she met was Iliana's husband, Dustin Langerak. They both got hearts for each other so I may go for it. I don't care if she breaks up any relationships or not, lol
Dustin and Ava talked about travelling the world, something Dustin hadn't done but Ava had. Nick Alto apparently has something against Dustin as he stood there and stared at him.
Nick: Wearing a jacket with shorts? People these days don't know how to dress.
Not sure whose ghost Zelda Mae wants to see.
Really, Nick, why'd you have to choose there of all places to have a picnic?
Both Dustin and Ava are charismatic, something that helped their relationship. Vita Alto also joined Nick for the picnic, I'm just glad Holly didn't try to as well. After this, I just sent Ava home to get ready for work.
Not only did I manage to video it - but I got a few screenshots too.
I think it tragic that one little sim had to endure not one, but two meteor strikes in his childhood. I'm talking about Oscar of course, his parents were killed by a meteor. That's why he lives at the boarding school.
It was the night of the full moon and Erica Wolff and Mena Fields were fishing at a local water hole. No screenshots of that but it did make it to the video. Erica transformed to her werewolf form.
Back at the boarding school, Whilemina Wolf, a child and daughter of Erica, transformed too. But I didn't see her transformation happen.
Gator Wolff, Whilemina's toddler brother, didn't transform and was happily playing in a walker.
Back at the boarding school some old horse was sleeping while standing out front.
A black unicorn turned up too. It was at the tiny fishing spot the children were fishing at earlier.
Next morning Erica was still fishing at the waterhole some distance from the Boarding School. Mena had been sent home to prepare to leave for Barnacle Bay with the teens and toddlers who belong in that world. Namely Westerly Cross, Alexanda Cross, Tyree Verona, Coral Goldbeard and Serena Abe. I was battling with the game to get them all downstairs to where the old horse had been sleeping during the previous night. It was a battle as the toddlers were all in playpens and telling the other travelers to pick the toddlers up and carry them downstairs was proving impossible. But I did manage to get some of them safely out there when Coral saw a huge shadow approaching and everyone got the react to meteor action.
Panic. I never saw the shadow but assumed it was going to hit the spot where I'd collected the travelers. Not everyone had arrived there yet. Some would be saved - I hoped. I was wondering how I was going to incorporate so many ghosts in my story. Who to save. I definitely wanted Eric and Oscar to survive. But I needed to get the travelers home too. Preferably alive. Then it hit. Since there are 25 sims in the household it was bedlam. Pandemonium. Total confusion. I got video showing the meteor strike the boarding school roof and pass straight through and land on the footpath outside. The travelers standing on the footpath appeared to be unharmed as the meteor just missed them.
Bruce Winterbottom came running I was trying to get everyone out of the building due to there being so many fires inside but the game kept interrupting me telling me 'toddler name' couldn't be left alone - "Call Babysitter or Stay Here". I started clicking Stay Here. But there are 8 toddlers in the building and it kept cycling through all of them so I then started to say Call Babysitter but it still kept cycling through all of the toddlers asking the same question. The thing is, just about EVERYONE was in the building and it was burning. I told Carlie Winterbottom to call the firefighters. I then found a couple of fire engines had already arrived and the fire fighters were putting out the fires. Two buildings were blazing and there were fires on multiple floors of the boarding school. I think I covered most of it in the video but here are a few screen shots I got.
I had sent Erica Wolff home to save her son as he was still inside. But only her head turned up. This had me confused for a while but there was nothing I could do about it. After the fires were out and the fire engines gone I was finally able to reset her and she looked normal again.

I sent my travelers off to Barnacle Bay leaving the mess at the boarding school in Chocolate Cake Island to clean up later. Much Later.
The Barnacle Bay boarding school is a dream to play after the Chocolate Cake Island experience. Absolutely no lag. But the memory problem in Barnacle Bay is real. I have a whole fairy village there. I moved a lot of the fairies out, with their houses, to other worlds to make the world playable. But I checked the memory being used. It is almost at Error 12 status in the Boarding School building, and going out to an empty space in the world only takes it down a few KB. So I'll be in danger of unavoidable Error 12 on attempts to save while in that world.

I think I'll see if I've got enough recorded now to start on the video. Probably not as I don't want it to me a video of toddlers reading books, and that's mostly what was going on over the past week or so. With major lag. Most of the time it was just sitting there with nothing happening with a few seconds of activity. That's why it took so long for me to get to this point. I plan to stay in Barnacle Bay for a few Sim days and incorporate the toddlers and teens back into their families. Play them a bit and also go and play in the fairy village for a while just to move things along there. I have a lot of toddlers in this world that have been through the boarding school and maybe it's time for some of them to become children.
I'll record video of what happens in Barnacle Bay and will use bits of it if I need it to make the video I'm working on for Oscar's Childhood interesting. The thing is Oscar isn't in the traveling group. He'll probably arrive in Barnacle Bay with Eric at some point though.

