Oh boy, I don't even know where to start. Everyone seems to be passionate about something here and I find it amazing. You guys are all so incredibly good at building houses, making sims, and doing videos. I lack patience and skill for that (but i do hope to get somewhere with it eventually haha) so my sims get to live on the paper instead. And that's exactly what I intend to share here. More sims art. Because there's never enough of it.
I've been drawing my whole life but the past few years I haven't been very productive so my improvement in art has been staggering. Everyone gets a rough patch in life after all, eh. The sims helped me up my drawing game after vampires got released. So during lectures in uni, vampires just keep popping up in my notebooks.

This is the first sims themed drawing I made. It was for the recent anniversary. It's no surprise Bella Goth is my favorite premade sim (even though she loves to get into fights with my sim for no reason) and Caleb is definitely the second favorite. He looks very goofy to me, always sprinting across Forgotten Hollow with that happy wide grin on his face. The sim on the right is my own vampire, Veon. He's a real grump.

Hew, this got kind of lengthy thanks to the vertical-ness of the drawings. I'll add more things with time, in the comments.

New pencil test. Not a good one though hah I don't like how these pencils felt in my hands. I Sent Veon camping. And I hope there will be more ways to prepare plasma fruit in the future.

Felippe and Caleb again. They actually became friends. Tried to draw Felippe's home in the background. I'm rather fond of it. And pumpkins are love.

Another fun story. When I am not playing Veon's household. He does a lot of strange things as a townie. He is that one sim who strikes a conversation with your sim, gets your sim to stop eating and respond. And while your sim is busy talking about whatever, Veon takes your sims' dish and eats it himself. Veon why. He also picks up cupcakes from the ground and eats them. Sometimes I wonder if he is aware of his.. vampire-ness.

Few days ago I made this doodle of Eliza Pancakes trying on Bella's dress. Veon & the plasma plant included.

And yesterday I touched this idea again by creating a club where everyone has to wear Bella's outfit. My sims are already comically skinny and the dress squeezed their body beyond recognition. Still, it was very amusing. Here's a gif. (the gif is kind of big so click that link to see it fff)

Ritens, I really love your drawings! What colored pencils do you use? I saw you comment about a pencil you didn't like -- it didn't feel good in your hands?

@Idontrcall I normally use Koh-i-Noor watercolor pencils and another brand which I cannot spell because it happens to be russian. I'm real cheap when it comes to art tools. Always looking for anything that works well but doesn't cost a lot. The ones that I mentioned in the second post were some sort of oil pencils that I bought at random (can't find the case they were in right now so I won't be able to name the brand for now). It might be that I'm just not used to them yet. I remember when I looked them up online people were describing these pencils as some sort of hidden gem. So I'll be sure to give them another go... when I find them, that is.

Made two new sims last week and I grew so fond of them so quick. So I drew the rascals, and gave watercolours a go since I haven't used those in a while. I am very pleased with the result. ; u;

I'm thinking of trying out different techniques and mediums. Recently I got a green soap as part of a gift... I've done some minor soap carving before. Wonder if I can make a little plumbob out of it, then again I am horrible at geometry and straight lines. /shrug

Your sims that you have created are very nice!

It is a very creative and nice touch the way you have designed their light and dark forms to be the alternate of each other. Your drawing of them looks so very great! It reflects them so very well! It looks so nice how you have used the watercolours!
I hope that the soap carving into plumbobs goes well!

The plumbob turned out to be too complex for me. I'll need some practice before I attempt to make one again. haha Fortunately carving soap itself is a very relaxing thing to do.

I doodled the head of a fabulous townie from my game though. Love the random colorful elders it generates sometimes.

Haven't done any worthy drawings recently but I've been working on something else that I thought I should share. There is this one shirt that came with the vampire pack and I like it so much I decided to go ahead and try to make one myself.
Here is how far I got with it. Plus Veon strutting the ingame model for comparison haha. Cropping out my head because reasons. And pardon the quality.

It's nearly done. I need to do buy some buttons, do some ironing and other minor things. ; w;

Oh gosh. It's been a while huh. I'm not even sure if I'm allowed to post on a discussion I made 2 years ago anymore but thought I'll risk it regardless as I've gotten back into art mood regarding The Sims. The game still brings me so much joy even if I am slow with getting all the packs. Made this small drawing after facing The Mother ingame. Ahhh, I love her! She is beauty!
