I've found more unique faces and, in that, I find beauty....the clothing though...and accessories is just as bad in my game. I'd post pics but I have none. I'm a terrible simmer for not snapping any pics.

@SiliClone oh wow, I didn’t know the game could generate male sims with a feminine form (or vice versa). Could it be from a mod? I think there’s an MCCC setting which means that you get sims from your library/the gallery as townies instead of game generated townies. Either way it’s awesome but if it’s not a mod and it’s intentional on the part of EA/Maxis I am happy that they’re giving us more inclusivity in the game.
The only mod I had inside the folder was mine, and it doesn't touch the generation of townies, it's just a new interaction... It was the vanilla game to do it.
Why are pear-shaped bodies automatically considered ugly?
From a biological perspective, wide hips is a feminine shape which is meant to accommodate an easier time giving birth. Broad shoulders is a masculine feature which provides greater strength and control when doing physical labor.

I'm sharing the name of an awesome mod that at least disables the eyeball ring from generating on your townies. Search msfrankenstein910 on Tumblr for the "Eyeball Be Gone" mod. I lurk here so I'm still not allowed to post links. :/
Anyways, what drives me crazy is the fact that the gurus even brought up the eyeball ring on the livestream. They were joking about its terribleness when they should be fixing the problem instead.

I got him after 21 Randomizes in a New Game in CAS. (I got a Not-So-Hot Pear-shaped Guy on the 10th click, heehee.) I changed the hair, beard, eyebrows, accessories, and clothing of this guy. I know he isn't as pear-shaped as some random Sims. I think they may have dialed the CAS settings back a bit for random. I think I noticed that after the patch that added the Sim Story thing, in game, as well as CAS, but it could just be me. One can hope, tho. Have you guys noticed anything different? It almost has to be in a New Save, because there are a lot of leftover NPCs in older ones.

I decided to play my tutorial save, and checked "other households" and there he was! I did save Siliclone's sim to my library, but haven't put that sim in any of my saves yet. They really must have snuck him in for all of us ALSO, the three usual premade mermaids are not hidden anymore...? I have used MCCC unhide households, but don't think that sticks after you log out, and I'm not even sure I've used it in that save (since I only did the tutorial, then left it until now)
ETA: Just entered CAS with young mr. Uha, and he's not a merman in my game. Might be random if he is or not
@Kathykins yeah I noticed in some of my saves the mermaids were showing up in Manage Households -> Other Households and in other saves they weren't.
And for some reason Kalamainu'u starts out with §28,000 instead of the usual §20,000... unless my eyes deceive me, which they probably do (I can't see things in plain sight...it's terrible )
@afai1261 my goodness, I had to check....your eyes don't decieve you, she actually has 28k in the save I'm currently in also! The other 2 has the usual 20k.

This is Jesminder Bheeda from City Living. I just got that pack today, and she and Arun, her husband were the first Sims I played with. She was pregnant and I wanted to name her baby. She is very pretty!
@MaggieMarley and everyone else wondering about the guy sim with a female frame. I have seen this happen in my game not as an EA sneak. It became possible for random generated sims(townies) to mix and match sex/frame/clothing at the same time it became possible for us to do so in CAS with the 'gender' update. In CAS under sex selection are three ellipsis that form a drop down menu with options for physical frame, clothing preference, reproductive preference and standing/sitting when using the toilet. It was a great free update for making Trans/NB/A/GNC sims and apparently the game can randomly make such sims as townies as well, which I think makes the game much more realistic in it's diversity.

@EASimmer30 yes I have used that option in CAS often although I have never seen the game generate a male townie with a female frame (or vice versa). It’s great that it can happen. But I think what is surprising us here is not that the sim in question is male with a female frame, but that the very same sim has suddenly appeared in all of our games after the patch - this was what was called “an EA sneak”.