Juliette's not too happy about it either - since Clifton refused to sleep in the usual place, he had to steal Juliette's too small very uncomfortable bed. And she has to sleep on the couch.
I really need to Clifton to quit the lifeguard job for firefighter or doctor maybe once that occurs...
And Juliette wants to be an investigator - she's doing a day care right now. Guess it's good since she'll be able to watch Valentina's kid once Valentina goes back to work.
Maybe I'll start a randomly generated challenge to get a break for a change...
Liam and Victoria did it! They're now married! They got engaged at sunrise on Leisure Day and married the next afternoon. They have no clue yet but they're also expecting a baby!(I heard the lullaby)

@GraceyManor Yeah, the sim I used had handiness maxed, but he got terrified when zapped, which means it was slow going in that mansion.

@PalmArrow The Magic Mirror is an awesome contraption, yes. Regarding the reputation, I may have found something in the long defunct scrapbook of this game. It mentioned that the longest going romance of Marcus was with Dorie Hart, 337 days. I think she may have kissed him once in the early days, but she was married and rather - difficult - and nothing ever happened again. The Hart family moved away. Nevertheless, the game may have considered Marcus cheating on Dorie Hart all the time. Which is all sorts of weird.
@Silverofdreams30 Marcus may not be the worst looking, but you have a whole parade of candidates to choose from . I never tried any poses, I have to admit.
@meerkattime You would think sims would take offense at getting roasted to a crisp, but funny enough, the game doesn't even give you a ding for it. Which means the date of Salvador and Fiona was considered great. They went from acquaintances (0 relationship) to "Best Friend" territory. No romance involved though, lots of joking around instead.
@bekkasan I don't know either. How Jamie could keep her "eternally faithful" while starting a romance with Gobias Koffi, in front of the whole family no less, was kind of baffling. She lost the moodlet at some point though, so maybe it was a glitch. As Jamie and Gobias both have the "flirty" trait, that was kind of expected though, as they flirted pretty much every time they walked past each other. Magic duels are great for gaining levels at higher spellcasting levels.
I have never tried the architect career. I will save most Ambitions careers for times when I don't have to deal with a whole family.
@Brandontaylor Yeah, witches is pretty much all I use from Supernatural, plus the occasional vampire, but as I started Sims 3 with the "starter pack" in Bridgeport, those were more or less baseline in my mind. I have switched off some of the autonomous spellcasting though, like the love charm, or eating poison apples, which is funny once, but not all the time.
Heh, my favorite starter home in Sunset Valley. And lots of known faces. Good luck to Ava!

@Karritz I haven't had any meteor strikes in my game yet. That seems to be quite devastating. What do you think the reason for the lag is? The play pens? I never got those to work properly (the kids were overly attracted to them, and the adults obliged). Depending on how those iron-wrought patio fences were modeled, it may also be them.

Fred starts the conversion asking how does Emit know about them and Velma told him that Emit claims that he's read about the many mysteries that they solved over the years. Velma then goes on to explain about the almanac that Emit gave her stating that it keeps track of things that has happen or will happen in their timeline and how it can be used to change future events. She told Fred that when she gets a chance, that she will take a look at it and try to do some research on Emit and the almanac. Fred and the rest all came to the conclusion that once they know a little bit more about Emit and the book that they will decide then if they want to take the job or not...
After they got done with their meeting, Shaggy goes and fixes some Ratatouille for dinner as everyone was hungry...
While Shaggy was doing that, Fred goes and cleans out the refrigerator as there was some bad food in it...
Fred takes the trash outside to the trashcan not knowing that there is a zombie standing just outside of the fence waiting someone to come out so that she can eat their brains. Or I should say, try to eat their brains...
The zombie is Ashley Edskar and she has spotted Fred as he was walking pass her.
Ashley starts to amble off over to where Fred is, so he better watch out...
Fred has no clue that he is being stalked by Ashley the Zombie...
While Fred was dusting off some dirt from his pants, Ashley steps in front of him taking him by surprise when he looked up and seen her standing there...
She then tries to attack Fred so that she can bite him...
But was very unsuccessful as she grabbed her head in agony...
Fred then cowers down when she starts groaning in pain...
Once Shaggy was done fixing dinner, he calls everyone for dinner and grabs himself a plate and take it to the table to eat it. But by the time everyone comes to eat, he's already finished his food and was cleaning up his dirty plate. Of course Scooby is standing there waiting for someone to give him a plate of Ratatouille for his dinner even through he just ate from his doggy food...
So Fred gave Scooby the extra plate off of the table for him to eat it as it was a plate for Shaggy...
But Shaggy was still hungry and grabs himself another plate of Ratatouille to eat...
Velma takes her plate and picks up Scooby's plate to take into the kitchen to be placed into the dishwasher...
The Ratatouille must had been really good that Daphne grabbed another plate and sat down with Shaggy to it...
While Velma placed hers and Scooby's dirty plates into the dishwasher, Fred cleans up the stove for Shaggy...

That's because She over cluttered it with objects.I mean I got lost in the house trying to find the kitchen because it looks more like a museum.
Not to say its not interesting, and the lab below is awesome, but the living quarters just wasnt't there.

@GraceyManor That would definitely be why. If I remember correctly, it is supposed to be like a comic book shop which just so happens to be a superhero lair. I do know that ZooProfessor created it for someone who had made a team of superheroes for it but like you said, it doesn't really fit for a living area too.
It's hard, I know. I wanted to do a superhero story a while back (before my game acted up) but couldn't find anything good for a lair. Hope you can find something.

New Adventures of Ava Sinclair
***I'm just calling any Ava updates this as I don't really have anything planned for her. If and when I ever get a new computer, then I'll actually start a good gameplay with her. Anyway, here's what she was up to recently. Oh, and I actually got EA worlds to work with only a little lag but I can deal with it.
This is a new, unskilled Ava that I'm using for fun. She had a wish to learn cooking so I had her learn from a book for now.
Like every save, there is always a group of Sims who come to greet a new Sim. This save we got Cornelia Goth, Iliana Langerak, and Monika Morris.
Ava prepared Autumn Salad for her guests, something I always try to do. The reason I had her start with a book is I didn't want her to make breakfast with no skills.
I heard fighting so I searched around for the source and found Monika and Cornelia fighting in the bathroom. Apparently Cornelia thinks Monika is a drama queen or something.
After Monika left the bathroom, I think that Cornelia felt a bit ashamed of how she acted toward her.
Monika went into the living room to pillow fight with Iliana. Not long after this picture, one of them got offended by it. Not a good day for Monika.
Ava and Iliana had a nice chat over lunch while Cornelia and Monika sat elsewhere. Ava talked about her nice new home.
Once everyone was done, I had Ava send them on their way so she could head to Doo Peas to apply for a job. Of course, she got it and will now be working her way through the business career.

I sent her to the park afterwards so she could meet some more Sims. The first one she met was Iliana's husband, Dustin Langerak. They both got hearts for each other so I may go for it. I don't care if she breaks up any relationships or not, lol
Dustin and Ava talked about travelling the world, something Dustin hadn't done but Ava had. Nick Alto apparently has something against Dustin as he stood there and stared at him.
Nick: Wearing a jacket with shorts? People these days don't know how to dress.
Not sure whose ghost Zelda Mae wants to see.
Really, Nick, why'd you have to choose there of all places to have a picnic?
Both Dustin and Ava are charismatic, something that helped their relationship. Vita Alto also joined Nick for the picnic, I'm just glad Holly didn't try to as well. After this, I just sent Ava home to get ready for work.
Not only did I manage to video it - but I got a few screenshots too.
I think it tragic that one little sim had to endure not one, but two meteor strikes in his childhood. I'm talking about Oscar of course, his parents were killed by a meteor. That's why he lives at the boarding school.
It was the night of the full moon and Erica Wolff and Mena Fields were fishing at a local water hole. No screenshots of that but it did make it to the video. Erica transformed to her werewolf form.
Back at the boarding school, Whilemina Wolf, a child and daughter of Erica, transformed too. But I didn't see her transformation happen.
Gator Wolff, Whilemina's toddler brother, didn't transform and was happily playing in a walker.
Back at the boarding school some old horse was sleeping while standing out front.
A black unicorn turned up too. It was at the tiny fishing spot the children were fishing at earlier.
Next morning Erica was still fishing at the waterhole some distance from the Boarding School. Mena had been sent home to prepare to leave for Barnacle Bay with the teens and toddlers who belong in that world. Namely Westerly Cross, Alexanda Cross, Tyree Verona, Coral Goldbeard and Serena Abe. I was battling with the game to get them all downstairs to where the old horse had been sleeping during the previous night. It was a battle as the toddlers were all in playpens and telling the other travelers to pick the toddlers up and carry them downstairs was proving impossible. But I did manage to get some of them safely out there when Coral saw a huge shadow approaching and everyone got the react to meteor action.
Panic. I never saw the shadow but assumed it was going to hit the spot where I'd collected the travelers. Not everyone had arrived there yet. Some would be saved - I hoped. I was wondering how I was going to incorporate so many ghosts in my story. Who to save. I definitely wanted Eric and Oscar to survive. But I needed to get the travelers home too. Preferably alive. Then it hit. Since there are 25 sims in the household it was bedlam. Pandemonium. Total confusion. I got video showing the meteor strike the boarding school roof and pass straight through and land on the footpath outside. The travelers standing on the footpath appeared to be unharmed as the meteor just missed them.
Bruce Winterbottom came running I was trying to get everyone out of the building due to there being so many fires inside but the game kept interrupting me telling me 'toddler name' couldn't be left alone - "Call Babysitter or Stay Here". I started clicking Stay Here. But there are 8 toddlers in the building and it kept cycling through all of them so I then started to say Call Babysitter but it still kept cycling through all of the toddlers asking the same question. The thing is, just about EVERYONE was in the building and it was burning. I told Carlie Winterbottom to call the firefighters. I then found a couple of fire engines had already arrived and the fire fighters were putting out the fires. Two buildings were blazing and there were fires on multiple floors of the boarding school. I think I covered most of it in the video but here are a few screen shots I got.
I had sent Erica Wolff home to save her son as he was still inside. But only her head turned up. This had me confused for a while but there was nothing I could do about it. After the fires were out and the fire engines gone I was finally able to reset her and she looked normal again.

I sent my travelers off to Barnacle Bay leaving the mess at the boarding school in Chocolate Cake Island to clean up later. Much Later.
The Barnacle Bay boarding school is a dream to play after the Chocolate Cake Island experience. Absolutely no lag. But the memory problem in Barnacle Bay is real. I have a whole fairy village there. I moved a lot of the fairies out, with their houses, to other worlds to make the world playable. But I checked the memory being used. It is almost at Error 12 status in the Boarding School building, and going out to an empty space in the world only takes it down a few KB. So I'll be in danger of unavoidable Error 12 on attempts to save while in that world.

I think I'll see if I've got enough recorded now to start on the video. Probably not as I don't want it to me a video of toddlers reading books, and that's mostly what was going on over the past week or so. With major lag. Most of the time it was just sitting there with nothing happening with a few seconds of activity. That's why it took so long for me to get to this point. I plan to stay in Barnacle Bay for a few Sim days and incorporate the toddlers and teens back into their families. Play them a bit and also go and play in the fairy village for a while just to move things along there. I have a lot of toddlers in this world that have been through the boarding school and maybe it's time for some of them to become children.
I'll record video of what happens in Barnacle Bay and will use bits of it if I need it to make the video I'm working on for Oscar's Childhood interesting. The thing is Oscar isn't in the traveling group. He'll probably arrive in Barnacle Bay with Eric at some point though.

Clifton's super mad at Valentina now. Which is just terrible since she's due to have a baby soon. 😩
Juliette's not too happy about it either - since Clifton refused to sleep in the usual place, he had to steal Juliette's too small very uncomfortable bed. And she has to sleep on the couch.
I really need to Clifton to quit the lifeguard job for firefighter or doctor maybe once that occurs...
And Juliette wants to be an investigator - she's doing a day care right now. Guess it's good since she'll be able to watch Valentina's kid once Valentina goes back to work.

@PalmArrow The Magic Mirror is an awesome contraption, yes. Regarding the reputation, I may have found something in the long defunct scrapbook of this game. It mentioned that the longest going romance of Marcus was with Dorie Hart, 337 days. I think she may have kissed him once in the early days, but she was married and rather - difficult - and nothing ever happened again. The Hart family moved away. Nevertheless, the game may have considered Marcus cheating on Dorie Hart all the time. Which is all sorts of weird.
@Silverofdreams30 Marcus may not be the worst looking, but you have a whole parade of candidates to choose from
@meerkattime You would think sims would take offense at getting roasted to a crisp, but funny enough, the game doesn't even give you a ding for it. Which means the date of Salvador and Fiona was considered great. They went from acquaintances (0 relationship) to "Best Friend" territory. No romance involved though, lots of joking around instead.
@bekkasan I don't know either. How Jamie could keep her "eternally faithful" while starting a romance with Gobias Koffi, in front of the whole family no less, was kind of baffling. She lost the moodlet at some point though, so maybe it was a glitch. As Jamie and Gobias both have the "flirty" trait, that was kind of expected though, as they flirted pretty much every time they walked past each other. Magic duels are great for gaining levels at higher spellcasting levels.
I have never tried the architect career. I will save most Ambitions careers for times when I don't have to deal with a whole family.
@Brandontaylor Yeah, witches is pretty much all I use from Supernatural, plus the occasional vampire, but as I started Sims 3 with the "starter pack" in Bridgeport, those were more or less baseline in my mind. I have switched off some of the autonomous spellcasting though, like the love charm, or eating poison apples, which is funny once, but not all the time.

@Karritz I haven't had any meteor strikes in my game yet. That seems to be quite devastating. What do you think the reason for the lag is? The play pens? I never got those to work properly (the kids were overly attracted to them, and the adults obliged). Depending on how those iron-wrought patio fences were modeled, it may also be them.
